A beautifully peaceful spot to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks on the farm, and stargazing from the hot tub. The accommodation was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom was neat with a large shower.

Lovely place to stay. Great for two legged and your legged kids! and very convenient location.

Such a lovely Eco-friendly cottage in the most beautiful location. Fully fenced if you are taking doggo's along, with amazing walking routes on the farm. Could stay here for weeks! Friendly hosts and a little shop on the farm too, selling their local trout products.

We loved our stay at Hanepoot cottage. Rina provides everything you need from extra blankets to firewood to tea and coffee, milk and water. Beds were comfy and the shower great. We loved the location, such great views of the mountains. We had a little trouble with the WiFi which Rina tried her best to resolve, but I would suggest making sure you have mobile data just in case you need it. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommend.

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

We had an amazing time staying at Leon's place over the Easter weekend. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Amazing views of the Hemel en Aarde valley from the pool or hot tub. We'll definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Boskloof Farm very much. It was a bigger group, the old farm house has everything you need. Would definitely recommend it, and lots to explore with a bicycle. The hosts have thought about everything. Hope to be back soon!

We wanted to get away from absolutely anything to do with the city life and that’s exactly what we got. Our dogs went with and had the best time and we didn’t have to worry about vehicles or leaving a door open. Thank you.. we got the break we needed as a family.

We were looking for a relaxing girls' weekend away, somewhere peaceful and far from the city—and this place was absolutely perfect. While it’s ideally suited for a romantic couple’s retreat, it worked wonderfully for us too. The space was charming, cozy, and exactly what we needed. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. ♡

We really enjoyed the cottage, it's more spacious than expected! The nature around is incredibly peaceful and beautiful and you are able to enjoy the view from the hot tub. We walked the hiking trail and the farm walk and both were incredibly beautiful, I really recommended doing them. The inside fireplace is big and really heats up the space, perfect for reading a book or playing games during the winter months!

Amelia's has a beautiful place just outside Bonnievale, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Everything was very well-prepared for our arrival with thoughtful extras that made us feel welcome. The space was exceptionally clean. The only downside was that the main bedroom’s bathroom is connected without a door that can close, which we personally dislike. Amelia’s willingness to accommodate a special request speaks to how great a host she is.

Has so many different spaces to utilise, from an undercover braai, to an outside braai, to an indoor fireplace. Also multiple picnic spots next to the river. Had an amazing time :)

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Perfect place to have a relaxing weekend and we felt right at home on the farm. The complimentary bread, rusks and milk was a nice touch!

My boyfriend and i went here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations, the best cabin we have been to yet! Absolutely breathtaking and such a beautiful place to go and relax.

We had the most wonderful stay! The views are incredible, the house is cosy and comfortable. We had everything we needed and the location is central enough to get to different activities during the day. Perfect location, close to town but still far away so that you could relax. Farm is beautiful, with an amazing spot to have sundowners while surrounded by the majestic Franschoek mountains. Manager was responsive, super helpful and flexible.

Really wish we’d booked for longer. A beautiful, quiet oasis with phenomenal grounds, and great views. I was able to ‘power-down’ here and get some much needed rest. We couldn’t get the hot-tub fired up, which was a shame as the starry night’s would have been even more magical. Staff were really helpful and responsive when approached. They went out of their way when our car battery died - hunting down cables & removing the battery from their own car to give us a ‘jump start’. Thank you!! I’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful home in an amazing location. Felt right at home - house is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street to feel very private but all within walking distance of anything you need. Jan was a great host and so was Eric who looked after us very well. Will def be back for future trips.

We were a group of 11 adults and 5 toddlers. This house was amazing! We've been organising one weekend away per year with the same group for the last 5 years. We've never stayed at the same house more than once, but this house will most definitely see us again soon!

We had a truly wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful greenery and the many trees surrounding the house. It created such a peaceful, natural atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Alida went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and she was always available if we had any questions. The location was serene and perfectly situated for exploring the area. Highly recommended :) we’d love to come back!

William is a great communicator, we had all the instructions on how to get to Fonteinskloof and who to speak to on arrival. Everything was as advertised. The onsite Manager Michael was super welcoming and helpful, we felt at home very quickly. Michael checked in with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful. Zebra, waterbuck, blue wildbeest and Oryx were visible from the accommodation. Two walking trails were clearly marked. The unit was spotless, the beds super comfortable, beautiful bathroom. Braai facilities and wood was available and also a wood fire inside for heat. There is a games room with a pool table, foosball table and TV. There is a beautiful pool with a kids jungle gym and trampoline. 10 minutes from Swellendam. Will definitely be visiting again. It was beautiful and super relaxing.

As we arrived we felt the peacefulness that the home and surroundings brought. Christine was an amazing host, extremely informative and sent us all the activities in the area. As you arrive you are welcomed by complimentary wine and bread, the views are breathtaking and the accommodation itself was extremely clean and neat! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!
