A lovely, small cottage on the shores of the clear-water Kalkkistenkoski. Your own peace is guaranteed and the nature and scenery are unparalleled. Go to the sauna, swim, jump in the pool or go on a canoe trip. Or just whistle in the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite steep, so it is not suitable for very small children. The hot tub heats up next to the sauna terrace. Bed linen and towels are ready in the cottage. You can get to the yard by car. Ascetic remote old Finnish cottage with own beach and sauna. In midsummer there is also bilberry (nordic blueberry) fields right next to the cottage! The road goes all the way to the end. Firewood is included in the rent. The cottage has good 4G connections. Running water to the cabin, except in winter (11.1-4.15). Guests will have access to a rowboat and two life jackets. Kouvola's services can be found 40 kilometers away. Verla's Factory Museum is 10 km away.

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Fairy tales on the forest lake

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

Summer cottage by a lake at Mäntyharju

Nice rebuilt log cottage by lake Siikanen. Cottage is electrified and equiped with cold drinking water and warm shower water system. Peaceful beach opening to direction south. Available a small boat and two SUP-boards. At the yard there is a gas grill and an equipment cottage for firewood and eco wc. Our own summer house is near by (at 150 meter distance) thus help and additional services are often easily found. English and German are spoken by the hosts Timo and Tuula.
