Cottage holiday rentals in Lanjarón

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

Carmen is very very friendly and helpful. She responds very quickly to messages. We received a warm welcome with a nice fruit basket and explanation of how everything works. Lovely house to recover and celebrate holidays and therefore definitely recommended. The only downside is poor road surface on the way there and navigation actually indicates a different location. I think the road is better accessible with a terrain wagon or car with 4 wheel drive.

It was very nice. We loved being there. Just the „street“ leading there was tough.

Amazing place,terrace with extraordinary views

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Casa Anna Maria was the perfect place for us providing peace, tranquility and the most beautiful scenery. The home has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, it exceeded all our expectations.

José was an amazing host, always responsive and the villa was unbelievable. The views were incredible and everything matched the pictures so perfectly but was even more spacious than we thought. Would come back again and recommend to anyone 100%

Casa Alicia is the perfect place to stay for those who like peace and beautiful nature, which is unique especially in the spring. We had a nice weather in April, and there was a sunny weather with both dazd and cold, but that's not the host's fault. I recommend this place for those who are looking for peace and quiet. Zoltan

This is our second stay at Jasmine Azul. Yet again a lovely holiday with everything we needed. The villa is so homely with great views and amazing outside space. Monica is a great host, always responsive and super friendly. 😎

Our stay at Cortijo los Chinos was wonderful and very relaxing.

Catalina’s place and Frigiliana itself are wonderful spaces. Could not fault the comms. The house is in a quiet space and well looked after. The one thing to suggest would be the introduction of air con. As it was 39/40 degrees in June, this would have been much welcomed. Given the need to maintain the historic infrastructure of the buildings in Frigiliana, this is clearly a tricky position to navigate. A general note to anyone wishing to visit Frigiliana is that this is, at its heart, a beautiful, historic, hillside town. This requires carrying of luggage some distance (wherever you stay in town…) so this needs to be factored in. Given the above, if you want a space to explore the town and the coast at Nerja, do consider Catalina’s space to do so…

A little slice of heaven. It truly was perfection, from the moment we booked to the moment we left, we felt it was a home away from home. Bruno and Gert were the perfect hosts, we stayed in the studio near the pool, and it was fully equipped with everything we could need or want. It truly was a fantastic experience staying here and we will 100% be back. I couldn’t finish this review without a special mention to the 4 doggies, who made this stay extra special for us and made us want to spend more time in the villa to spend time with the doggies. The house is situated in a small, quiet suburb near Granada and is a very nice place to stay with special stalk. It is equipped with everything you could ever need and very well maintained. We lacked nothing. You feel right at home. On the roof terrace you have a beautiful view over the area and the mountains in the background. The house has a small disadvantage for people who have difficulties in climbing the stairs, as these are very narrow and steep. But this wasn't a problem for us. At the moment (May 2023), the spot in front of the house is being renovated and it can lead to an increased noise. We were always on the road early, so we didn't mind much. The neighborhood is very friendly. For breakfast, there is a delicious bakery right around two corners. For me, staying there is a recommendation for people who want to escape the stress

We had a great stay in the apartment of Cortes. We were lucky that we were the only ones so we had the whole venue for ourselves. The house has thick walls so that means that it is cool inside. Also it is up on a hill which makes temperature nice during hot summer days. The house is in a quite residential area nearby Padul. You definitely need a car to go around. There is a Spar supermarket nearby. Padul is a small town in the province with some shops, bars and restaurants. Nice to have your coffee there in the morning. Cortes reacts very fast and comes up with suggestions in Granada or other places. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Granada this is your place to be!

What a fantastic place with amazing surroundings. We loved it so much. The incredible views, the lovely various cosy places to sit outside and chill at the pool or BBQ. Hiking up the mountain behind the house was a surprising lovely walk with a perfect 360 view on top. Amazing mango trees everywhere and lovely flowers all around. We just love this Andalusian hidden gem!

This is a beautiful, unique, peaceful spot, with a wonderful history, and an excellent restaurant at your doorstep.

A little difficult to find if you arrive after dark, but very detailed and easy to follow instructions. Absolutely stunning views. Beautiful location and house. The hole family really enjoyed the stay from the little ones to the grandparents. Some great local restaurants and bars but by far our favourite was the Mambo on Toronto beach, only about a 5 minute drive when you get of the mountain track. 100% would stay again and will definitely recommend to all.

We were warmly received by Reijer. As a welcome, there was also a good bottle of wine, which we enjoyed at sunset on the terrace. In front of the house a large lemon grove...the smell was beguiling! The start was just perfect! The casita is beautiful and stylishly decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you could need. We enjoyed the opportunity to relax both on the terrace with great views and in the beautiful green courtyard. Even before arrival, Reijer recommended various hikes to us and otherwise, communicating with him was always helpful, nice and immediate. The bed was very comfortable with a good mattress and in the morning the view from the bed from the window to the mountains can't be beat 👍 We 100% recommend the casita.
