Townhouse holiday rentals in Languedoc-Roussillon

EXCELLENT Just stayed here in Carcassonne for 3 nights, and the accommodation was excellent. It is situated about 10 minute drive from the airport, and the host was waiting to greet us, and show us around. The property is great with comfy beds and 2 separate toilets and another in the downstairs en suite bedroom. A huge open plan lounge and kitchen area awaits, and the whole place has lots of character, and is very well equipped with everything you are likely to need. There is a huge garage area attached too, which I believe you can park your car. The location is ideal, Town square with lots of restaurants is only 10 min walk, but there are many bars and other restaurants within minutes too. The castle is about 25 min stroll away, and train station about 15 min walk. There are plenty of taxis close by too, if required. Communication with Stefan was very quick. I definitely recommend staying here. Thank you.

Great stay! The Airbnb is in a quiet location, and we have access to the tram on foot (the city center is 20 minutes away). The Airbnb is clean and tidy, there is a lot of equipment and a great terrace! Isabelle was very kind and attentive, always ready to answer our requests and questions! I highly recommend :)

The home was beautiful and in a great central location. Owners were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. Would recommend!

We spent two nights with my husband in Guillaume's apartment. It's great for a weekend in Sète. The city is very pretty (restaurant, beach, bar, etc.). The only downside for us was the parking (free area) for the car. But reasonable, we had to explore the surrounding alleys a few times. We had little contact with the hosts except for check-in and check-out but they are warm and give good tips for discovering the city. Small bonus point for the decor, very pretty :)

We stayed for a week, the apartment is on the second floor of an 18th century stone town house in the heart of Nimes. Marie-Laure lives on the ground floor. She greeted us and introduced us to the apartment and its workings, fortunately she speaks good English which compensated for our poor French. She was always available but never intrusive. The location means that there are multiple cafes/restaurants & bars within a few minutes walk. We visited Les Halles and Carrefour (both within 5 mins walk) daily so cooked in the apartment. The kitchen is very generously equipped. The local bar, Annaba, is a lovely place for an early evening drink but be aware that one of the bedrooms, overlooking the bar, can be quite noisy until c11pm. The air conditioning in the apartment is very efficient and was very welcome.

A charming home! Perfection for 3 F senior friends who each had their own bedroom. Area very quiet in evening/night. Great base for road tripping the local towns. Eric and Aline very helpful with suggestions as where to visit. Eric responded quickly to questions we had. 2 flights of stairs to the 2 bedrooms and another to top floor bedroom so not for bad knees. Good railings for support. We are from 🇨🇦 so loved our time here in this old city and the beautiful historic home!

Anne and Richard are extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts. The accommodation is ideally located near the train station, and allows access to the city center of Avignon in about ten minutes on foot. It remains cool despite the heat of the day and is very quiet, which is very appreciable!

What a wonderful stay in St Remy. The car park is not too far and once you are settled in the city is yours to explore. We loved the simple touches in the house and had everything we needed. Thank you.

The apartment is truly wonderful, a private space with wonderful views. It felt more like staying with friends than a rental with a homely feel and decor touches. We will be going again.

Beautiful house, exactly matches the description, very clean, very modern small pool largely sufficient to cool off, all the amenities available whether it be towels, deckchairs, dishes, pots really everything. the host was not there but was very responsive on airbnb, easy to access and I really recommend this accommodation we were 9 and it was perfect!!! don't hesitate and have no fears

Nathalie’s home in Lourmarin was beautiful, peaceful, and very well located. My Mom and I spent 4 nights here in the village for our “girls trip” and I can’t imagine a more beautiful village. It is so small that you can walk the length and breadth in 15 minutes. For our low key and slow paced vacation it was perfect! An afternoon excursion to the Chateau was well worth it, as it is also ridiculously close. Food and shopping in the village was also super fun - We must have gone to Cafe Gabby 3 times because it was so good, but Nonni (pizza + pasta) is literally steps away from home and also delicious. I came down with some sort of virus our last day there unfortunately, and Nathalie was sweet to offer a recommendation for a doctor if I needed. Luckily I just needed rest. My only recommendation to the host would be to provide more towels and toilet paper, as this is a basic necessity/amenity, but maybe that’s the American in me ;) Thank you Nathalie for a wonderful stay!

