Stonehouse Cottage

Mike and SandyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Hello, This was our home for approximately 5 weeks. From the moment we got there, we were received like family. Sarah and Mike were very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. I would highly recommend this home for either short term or long term. The location is amazing, right on the river with access to a beautiful dock. Thank you so much Sarah and Mike for being such great hosts. Hoping to come back some day. Cheers!

Zen oasis for larger gatherings or retreats

VirginiaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

Peaceful cabin escape close to golf and skiing.

5 Stars – A Perfect Riverside Getaway! This cabin was everything we hoped for and more — beautiful, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. Nestled right by the river, it offered the perfect escape with calming views and serene sounds of nature. Every detail in the cabin was so well thought out and perfectly put together, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The host was absolutely amazing — friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining this special place. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we’re already planning our next visit!

Bright & Private Two Bdrm Suite (Basement)

CoreyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family had a wonderful stay at Ashley’s. The space was exactly as described. Lots of space for the kids to play. It did not seem like a basement space at all, very bright. We highly recommend this place for a one night stay or multi night! Ashley was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had, she gave clear instructions for entry and outlined what the space came with and any add on features.

'Isle of Skye' in Quebec. Unique ecological site.

William's Cottage at Fraser's Point is secluded, safe and peaceful on a well groomed lawn sloping to the River. The St. Lawrence River air is fresh and clean with a light breeze fluttering the leaves of the ancient oaks and maples as it drifts through the screened windows on all four sides of the cottage. A huge wrap-around deck and a wall of windows and patio doors allows for a panoramic view of the the River's abundant birds and Seaway Laker Ships. The cottage was very inviting with a dining table for 6, reclining sofas and rocking chairs on a faux hardwood floor. The queen beds were comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen was clean with everything we needed to cook and dine in. Shower was good. Washer and dryer. Plenty of electrical outlets. Good lighting. Safe parking. Hiking within the Point and nearby Nature Reserves. Added bonus was enjoying the unobstucted sunsets of the warm September evenings, the partial eclipse of the moon and the bright moonlit nights.
