Beachfront holiday rental in Lake Päijänne

Great little cottage with a great view. The cottage lived up to expectations, and even without running water was great with a small child. Also a good place for a dog to keep free. Great grilling, sauna, swimming, and relaxation.

I stayed for more than a week and it was perfect for me. The flat is very well-equipped and nicely situated directly by the lake. Henna is very friendly and helpful and made me feel at home straight away. I recommend 100%.

Perfect listing! It was better than the photos suggested. Even though it was a Venetian weekend, we were left alone for the entire long weekend. On the pier, we were able to admire the Isokoskelo family and the swan couple with their child. The water was clean and clear, the steam in the lakeside sauna was great!

The cottage was very cozy and we enjoyed it very much. The abundance had an atmospheric lake view, and we also loved the sandy beach. Great steam in the sauna. A big plus was the tennis court where we got good games! 😊

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

The cottage is beautifully quiet with private access to a small lake. The garden invites you to relax with its many different seating and lounging options, the jetty is ideal for morning yoga. It is important to know that there is no real shower. But you can wash yourself wonderfully with water heated by the oven in the sauna. The really well-equipped kitchen is great. Pans and knives are in great condition. There are also many spices and various kitchen utensils. Jaana was very friendly and helpful in written contact. We would love to come back to this idyllic place!

Gorgeous place, isolated spot but still in walking distance of bus to get to city. Cabin has everything you need. Will defo be back!

Eija was a tremendous host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were warmly welcomed curbside by Eija upon our arrival, where she provided us with detailed instructions on how/where to park the car. The building and surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures, which we didn't think would be possible. Eija explained all the aspects of the loft and showed us where to find maps, guides, and other useful information to make our stay more enjoyable. The loft was exactly as described and sparkling clean! The kitchen appliances, dishes, and other tools are all very high quality, and the washer and dryer worked well and were easy to use. Excellent Wifi and TV. Electric blinds will keep things dark during the bright Finnish summer, and there are plenty of linens and towels. Eija is very kind and responsive. We visit Tampere often and look forward to staying in Eija's loft again. Thank you for such a lovely experience! l

Had an overall lovely stay with my partner in a spectacular location right by the lake. Astonishing views for both breakfast and dinner were served right through the windows of the cottage. The price is of course in accordance with these features, maybe even a little too much. It might have been the particular weather but it was quite challenging to get the sauna ventilation exactly to where it doesn't let the smoke in the room.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

Simply loved staying at this place, full 10 experience! The villa and its yard were very beautiful, with direct views of the lake from the big windows. The villa was very well equipped, whenever you were looking for something, it was found. Our days were kept by the songs and passages of different children on the property, as well as two cute sheltti dogs that popped up every now and then to scratch. The villa had modern solutions for even the discerning cottage maker, but also atmospheres, for example, wood sauna and tub. The lot was paid for, and it was heated when we arrived at the cottage. The beach was also good. On the large terrace of the villa, we had breakfast, enjoyed the sun, and also got to yoga! The host was friendly and responded well to our messages. The cottage was easy to find and check-in was effortless. We would definitely stay here again!

Pert's place was exactly as described. The apartment is in a cozy area and the apartment itself is peaceful and clean. It's easy to get to by car, and there's a parking spot in the yard. Pertti was responsive and greeted with keys. Communication was straightforward. I definitely recommend Pert's place 👍

Finnish cottage idyll at its best. The cottage is in an incredibly beautiful location and decorated down to the smallest detail to suit the spirit and season of the cottage. Considering the size of the cottage, kitchen and other supplies are really well found. The terrace surrounding the cottage provides a comfortable extra space. The place is very peaceful. The owner couple lives in the house above, but the beach cottage is completely private and Tuulevi and Henrik are really friendly and helpful. Warm recommendation!
