Monthly Rentals in Lake Whatcom

Gorgeous place - even nicer than the photos! Loved the hot tub and how peaceful and verdant it was on the back deck. Comfy beds too. We went for a mountain biking trip and the trails were close by. A great place for a true getaway! A surprisingly high-end convenient store is a quick drive away. Only downside is that the space doesn't have good sound insulation. My husband and I were hoping to spend one day working remotely, but it was hard for two of us to be in Zoom calls simultaneously. Internet was great, but very little sound insulation between rooms so it was hard to do the calls and not be disturbed by the other person. Just good to know if that's how you're hoping to use the space.

I’m in a long distance relationship and my partner and I like to do airbnbs during his visits here to check out different areas-I knew he would love the accessibility to the trails from Dawns house. My 6yr old son LOVED the downstairs and bunk bed despite how cold it was. The pellet stove was a bit intimidating to figure out so we left it alone. Downstairs did have a bit of a cat pee smell-my kiddo wasn’t bothered because his allergies were so bad he couldn’t smell (not a pet allergy, just the wild cottonwood this year), but it was hard for me to stay down there. The hot tub was an added bonus, it probably could’ve been cleaned a bit better before our stay but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall beautiful home and comfortable stay.

The stay was very nice. Home is comfortable and quiet. It was much nicer than the pictures we thought. Dawn had excellent communication and was very helpful to get a couple items left behind back to us. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend!

Very communicative host and wonderful place for a casual weekend getaway! Convenient access to town and local trails while still feeling away from it all.
