This was our first time doing a trip into the snowy mountains of northern CA. The house was a great place for us to stay as a family. It is conveniently located, close to Mt Shasta City. You have a beautiful view at Mt Shasta from the upstairs rooms. The house has a very unique charm to it and offers endless possibilities. There are so many beautifully decorated rooms and cozy places you can choose from. The communication with the host was easy and flawless. I would always come again.

I loved this spot! We will definitely be staying again sometime. Loved how close it was to downtown and some restaurants. The neighborhood was also very good for walking in. The place was very charming and we enjoyed it a lot 💖

So grateful to have a peaceful and cozy place to stay near Mount Shasta. It was extra special to stay in a place that felt more like a home than staying at a hotel. I really enjoyed how clean the entire place was and how comfortable the bed was. If you’ve looking for something private with beautiful nature this is the place.

We enjoyed our stay at the River House. Conveniently located, clean, easy check in and check out, quiet, private, and we especially enjoyed having the river so close. We could see and hear it, which was so relaxing! We know where we will be staying when we visit Dunsmuir and Shasta Lake area again…the River House. Thanks Elizabeth!

We had an amazing week at Leilani and Nick’s cottage in Mt Shasta! The place perfectly matched the description and pictures. It is cozy and furnished with a great attention to detail. There are written messages throughout to help guests operate the appliances properly. There was everything we needed including dishwasher and laundry product which saved us from having to buy it in bulk for a short stay. We really enjoyed taking breakfast on the front patio! It also gives good cover if you want to sit outside in the warmer afternoon. The views of Mt Shasta from the backyard are incredible, allowing one to see the Avalanche Gulch, Casaval Ridge and Cascade Gulch climbing routes. The cottage is also very close to the Everitt Memorial Highway which directly goes to the trailhead for these routes. We would absolutely come again if we return to the region !

If you're looking to get away from the city, this is the place. Located on a working rescue ranch the views are amazing. The studio is perfect for 1 to 2 people and it has all the amenities. Laura is super friendly and was so helpful to point me in the right direction for a great hike behind the property. There are breath taking views from the top of the ridge. Be sure to take advantage of that hike! Located about 17 minutes south of Yreka, it is the perfect spot for whatever is on your agenda for a trip in Siskiyou County. For me it was work, but what a great place to relax at the end of the day!

Julianne was a helpful host and her place was comfortable and spacious. Wish we could have stayed an additional day to enjoy the back deck and beautiful sunset! Would stay again!
