Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Vermilion

My husband, my 3 boys, and I stayed at the Birch House for a week. My husband and 2 oldest boys fished in Ely for the week. It wasn’t too far from their fishing location. The baby and I stayed and relaxed in the house all week! It was supper comfy and the baby loved bathing in the walk in shower. He had plenty of room to roam and do what baby’s do. The house was squeaky clean when we got there and the host were supper friendly and easy to communicate with! 10/10! Would recommend and would stay there again!

The cabin was beautiful! It was private and we felt like we were removed from everything. We were able to relax and recharge. We were left great ideas for hiking, food, and sightseeing. We would love to book it again!

We loved our stay at Mary Ann’s place! Our family of 5 fit very comfortably and there was room for even more. We were amazed at the cleanliness of it we felt right at home instantly. The hosts went above and beyond to care for their guests with many little details to make our stay great. The best part was how pet friendly it was. There was even a leash out back so my dog could be tied up to go outside which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place

WOW! This place is such an awesome find and Charlie and Heidi have been the most responsive, helpful and kind hosts we have come across in our time using Airbnb. The home is gorgeous and laid out in a way that even with a large group of people, you can always find a quiet spot for yourself. The view is AH-mazing! Beds were extremely comfortable, home was spotless, and the young adults LOVED the sauna. I personally enjoyed my morning coffee in the downstairs porch area or on the deck, enjoying the million dollar view and listening to the loons. Heidi and Charlie have put so much thought into making sure that their home feels like your own with so many thoughtful and appreciated supplies and comforts. They put their heart and soul into making sure you have a memorable and lovely stay. Highly recommend!!

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

We had a such a relaxing time here! Host was very responsive. The place was so nice and clean and was perfect for our getaway in two harbors! We really enjoyed the bonfire pit and the sauna!

We loved staying at Cassandra’s place! It was beautiful, the place is clean and cozy. It has everything that we need for a weekend stay in the north shore area. Close to state parks and the area is nice to explore. Definitely would recommend!

Debbie's place was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It's a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops, and close to the Bear and Wolf centers and close to hiking trails. We would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Virginia! It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient and made for a great home base while we were in town for a wedding. The host was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note: there’s a single window A/C unit in the main living area, so the bedrooms can get a bit warm, especially during hotter days. There are two fans to help circulate air. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this spot!

This was my third visit and definitely not my last. Well organized host and a great communicator. The place is clean and the bed is comfortable!

Loved the location right in town and a very quiet part of town. Located 10 minute walk from the beach area. Only downfall there wasn’t a bedroom door which we knew before getting to but otherwise everything was perfect! A nice sitting area outside! Really highly recommend!

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Great place! We enjoyed our stay. Loved being close to all amenities of Giants Ridge. Very spacious room and nice to have multiple bathrooms! Eldon communicated all details ahead of our stay and shared all information we needed and more!

Words can’t even express the amount of gratitude we had for this space. We absolutely took advantage of the entire place. It was magical!. The location, the food, the view, all the people and all intentional things, What a gift!. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us. We will be back.

Beautiful home out near Two Harbors! The land was so peaceful and the home itself was one of the best supplied that we have ever stayed in. Hope to return.

Josh was very helpful and the place is beautiful. Easy check-in, amenities are perfect. We enjoyed everything very much.

Karen was a wonderful host who was prompt to respond to our questions and needs. She was able to understand our questions and is making accommodations for the future. It was such a beautiful place with so much to do within a 1/2 hr drive. I would highly recommend others and look forward to future trips and the ability to stay again.

Jamie was great to deal with and had many special amenities that she had available. She gave clear instructions and was very responsive.

We are a family of three with a teenager. We spent a few days during the week here to ski, and it was fabulous. Everyone had their own space. The communication with the host was excellent the whole time anything we needed they were readily available and accommodating. we would love to come back
