Our family wanted to go to lake Shasta, whiskeytown lake, the waterfalls and other types of things and we decided to stay in Redding. This location was perfect! It was right in the middle of everything. Lots of food options. Lots of things to do and the house was absolutely gorgeous. I was very pleased with how clean it was and the neighbors were also really nice. It had everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to go to any of the nearby lakes or waterfalls.

So grateful to have a peaceful and cozy place to stay near Mount Shasta. It was extra special to stay in a place that felt more like a home than staying at a hotel. I really enjoyed how clean the entire place was and how comfortable the bed was. If you’ve looking for something private with beautiful nature this is the place.

No photos can do justice to this wonderful, wonderful house. The location is perfect—you get a stunning view of Mt. Shasta, and the ability to see so many stars at night is absolutely mind-blowing! Not to mention how cozy the house is—beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. My friends and I are so thankful the universe led us to Janet's house; it truly was the cherry on top of our trip to Mt. Shasta. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Clean, cozy cabin that was close to the outdoor activities that brought us to the Mt Shasta area. I would highly recommended and would stay thier again if I was in the area.

We enjoyed our long weekend in the bungalow! The place was just as described, and Brandy was very responsive before and during our stay. The area is very residential, but not far (a 20+ minute walk down a hill) from restaurants and downtown Redding. All essential amenities were available, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer on the back deck.

LOVED the place. We were two people (were expecting a third), but this place was perfect. You can view mount shasta right from this, and its walking distance to the fifth season (where you can rent all your hiking equipment. When I come back to Shasta with more people, we will rent the whole house so that we can have the second back unit as well. Overall, super cozy and homey! Would 100% stay here again

The chalet was beautiful and the pride of ownership really shines. Larry and Christie keep the property looking green and lush, even in the dry summer. We loved spending time in the enclosed garden with our dog, and the open plan setup downstairs makes for a great gathering space. The pool/spa enclosed deck/patio is stunning, and the water was sparkling clean making for an enticing dip! Our kids loved the pool toys and we appreciated the thoughtful set up. There is no shortage of places to sit on this beautiful property. One morning we tried out the Blackstone grill and loved the breakfast experience. The weather was hot during our stay, but the AC inside was nice and cool. It can be a bit buggy in the evenings so pick up some citronella bracelets to wear in the evenings. I loved stargazing on the back deck. The host has a variety of magical lights and bug zappers set up on automatic that make the outdoor space stunning at night too. We enjoyed our first trip up to Shasta Lake!

It was beautiful , so comfy and relaxing. There are so much room for all ages and rooms for the guys to be loud and have fun at the same time there were others in another room watching a movie. the pool was perfect. definitely recommend it for a nice family vacation. closed to the shasta lake for my kayak and plenty of room for parking.

This cabin was very beautiful and fitted our needs for our weekend getaway. It’s very beautiful inside and the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend this to anybody who’s looking to stay at Mount Shasta. The mornings are absolutely peaceful and quiet. And the nights are very quiet also.

I had a great time with my family at Alex’s lovely home. I decided to plan a last minute getaway to celebrate a couple of graduations and just to get away - Alex’s place was perfect. We did exactly what we went for - swam and relaxed. Very nice home and pool. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We got take out a couple of nights and the places we chose were great and very close to Alex’s. His instructions were easy and straightforward. Easy communication. I would happily stay again and would highly recommend.

Awesome. The pool was exceptionally fantastic. The outdoor tables and sofa were great. We had a memorable family weekend at this place. The home is off the beaten path, in that it is down a gravel road. There are no restaurants or shops to walk to, so you have to like country living to rent this place. There were deer and squirrels visiting. Yet, it was about three minutes from the freeway (which was barely audible). The pool is enclosed in a sturdy steel fence. Our dog loved it here. The kitchen was well stocked. I recommend renting a boat on Shasta Lake from Anklers, about a 10 minute drive from this place.

This was such a gem of an Airbnb! The host truly thought of everything and the space was perfect. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and well kept. My family enjoyed the pool and patio area for hours on end. The home was so clean and had everything we needed from Tupperware to spices. Suzie was a super responsive host, who was very accommodating and replied right away if I had a question. My family and I will be looking to book this Airbnb again! 10/10 experience!

Our host, Christie, was great-she was super friendly and came right out when we had minor issue. Property is great! Two master suites that open ont the patio! So much storage in each bedroom. Lots of simple extra touches-sunscreen in the towel basket, firewood & starter for fire pit, games, books, pool toys provided & air compressor for the inflatables we brought, nicely stocked kitchen with basics+, instructions were clear and basic (not overwhelming/over detailed). ** It was like walking into a friend's home. Welcoming & not stuffy/formal. Perfect for "real families" ** Our family was able to relax, splash, play pool, enjoy meals together inside and outside, and not stress about anything in our surroundings! We are already planning our next adventure here!

Surrounded by natural beauty. Great for star gazing. Beautiful roses. Quirky. Needs updating. Fed by natural spring so water high quality but very low water pressure. Hosts very proactive and communicative. Enjoyed the lizards and wildlife that joined us on the porch to sunbathe and enjoy our morning coffee.

Private, serene, and breathtakingly gorgeous are the words I’d use to describe Leah’s place. Keith, her father is as friendly as a teddy bear and upon checking in made us feel very welcome and safe. We 100% will come back to stay here again. If you’re looking for camping without all the frustration of setting a tent and bed up and all that, plus like to shower and use a real toilet, you can’t beat this place. A true gem in the trinity mountains. Nothing was left out, we had everything we needed and then some. Thank you guys for a new favorite place to escape the crazy world. -The Powers Family

This house is amazing. Very beautiful and well kept. Plenty of room for our large group. This house is a perfect oasis for a cabin retreat. Definitely recommend. The host was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Tim’s place was exactly as described! Perfect place to unwind and enjoy some fishing at a few spots close by. The views from the deck are amazing, great spot to start the day with a cup of coffee and unbelievable star gazing at night. Would definitely recommend Ivan’s Lookout for relaxing time in a beautiful location in Northern California.

we are so excited when we got the warm welcome from Kristina on arrival. She even put the air conditioner on before we checked in. Really nice hostess she is. The house is well equipped both the kitchen and bathroom. A whole package of dishes and kitchen items, we feel just like at home. We are pretty sure that this is the perfect place to stay while in the city of Redding. Thanks Kristina!
