Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Rousseau

Perfect location for our plans with local family and friends. We felt totally comfortable like it was our home. No hotel vibes at all. So relaxing and the pool was a fantastic retreat! Clean, spacious, and an amazing host. We will be back!

The home is exactly as described in the listing: home was clean and came with all the boats and tubes for a fun time on the river! Lots of life jackets and goggles to use if you dont have your own. publix and walmart are a short drive in town about 10 min. The home is at the end of a small deadend couldesac with a rental on 1 side and an abandoned house on the other, beautiful nature drive, seems to be in a safe area, it was private. Plenty of space and beds, the home was clean (and we are picky) and everything was up to date not run down or worn out. Nearby fast food and "Swampys" on the water if thats what you like, but If you want quality food, drive about 30 minutes west to Inverness/Yankeetown and try Blackwater Grill, absolutely best food for you money. Being Florida natives, we didnt jump off the dock, too much grass and know what hides in the grass..we saw a huge snapping turtle in it with baby turtles near the dock. overall it was a great stay and we would come back! I found the house around a lot of family I had only 10 mins away. Wonderful location. Hosts responded very quickly. Coming from PA with 5 kids and all that is included was so very helpful. From toilet papers and paper towels, to trash bags, k-cups, laundry soap and dishwasher tabs. Pool and hot tub along with the game room provided lots of memories. Will definitely be staying here again!

Susan’s place was great, really peaceful, we had canoes and barbecues and a place called the freezer just down the road, a short bike ride away, ice cream bar everyone in in area is super friendly, we’d totally recommend it to anyone. A great place to stay.

Our employees loved having this peaceful and beautiful location to rest and wake up to the peaceful surroundings the next morning after working hard all day. I don't think 5 stars are enough for this house. it was one of if not the best Airbnb I've stayed in my entire life. a huge house, with just about everything you could possibly need. the game room is amazing, the yard is huge with a lot to do. Maria was friendly and very responsive. and made sure we had the best stay. cannot recommend this place enough!

George's place was perfect for our family get together. The setting is so beautiful right on the river we brought our 17" Mako boat and enjoyed the river immensely. The master suite was perfect for my elderly parents with grab handles to help them get around. The boat ramp was 5min from the house and the dock in back of the house was accessible for my boat. The kitchen was well equipped with most anything you need to prepare meals. There is ample parking as well. George was very responsive with any communications we made. We even had to return for a forgotten item, they were waiting for us inside the front door. I highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful setting for family and fun and the time on the river is great. There are several kayaks, we did not use them since we had our boat but the river would be great for a kayak outing.

We went to Crystal River to swim with the Manatees. Donald's place was only 8 minutes away. Even though this apartment is on a quiet dead end street and very private, there were great restaurants and conveniences very near by.

A lovely apartment located behind the historic Kemp house. The location was close to downtown and in a beautiful historic neighborhood of Ocala. The apartment was very clean and decorated nicely. Jill Marie was in regular communication with me and readily available should I need anything. The check in was easy, quick and flawless. I look forward to visiting again!

I enjoyed another wonderful stay at Joyce's place (my third stay). As always, great communication and very clean and welcoming space. The neighborhood is top notch for an easy walk to historic downtown, while residing in a tranquil tree layered oasis.

Regina was friendly and helpful host, and we had a wonderful stay. She went above and beyond to help us with local recommendations. I was very grateful that she had bikes and her tandem kayak available for us to borrow to explore the area. We would love to return again to see the manatees!

Monica is a wonderful host. She was responsive and caring during a difficult time for my family (death of a loved one). The place was in great shape and was exactly what I needed and conveniently located to where I needed to be in Ocala. Kitchen provided needed appliances, amenities and supplies where required. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean with necessary linens and supplies. Ample closet space if you are traveling with more than just a carryon. Note to anyone reading this - know that the bedrooms are on the top floor, so climbing stairs are required. Consider this when booking. Thank you Monica for the use of your place.

This was the first time I stayed at Geri's place and it was wonderful. Even though I was staying in a condo, the entire complex was very quiet and peaceful. Geri was very responsive and I will definitely consider staying here again when I am back in the area.

Had a great time at the condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed meeting new friends during the unofficial "happy hour". There is no shortage of things to do in the area and this was a great place to stay while visiting our daughter. We will stay here again. The only disappointing thing was that the pool temperature was very cold, but this was not any fault of the hosts themselves, the weather was unusually cold for FL during our stay. We still were able to use the pool during our stay.

We stayed 3 months at Chet and Lizys place and everything was perfect and as expected. The area was peaceful and quiet and with all kinds of nature, our morning walks were always a new adventure whether it was local or one of the many trails nearby. Lots of great restaurants in the area and beautiful scenery at most. Chet and Liz were wonderful hosts and always available for any questions.

I had a great stay! I loved the quiet location and easy access to everything I needed. The condo was exactly as described, and very clean.

Chris's place was lovely! Unexpectedly spacious and very comfortable. Very clean and well kept!

This place was very comfortable and extremely well stocked, including towels for the awesome community pool. We cooked almost every day and the condo had everything we needed. Was also nice to have a carport at the unit. Bruce was a great host and responded very promptly to our inquiries. (The listing says no clothes dryer but there is one in the unit.)

This little place was perfect for what we were after. We wanted to be right on the water and have the ability to have a slip for our JetSki.
