The house is a short walking distance to the indoor pool (open Labor Day to Memorial Day), and just a street away from a beautiful state park with over 2000 acres to explore with trails and a sandy beach 250 acre lake. The outdoor pool, beaches, tennis courts and more are open Memorial Day to Labor Day. 3 Ski slopes are less than 30 minutes away.

The cottage sits on a .50 acre of land with a fire pit and adirondack seating perfect for an evening of smores. Lake Wallenpaupack is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Enjoy the natural beauty of the lake from the covered porch, stone patio, or the dock. This two bedroom cottage is great for a small family getaway any time of the year! Come enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming all from your own private dock. Please note that during the winter months weather conditions can rapidly change. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter stays. Also, occasional power outages do occur year round due to weather. During prolonged outages, generator power can be provided.

🐻The Poconos Rustic Cozy Bear Chalet Pet-Friendly

We have been visiting the Poconos for a number of years. Finally, we had decided to move there permanently…haven’t looked back since. This area is everything outdoorsy kind of people can look for – so much to see and do! As far as the chalet, we have been told by multiple groups that the kitchen is very well-stocked. The place is prepared with the intention of making it a themed, cozy, affordable, and above all clean place where our guests can enjoy themselves, no matter where they come from.
