The town of Rodez is 30 min away. Very good for shopping and also a cultural visit at the Musée Soulages. But you might just like to come and rest & enjoy some nice walks & beautiful views .

Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Our accommodation is conveniently located whether you want to enjoy the beaches (10 min drive, beach bus 3 min), the hinterland or the nearby Camargue, we are very close to the highway exit and the beach road (300 m). Your access to the accommodation will be easy whether you come by car (free parking) or train (bus stop for the train station at the foot of the building). The historic center is easily accessible in less than 10 minutes by bus or bike, 15/20 minutes on foot

Cabane

Round room set in the holm oaks above the stream with a suspended terrace. Bathtub, toilet, sink, double bed. The cabin is located above the Lou Abeilhs farmhouse with a bird's eye view of the valley. To access it from the parking lot there is a small path of 150 m and about forty steps. An outdoor kitchen, to share, is at your disposal. By clicking on our profile, the small round photo of Clotilde and me, you will have an overview of the other cottages we offer.

Our accommodation with an equipped kitchen is reserved for you. It overlooks the Pont du Diable, and has exceptional views of our authentic landscapes. I would bring you a breakfast tray with fruit juice and homemade jam, bread, croissant, fruit and yogurt. This entire independent accommodation offers you all the comforts you need for a peaceful break, whether for a weekend or an extended stay. What could be better than being a stone's throw from the centre while being in a quiet place to enjoy a warm atmosphere, a pleasant outdoor space with swimming pool, a terrace to relax, relax, read a book, take in the sun... very enjoyable after a day of walking.
