Waterfront holiday rentals in Lake Wawasee

Great place in south bend! Right on the river so very peaceful area with parks in walking distance. I stayed there for a wedding at Notre Dame and it worked perfectly- super close to all the events and very easy to get in and out of.

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

We actually didn’t get to stay due to a family emergency, but the host was very understanding and supportive. I would recommend staying there even without seeing the place lol The instructions to get into the space were great and I can tell there would have been zero issues.

I mean, what can I say other than what a perfect place for our families. We rented all three apartments. The huge yard with swingset:slide/sandbox/ so many bikes to ride. Great pier, raft for the kids to play on. Great swimming area..sandy. Our two year old great grandson cried when it was time to leave!😥 Great firepit area. Mandy communicated very well.

Great host accommodated a late evening checkin and answered questions quickly and promptly!!

This was my second time staying here, we had a different unit which was just as good as the first. The place is clean, has everything you need and more.

Super clean and new space right in the heart of downtown South Bend. A stone’s throw from Corby’s! Host was extra helpful and picked up right away when I had a question checking in.

The most friendly hosts! The home is so clean, which is always important to our family. We visited in the Summer and it was nice to walk into a cool air conditioned home at the end of our day. We loved having dedicated parking spaces for 2 cars. There were lots of little extras in the home in case you leave something behind...like soap! The neighborhood is perfection, like a movie. Friendly and kind neighborhood. There is a ~3 mile loop around a stunning lake. Cars drive slowly as there are so many walkers, runners, bikers. Just truly wonderful. There was a coffee pot and a tea kettle, so many teas to choose from! The host not only provided canoes, kayaks and life vests, but she carried the canoe into the water! Honestly, these hosts go way beyond just being helpful. The beds were comfy, the fridge was clean, so many fresh towels. I hate that I have a character limit because I have so much to say. The price for this stay is more than reasonable. I would give more stars if I could

This place was amazing! The view and the multiple levels of patios to look across the river are unbeatable. Completely worth the trip and would like to come back. The only items are that it’s right on a busy road with no sidewalk, so you will have to drive to do anything beyond the home itself.

This place was amazing for our family vacation. The goal was to spend family time together & there was plenty for us all to do. Lots of outdoor activities in nature! The beach was great for adult hang-out & games of spike ball (which we brought), & fun in the sand for the kids. Loved our pontoon boat rides & campfires as well. The indoor pool was great anytime day & night & was always a good back up in case it we had rain. The common areas were large enough for us to all have space & there was plenty of sleeping room. We had an amazing time & will definitely revisit. Ryan was courteous & quick to respond. Absolutely loved this trip!

Melody's communication from the start was amazing. She left a binder with great instructions as well as recommendations. The home was filled with any kitchen supplies you would need, which was very helpful. It was me and 6 kids, they did not leave the pool or game room! We will absolutely visit again.

The hosts were extremely helpful and were more than accommodating for my friend’s bachelor party. I would most definitely stay there again.

Have stayed at multiple places hosted by Crystal. Always clean and as advertised. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This is a cute little cottage with a beautiful view of the lake. I will definitely be back!

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

We had an awesome stay at this cottage. Loved the screened in porch and relaxing with a beverage while we watched the lake. Bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom was stunning. Kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of the coffee station. Our pup was very appreciative that she could come with us. A great time was had by all.
