Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Tekapo

This is the place brings you peaceful mind. Will definitely bring back my parents here next time. It's so quiet and private that you can only hear the birds chirping. It's like the real-life ASMR that can calm you down. I really like all the facilities that keep guests stay warm. For example, the cap in the shower room, heating pad for every bed, and aircon is also available. Also we had several animal visitors like bunnies and a cat. Very nice and cute.

The host of John is a northeastern uncle who is fun and humorous and well cared for.Because it happened to be snowy and it was not very convenient to go out, I nested John in the hall for two hours and learned a lot of interesting information about New Zealand.The room is relatively small, there is basically no place to rest after two suitcases are opened, and it may not be appropriate to share the bathroom with other guests.Parking is free and easy, that's like!The price was too high for the local room, and the value for money combined.

The place and scenery was nice and cosy. Kitchen floor was a little sticky but bearable - cooked many meals in our short 3 day stay.

Fantastic spot to enjoy the amazing location around the lakes and McKenzie District and of course Maadi Cup! A great house that had everything we needed in a very quiet and scenic place.

I stayed here for a rowing Regatta. It’s the perfect location and a very spacious room and very large bed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

beautiful home with character and rustic luxury. really enjoyed the stay. outlook is beautiful, steps. away from restaurants and shops. bedding is luxurious and very comfortable. only tiny complaint is there's not much coffee provided..theres a capsule machine and french press but only 5-6 packets of instant coffee provided... other than that, a pure bliss.. :)

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, super clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It’s a 20 min drive to Twizel and any store but we didn’t mind the drive because it’s so beautiful! The neighborhood is quiet and remote. But a good location for exploring the surrounding area. The only disappointing thing was the house being oriented completely opposite of the lake views. The main windows in the living rooms opened to the street and the bedrooms in the back of the house had tiny windows that faced the lake. The garage in back also blocks the lake view. The main bedroom did have a window facing the lake but you can’t take advantage of it due to the next door neighbor living in a bus about 10 feet from the window. So for privacy, the curtains needed to be closed. But despite the strange orientation of the house, everything was smooth, pristine and comfortable. And even though the main windows faced the street side, the front patio was landscaped for some privacy.

Nice house, clean and modern, great base for local area and Mount Cook. Highly recommend.

Thank you for this beautiful place. it is very well equipped and this is the first Airbnb that has a rice cooker! abit small walkway at the smaller rooms but not an issue. Do take note if you are coming around my time and if arriving late night, sometimes Lake Tekapo is a bit foggy. I had quite a challenge finding the place because of the fog, other than that the view during the day is picturesque. kids played snow right at the balcony!

Older fashioned house but just as described and perfectly suitable for our needs. Would happily stay there again.
