Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lake Rotorua / Te Rotorua nui ā Kahumatamomoe

It was a very good place to stay. Graham and Sarah are very friendly, easy to talk and helpful couple. They have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. They have horses, cows, sheep and pigs that we could feed - the kid loved it. The bunk beds were a big hit for my kid. I would stay here again next time I go to Rotorua and I wouldn't need to go anywhere,I could stay the whole day at this house. There is so much to do games, BBQ, table tennis etc etc.

What a gem of a place. Just what I was looking for to start my New Zealand adventure, with a little 12K on the side! The accommodation was warm and inviting, with everything that you could want. The location is walkable to central Rotorua with the shops and eateries. David and Peniel were very responsive and accommodating, the perfect hosts. I would highly recommend this lovely place to stay and relax.

The location is perfect for tourists wanting to explore both Rotorua and Hobbiton. Yvonne always responded to my questions kindly and promptly. Our family had a comfortable stay here for four nights.

Loved this place, From the moment we arrived it felt like home, beautiful welcome letter and refreshments. We didn't arrive till around midnight and they put the heat pump on for us. The house was clean and plenty of board games which was awesome as there was a local power cut, didn't bother us at all. Had everything we needed even toothbrushes which was great because the kids forgot theirs. We wish we would've come in summer to use the awesome bbq. It's a great location being out of Rotorua but not too far. Nice and quiet area. Nathan and Ashlyn are great hosts, were very accomodating and always there if we needed anything. We would recommend this home to families visiting as the yards are fully fenced as-well which is great for the little ones.

Wow gave 5 stars only because we could’t give 6. First of all it’s in a very quiet neighborhood yet still so close to all the attractions in Rotorua. The view is absolutely stunning. The house was super clean and had everything you needed. It’s a beautiful home. I definitely recommend staying here! We also loved the complimentary snacks and how we had the basic needs for the kitchen!

Judy and Ray are the nicest hosts and made us feel very welcome and we felt like home. We loved staying there as it was super quiet and the view from the kitchen window was so beautiful! Right into the veggie garden, beautiful fruit trees and a green hill with cows. The apartment was actually more spacious than we thought and we enjoyed relaxing on the couch after a long day of riding. We also found delicious breakfast stuff in the pantry and some sweets as a welcome treat which was an unexpected bonus. The location is perfect for heading out to the mountain bike trails which we took advantage of as we brought our own bikes with us. All in all we can highly recommend this place and we hope to be able to return at some stage.

Beds are comfortable with fresh linen. Extra blankets provided. Had the heat pump going for an hour and once turned off the place stayed warm and Cosy. Lots of towels available for use. Cafes are close.

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

An excellent location and extremely helpful host. The space is spotlessly clean and solid value. The cats were adorable and gave the place character. Way better than booking a motel room ...it felt safe and cosy. Highly recommended and we will book again.

Perfect stay of 3D 2N! Both Kate & David are friendly. When you are in Rotorua…this is the place anyone should stay! Their home are lovely. We missed Tia, their dog.

Beautiful, spacious, and on the lake!

We had a wonderful stay at this AirBnB and would highly recommend it! The view in the morning was absolutely stunning and such a treat to wake up to. Kiki was an amazing host, always quick to respond to any queries we had, which made everything so easy. We were definitely happy with our stay and are already thinking about a return visit!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we truly felt like we were at home. The breakfast was delicious, and the beautiful, private surroundings made for a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing experience.

We had a fabulous stay at Ginie's quirky converted boathouse. The boathouse is right on the shores of the Lake with a small beach at the bottom of the garden. The highlight for us was paddleboarding from the house (excellent easy access) on a mirror-like lake surrounded by bird life, followed by relaxing in the spa. The accommodation was delightfully quirky and clean and Ginie had left us some delicious baked goods in the fridge. We were surprised at all the wee details... So carefully thought out. The hosts were very unintrusive, we wouldn't have known they were there other than a quick goodbye when we left. Thank you, we would love to come back!

Marty & Lou's upstairs apartment is amazing! the furniture, the bed, the linen all incredibly comfortable. The space is so welcoming! so peaceful. An extreemly short walk to the lake's edge and so too the 10k walking trail that circles the lake. A short drive (2km maybe) to the blue lake (more trails, swimming, boating) and so maybe 3km to the worlds best mountain bike and running trails. While the breakfast room doesn't have cooking facilities that didn't worry us - Marty and Lou supplied breakfast and with less than a 9km drive to the nearest cafes and bars and maybe 12km to the CBD to find lunch or dinner we were set! We happily made basic meals thanks to simple cutlery and crockery, a small fridge, toaster and jug. We were able to store our mountain bikes and muddy running gear in the utility room. Marty, Lou and their cats were so friendly. We loved our stay and hope we can stay again.

David welcomed us into his home and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived at his place His hospitality was one of kindness and marked professionalism. His interaction with us made us feel right at home. His accommodation was a 'home' away from home for us. His beautiful peaceful garden and orchard was breathtaking. If I could assign a sixth star, I would do so without hesitation. Peter and Nanette were wonderful hosts, genuinely, interesting and full Of good advice as to what to do in the area. I felt very my at home.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Unfortunately our plans changed and we could only stay one night, wished we could have spent more time there. After a chaotic flight over it was nice to have a peaceful getaway to reset. Would love to stay again!