A real gem nestled in the heart of the Vallons des Auffes! We fell in love with this charming little house, ideally located close to the port. The place is quiet, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped. Special mention for the swimming pool, a real luxury in the heart of Marseille — ideal for cooling off after a day of walking. Everything is designed to make you feel good: comfortable bedding, practical kitchenette, pleasant small terrace... and this typical and authentic atmosphere of the neighborhood, between sea, sun and picturesque alleys. The host was welcoming, available and very attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We leave conquered by this little corner of paradise, with the desire to return very soon. An address to keep precious!

The house and terrace were beautiful, comfortable, tasteful and well equipped and provided a great base from which to explore the beautiful town of Uzès and the surrounding countryside. Maria greeted us with warmth and Stephanie was responsive and friendly throughout. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay at Eve’s house and it was perfect a perfect location to be able to walk into the centre of Perpignan. Perpignan itself is a great place to access other areas of France and Spain via train, so that was a big tick. The house was clean, spacious, safe and quiet and Eve was great on giving clear housekeeping instructions, tips on where to explore the local area and places to eat. She also went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our luggage. We would highly recommend staying at Eve’s accommodation.

The accommodation is very beautiful and clean, it is a very soothing place and Olivier is always responsive in case of problems. I recommend it a thousand times!

like at home, we love going to Elise and Philippe's house because it is a home, we can rest and disconnect, the place is very quiet, the town is beautiful and the plus of going with our pets and the flexible entrance being able to leave Spain after work. They make it the ideal resting place for us. We'll go whenever we can

The house is tucked away in a quiet little backstreet in the middle of this romantic old town. It is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Everything can be reached easily on foot and there is free parking at the school only 5 mins away. We didn‘t get to meet Karine personally but the communication and the checkin over Airbnb worked perfectly. We will definitely come again the next time we are in the Provence!

We had a wonderful stay at Andréa’s home. Everything was exactly as described and we truly enjoyed our time here. It is such a unique space — right near the city center and walkable to everything, yet extremely quiet and almost feels like a charming country home. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space in the mornings and evenings. We didn’t want to leave and would love to come back for a longer stay next time! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Montpellier.

A real Airbnb accommodation with a soul! Rachel greeted us in person with great kindness in this beautiful townhouse that she renovated and decorated herself with great taste. It's hard to be more charming, from the terrace from the ground floor to the upstairs terrace, through the small living room, the comfortable layout and full of small details makes you want to stay at home all day, regardless of the weather. The location is however perfect to enjoy the pretty village of Tautavel and the surroundings, between vines, gorges and Cathar castles perched on the cliffs. Thank you so much Rachel!

As other guests have noted, the aesthetic of this apartment is beautifully curated. The photos do not capture the artistic flare of the interior, and multiple living spaces. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals using fresh local ingredients. There is a shaded courtyard terrace for alfresco dining. The apartment does not have a/c (which is noted). The interior remained pleasant until the recent heatwave when temperatures were in the mid-90’s (30’s) and the top two floors became too warm for us, but with the fan the ground floor bedroom remained cool enough for sleeping. We highly recommend this apartment!

We had a very pleasant stay at David's accommodation, the accommodation was clean, the environment is quiet and peaceful, David is very kind and made several recommendations and informed us well about the hikes and activities to do. It was very appreciable!

Perfect location for exploring Les Plus Beaux Villages! The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and refreshingly cool. Valérie is the most attentive host, really responsive and made excellent recommendations for restaurants, vineyards and other places of interest, all were fabulous. We loved every minute of our first visit to Provence and will definitely return
