Spent a week in a cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, and it was exactly the reset I needed. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature—waking up to the sound of birds and falling asleep under the stars felt like a dream. The cabin itself was warm, clean, and had all the essentials. Whether we were sitting by the fire, going on nearby hikes, or just enjoying the view on the porch, every moment felt grounding. No traffic, no stress—just stillness. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and recharge. Can’t wait to go back.

Many thanks to Chris for sharing his home with us. What a pleasant surprise to have wine and S'mores fixings all ready for us. Our family (4 couples and 4 kids) had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The location is lovely. We were even able to enjoy the firepit after weeks of rain. Due to unseasonable weather we went to Steamtown one day and hiked the lake and forest trails the next day. Too cool and rainy for other activities. We will definitely share your listing with friends and family. Thank you once again.

Loved our stay ! Favorite part was walking to and from the lake our 6 year old caught over 20 fish (bait & release) lol but it was amazing . We kayaked , Jacuzzi was amazing we did have some rainy days I suggest brining starter logs 🪵 got the fire pit. Kitchen amenities are 10/10 . Wish we would have brought hiking boots because it’s the perfect location for a good hike. Will definitely rebook this house

Just as described. The host was great and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Updated, clean, homey feeling place with thoughtful furnishings. The AC worked very well and cooled the house down very well. We really enjoyed our stay and the convenience to downtown Honesdale and nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house and we’d stay here again without question.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Darya's Airbnb, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The house is not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. It's evident that Darya takes great pride in maintaining the property to a high standard. One of the highlights for our family was definitely the game room. It was well-equipped and provided endless fun for both the kids and adults. We spent many evenings enjoying friendly competitions and creating lasting memories. The pool was another major plus – it was clean, well-maintained, and offered a refreshing escape during the warmer parts of the day. We spent countless hours lounging by the poolside, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Darya was a fantastic host, very responsive and accommodating to our needs. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring her guests have a great time.

We stayed here for a family wedding. The location of the property was great and the home itself was a perfect fit for our family. The home was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Any questions we had were answered very quickly. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Great winter stay. House had tons of space for two families of 3. Plenty of sleeping options and living spaces to stretch out in. House was exactly as pictured. Michael was always quick to respond with any questions I had for him. Weather was super uncooperative, but the house had everything we needed for ice and snow. Would recommend to anyone, couples, families, large group. Would definitely stay again next year if we decide to brave the Hideout Skill Hill again!

Jessica's restored barn is amazing and one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! The photos don't do it justice! The barn is unique and has the most incredible views! The sunset experience is A++, and the deck is the most serene place to have your morning coffee. The most impressive part is how clean the space is- I'm not sure how she does it! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from a popcorn maker to a vitamix. There are spaces to sit, relax and nap in every corner of the house. It is immaculate, thoughtful, peaceful and comfortable. Bonus- if you love music, there is an insanely good CD & record collection. Jessica was so responsive to any of our outreach and we will 100% be back. *10/10 would recommend, this place is a total find!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We normally come up to the Poconos for the yearly NASCAR races, and this time around we wanted a place with a hot tub. We loved the hot tub! Another great aspect of the trip was waking up to a ton of wildlife in the yard! The deer and local wildlife didn't even bat an eye to humans. It was great! The community is quiet, and even though you have neighbors you feel secluded and private. There was a bump or two in the road during our stay, but I have to give great kudos to Jacob and Mina. They were very responsive with communication at all hours of the day. I highly recommend staying with them.

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

What a relaxing stay for our mini getaway. I will start with the responsiveness and friendliness! Great hosts. When we checked in, we saw a bday balloon (for my bf’s bday), water, a bday glass, and pretzels. Totally sweet and welcoming! House was spotless. We loved the view, fireplace, and hot tub. We cooked some great meals on the grill. We took out the paddleboat for a quick trip which was so much fun. We also enjoyed watching movies on the huge tv downstairs. It was a quick, relaxing time away. Thank you for having everything that made our time away worth it!

My friends and I absolutely loved Eddie's place. Any problems or concerns we had were addressed within a reasonable time. We definitely recommend staying at Eddie's place!

I stayed here with 6 girls for my bachelorette trip and we had a great time. Location is great so much to do in the area and loved sitting out my the lake. Only thing I'd say is that the spillway is a little louder than I expected. I loved all the wildlife that we saw too.

Our stay at Marina’s place was absolutely fantastic! The cabin was spotless and super cozy for my family. Marina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants/things to do and answering all of our questions prior to and during our stay. Even though it was raining pretty much our whole stay, we loved being able to relax in the sauna & hot tub! Extra points for being so welcoming of our little pup too! We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time in the Poconos! The cabin was clean, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. Our kids loved the polycade, and we saw deer in the yard multiple times a day. It was a very nice stay, and we highly recommend it!

Our stay at Boris and Tina’s place was fantastic! The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Tina was very accommodating and was flexible with check in time. She provided all the instructions very clearly before we checked in. We can’t wait to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a getaway from New York City, and this place was perfect. It was quaint, charming, nicely decorated, and well prepared for us – there was a guestbook full of ideas with things to do, firewood stacked up nicely for the fire, and even a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate waiting upon arrival. The host was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions in advance, giving recommendations for things to do nearby. I stayed there with my two boys, and we ended up going horseback riding, played basketball, went to a nearby family, fun park for go carts, mini golf, laser, tag, etc. There was also a record player, with records, which was really interesting. if you want to play tennis or Pickleball, you need to make a reservation in advance. Overall, it was an amazing and fun trip.

Family of 9 had a great week here! Instructions for entering through the development were a little odd, but we all managed to make it to the house after weaving through the neighborhood. We felt the house supplied enough of the necessities (TP, paper towels, soap etc.) My kiddos LOVED the hot tub and arcade game. Navigating the development was an experience. We liked having the lake/beach access available (bring your own chairs!) We were unable to use pools as they were only open on the weekends (Even in JUNE, and we did NOT know this) My main complaint was the dog fur and dust bunnies on carpets and under the beds. The hot tub was serviced twice on our trip and we were never notified. We utilized the fire pit, but you must provide your own wood. Blackstone grill was great for mass cooking. The deck and concrete patio are also in need of TLC and would NOT recommend if you have littles crawling around.

The girls weekend was great. The AIRBNB was very cozy and perfect for the weekend. Our hosts were amazing and responded to all our needs. They helped with the kayaks in and out of the water. Extremely pleasant to talk to. The cottage was great with a screened in porch which had a bed and it was amazing to sleep enjoying the sounds of crickets, frogs and birds in the morning. I would stay there again. We enjoyed the PA rail ride, kayaking and the town concert. Thank you to our host.

Truly a one-of-a-kind experience! We had the best time staying here! The place is super cozy and had that perfect homey vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable. The view from the place was beautiful, and we loved being able to see the animals right outside the door. We spent time with the sweet horses and friendly cats — it really made the stay extra special. Everything was clean, peaceful, and just what we needed. Amy was awesome — super responsive and helpful the whole time. We’d definitely come back and totally recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique getaway!

Perfect house if you’re looking for a weekend getaway on the lake! We purchased a lot of stuff for the weekend only to realize the house pretty much had everything. Great size and location, with perfect cabin vibes.
