Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Tawakoni

We had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us. The view of the lake was very beautiful. Sandy was amazing to work with and answered all of our questions about the area and places to eat.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom beach house at 401 Admiral Drive in Gun Barrel City, TX. The property is perfect for a family getaway — our group of 10 stayed comfortably for two days and had an amazing experience. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything in great working condition. The backyard is truly a highlight — spacious and peaceful with direct access to the water, a fishing dock, and a beach volleyball setup. We also enjoyed water sports right from the property, which made it even more special. The owner, Shinu, was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they really care about the guest experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and family-friendly escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Our stay in Tyler was nothing short of perfect! The home is nestled in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful retreat while still being just minutes from some of the best restaurants and shops in town. The location truly couldn’t be better for exploring everything Tyler has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive and made us feel welcome from the moment we booked, always quick to answer questions and provide helpful local tips. What really set this home apart were the spa-like amenities—the private sauna and hot tub turned our getaway into a true relaxation experience. After a day out, unwinding in the hot tub or sauna made us feel like we were at a luxury spa. We can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of indulgence in Tyler!

The house is way larger than it appears! The backyard has plenty to do and it is excellent size. This is the perfect Airbnb for a family with young children. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. I actually grew up in this neighborhood and we come back once a month for work and we will be staying here again.

A great place for a family stay. We loved the layout and style of the home. Everything you need for a home away from home holiday. Gun barrel city is a great town that is really close by. The beds are comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. Well thought out property

Very nice place to chill and enjoy the peacefulness by the water. Charlene was super responsive to any questions and super quick with her reply. Place was immaculate in cleanliness as well as the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as sitting out watching the boats go by out of the big lake. Chris and Andrea were attentive and very responsive hosts. Their lakefront escape was nicely furnished, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with needed items and there was ample room for our family of six. The deck was comfortable and inviting with the outdoor dining table/chairs, grill and sitting area. The A/C and fans kept us cool while we were inside enjoying the nighttime movies on the TVs with streaming apps. The best aspect overall for our family was the outdoor space and the lake. It was very private and we absolutely enjoyed our time fishing, swimming, paddleboating and relaxing surrounded by nature.

We had an amazing weeks stay and will definitely do it again! Great location on the lake for fishing. Beautiful house and beautiful property. Fish caught off the dock as well as our boat all week. Leslie was always there to answer any questions we had come up. We felt right at home and were very comfortable our entire stay

Adrienne was an amazing host. The place, animals, pool, and host was outstanding. A great get away. Will be going back. Adrienne took care of us from helping us get to the property, to fixing some small issues, to helping us get around in Terrell, and show off her wonderful place. This is where you need to stay if you need to get away.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our family has property on Lake Palestine right around the corner to visit with family during the day. It was very convenient and comfortable to come to each night for a peaceful night. I really like the natural products provided for us - hand soap, lotion and cleaning spray. Our host responded quickly to some minor needs. We plan to stay here next time we are in the area.

Such a cute place and nice to split up a small group for privacy purposes. 10/10 will be using them in the future.

Kevin and Debra were super accommodating and were very responsive! They even supplied us with a pack and play for our 6 month old so it would be one less thing for us to pack. We enjoyed our stay at there house and will book with them again down the line for our next lake trip

Beyond my expectations! This is a once in a lifetime find of a gem. From the host to the destination, you will not be disappointed. The hospitality is akin to a book - you know the ones you read and say to yourself, "I wish that type of place exited!". It all began with Bill. He checked on the progress of our journey to Mineola, Tx which completely surprised me. He was there when we arrived, helped to get us into our room, and - best of all- he gave us a guided tour and history of the property. Guys, there is so much detail, thought, and comfort that goes into this magical place. Talk about exotic, rich, and comfortable! Never ever would I have thought my weekend would be so relaxing and thrilling all that the same time. We even had the pleasure of sharing some amazing rescue pups that make your stay feel like home - no, they do not enter your lodgings. In the words of my teenage daughter, "It is perfect!" I would stay here over and over! Don't miss out on your chance of a lifetime!

Such a cozy and homey stay! I had everything I needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is secluded, which made it feel like I was going offline—a peaceful break I really enjoyed. While cell signal is limited, their Wi-Fi works perfectly once connected. Highly recommend staying here, and if I’m ever back in town, I’d love to rebook!

Loved this place! It was very quiet and nice beautiful outdoor area to go relax customer service is very helpful and awesome and lots to do around the area. Definitely would recommend it!

Me & my wife loved it here! It was a GREAT getaway from our lives. It was for her 30th birthday & I can vouch she had an amazing stay along with me. Place was so clean & everything was perfect. We would DEFINITELY come back & stay again.

Great place to stay. Has a neat screened in porch with a tv. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom and shower are great. Has a covered area for your boat and another covered are for your pickup. The road to the place has some major potholes so be careful driving through them. Will definitely stay again.

My family and I absolutely loved staying in your cabin. It was a nice switch from the city. The cabin has a very cozy feeling just as Leslie told me. We saw so many animals on our way there and leaving! It’s a very cool spot to get away and chill! ☺️

We had such a great stay . The Airbnb was comfortable with beautiful decor . They had vhs movies and board games available for use , which was very amazing considering we are 90’s babies lol. Definitely would recommend this Airbnb
