Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Rotorua / Te Rotorua nui ā Kahumatamomoe

We only stayed one night as we had an event to attend, but we felt relaxed as soon as we entered this lovely clean home. Everything was clean and sparkling, the beds were comfortable, all linens high quality and the rural setting was gorgeous. Highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting to stay in the area and I hope to stay again when we are next looking for accomodation in Rotorua/Ngongotaha. Thanks to Mark and Christina for providing such a lovely AirBNB.

Lovely stay at the pink house. Was greeted by Alby upon arrival and shown around and explained things to us. House well set up for a family of 5. Comfy main bed and warm house. Really enjoyed our stay

Great stay and awesome accomodation. Exactly as described and bigger. Luxury bedding and linen plus plenty of space for the kids. Not too far from town, convenient location. We appreciated the fireplace and games/toys. Would absolutely stay again.

Everything was absolutley spotless. The house felt so welcoming and we slept so well in the beds. Super comfortable mattresses and beautiful linen. Carpets felt like they were brand new. Anne was so kind and was happy to be there if we needed her. She made our 5 year old daughter feel at home. My daughter loved the presence of the animals on the property and the swings and trampoline were a pleasant surprise for her. We feel like we didn’t have enough time in Rotorua so plan to come back again one day and won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Thank you to Carla for being such a great host. From communicating before booking, she was very helpful and friendly. Her communication was what sold me to this house. When we got here, it felt like home. She even had dishes, books, toys, and equipment for kids. I love the small touches such as providing umbrellas and coat hangers. I highly recommend this place a lot

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The place was clean and tidy and incredibly comfortable. It had everything I needed. The location was perfect too. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We loved Ellen's home and gardens. And the hens. And the hot tub. So many different plants - flowers and fruits. We ate raspberries, feijoa, fresh eggs, passionfruit, herbs, etc. Ellen made room for us in the fridge, the cupboards, wardrobes, etc. Everything was so clean and tidy - we really felt at home. Will be back one day.

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Toka Ridge, booking the beautiful “Toka 4 – Koko” villa. It was a last-minute trip to Rotorua, and we truly lucked out finding this absolute gem. The villa was spotless, spacious, and tastefully designed, a perfect home away from home. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The villa had everything we needed and more, including a luxurious spa pool an absolute highlight, especially with Rotorua’s cozy, rainy weather! For those new to the area, the guest book provided at the property is incredibly helpful. It’s full of local recommendations, tips, and helpful information to make the most of both the home and the Rotorua experience. A big thank you to our host, Liam, who was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Toka Ridge exceeded our expectations the kids loved it, we loved it, and we’re already planning our next visit!

Our stay at this beautiful and spacious home was enjoyed by all 9 of our whanau ranging from old to young. We were close enough to attractions we wanted to visit, the spacious kitchen and formal dinning space allowed for delicious homemade family dinners and eating all together around the table. Thank you for supplying an abundance of food and treats for us to enjoy, it was so appreciated arriving our first day and enjoyed through to our last.

Such a beautiful home with a beautiful view of the city. We really enjoyed a soak in the spa after our busy day. Wished we stayed longer, so will definitely look at staying here again. The host is friendly and fast to communicate! My friends and I enjoyed our stay :)
