Monthly Rentals in Lakkoi

We were allowed to spend 7 days in the accommodation. The apartment's furnishings even exceeded the description. From juice press, 2 TVs to the washing machine, everything is available. We were particularly impressed by the orange, mandarin and lemon trees that we were allowed to use every day.

Dimitris has always been available and responsive in times of need. Villa Eleni is lovely. The area where it is located is very cool and quiet. The pool is perfect. Like all the wonders of Crete, it must be conquered, in fact the access road is very steep but still passable with caution. There were 5 of us and we were very happy. Villa Eleni TOP!

We stayed here for 6 weeks and it was sheer heaven. The scenery and views are breath-taking, the villa is so comfortable, a real home. Antonis and Voula are the best hosts we have ever stayed with, their kindness and generosity was overwhelming. They made our stay even more special, with recommendations of where to visit, the sights, beaches and places of interest. The villa is peacefully located in the white mountains, with the village 2 mins drive, 15 mins walk. The botanical gardens, which are fabulous, are 10 mins drive down towards Chania. Chania is 30 mins drive and is a lovely, bustling town with lovely cobbled streets and a fantastic Venetian harbour. I would highly recommend the villa, especially if you want the peace and tranquillity of the mountains combined with the convenience of the beaches and the busy resorts 25 mins drive away.

Lovely mountain cottage with a breathtaking view to wake up to each morning! great area for trekking, birdwatching and the Samaria Gorge. Communication was excellent and we experienced a very prompt response to a minor issue. If you are looking for a comfortable stay in the Crete mountains I recommend this place. The only thing I would say is dont arrive in the dark! The mountain roads are fine - well maintained and good width, but the tiny road / driveway to the cottage is dangerous (with a sheer drop) and tricky to reverse out of! Otherwise, all good 👍
