Beachfront holiday rental in Lake Winnipeg

Awesome location, I grew up in the area and being able to visit with such an awesome location was great. definitely recommend a few nights stay if you get a chance. Keith was really helpful and friendly, would definitely visit again in the future

My daughter, Mum and I stayed at Sandra and Scott's cottage during Gimli's Icelandic Festival on the August long weekend. Sandra and Scott have a beautiful property, the cottage is perched right on the lake and is private, quiet and peaceful. We spent the Saturday at the festival and the rest of the time just relaxing at this amazing cottage. We spent a lot of time out on the back deck, just enjoying the morning sunshine, coffee and a very comfortable patio furniture set up. We spent the afternoons reading a book on said patio furniture, walking down to the beach or having a siesta in the hammock. At night we made use of the fire pit and listened to the sounds of the waves as we indulged in toasted marshmallows and a whiskey neat. Truly could not have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing weekend, just what I needed. Sandra and Scott were also super-quick to respond when I had a question about their BBQ. Super friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks for an amazing weekend!

A beautiful location that is quite close to Winnipeg, comfortable inside, and has one of the best-stocked kitchens we have yet to come across at an AirBnB. We appreciated all the thoughtful additions (extra toiletries, snacks in the kitchen, a few cold beers in the fridge) and the immediate sense of being somewhere we could unwind. While the weather was wet, windy, and cold during our visit, we still had a great time and enjoyed the warmth of the cabin during the May Long Weekend.

We had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful place! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. We felt completely at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Very quiet and private spot with all the amenities you could ask for, especially if you have small kids. Convenient access to Gimli and Lake Winnipeg. We appreciated the detailed instructions and manual as well. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful place, we had all we needed and more for our short stay. The house was spacious and clean, cooking utensils and spices were well stocked. There were lots of games and things to do that we didn't even have a change to try out. Host was great and responded quickly when we had questions.

Amazing Space! Close to Winnipeg Beach and Gimli, but little village of Matlock is sweet little spot on its own! Truly relaxing space Notley Creek has built themselves, very much reminded me of Chalets in Ontario Cottage Country! We’re already considering doing a week here every Summer, really enjoyed the whole area’s vibe!!!

We stayed over the Thanksgiving long weekend and we were very happy. The pictures make it look a little smaller than it actually so that was a nice surprise. Nice deck and gazebo on the water side of the property and great view from the living room. Big well stocked kitchen with more than enough dinnerware and cookware, all in top notch shape. Kerry reached out to us a couple of days in advance with all the instructions we needed and was quick to reply to a couple of questions I had. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and incredible views of the lake. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The hosts were incredibly responsive, and their excellent communication made the entire process seamless and stress-free.

The place was easy to find, the location is great! Excellent view on the lake, the air is so clean! The inside is in good condition, cozy and filled with old-fashioned comfort, which we liked. We did not expect the boiler in one of the rooms - it created noises at night. All beds are queen size, comfy and clean. Bed sheets and towels are spotless! Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of movies and games! Donations for the fire wood had fixed price range mentioned in the guest book and an envelope - bring cash with you, because we didn't. The premises are clean and well-groomed. Do wear swim shoes, the lake shore near the house has stones. The water is shallow, some lake weed, and it's better to go further along the beach line for the clear water (approx. 300 meters ahead). Perfect for the kids! Ryan was polite and responsive, patient and answered all my questions in a timely manner! Will recommend this place for sure!

The place is exactly as pictured. The beach was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside watching the water and listening to the birds. Using the sauna and jumping in the lake was fantastic and recommended. What a great place. Lots of people were catching big fish all along shore.

We stayed in the lake cabin and absolutely loved it! So peaceful, quiet, and beautiful — the ideal place to unwind and take a break from the city. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the lake from the window and terrace was especially amazing — having morning coffee there was pure joy. Everything was well-organized, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We’ll definitely come back again.

We had a great Sept. long weekend stay. Beautiful view of the lake during the days and a roaring fire in the evening with a front row view of the northern lights was amazing. Every morning a 10 minute walk up the road and we had beachfront access with the dogs. Jodie is a wonderful and accommodating host which made experience worthwhile and enjoyable.

This is a beautiful cottage steps away from the Poplar St. pier and very close to the harbour and a hidden beach. Lovely place to relax.

This is a lovely spot! The big lake is just outside the cabin front. Hearing the waves pound the shoreline is a highlight for us. So restful. The cabin itself is large and comfy, with two upstairs deck to choose from. All in all, a gem!
