Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

We had a great stay. The place is beautiful, quiet and surrounded by nature. The house is very well cared for, well equipped and very comfortable. Very responsive and friendly host, always responded promptly to all our concerns. I would definitely go back there.

Everything was really good. Easy to find, easy communication and a relaxing environment. Also the sauna was a big plus. We can really recommend staying here :)

A beautiful villa in a stunning setting. Would love to return one day.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about a 15-minute drive away. But with appropriate planning, that's no problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

We had a great time at Eija's place. It's as nice as the pictures suggest and a good starting place for exploring northern Finland. As a general tip, I'd recommend traveling by car, then you can easily reach several national parks and other sights in the area, as well as Rovaniemi. The area is calm, the frozen lake and snowy scenery make for a serene retreat. Eija was always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

The place is really bigger in real life! Beautiful view, we were able to see some northern lights on the 31st! Arto is very responsive! I recommend it. ☺️

We loved the place, near Ruka skiing place and near Kuusamo also. You can find everything you need for the stay. We come in low season so almost everywhere is closed, but thanks to the place we have so many spices to cook. Good value 👍🏻

The cabin was clean and cosy. It is about 15 mins driveble distance – northwest of Ivalo. The cabin is in a quite and beautiful area. The location is very nice – Lake Inari view. During winter when the lake is frozen, you can even walk on the lake – directly from the pier at the cabin. Aino (host) is super helpful and very responsive to any inquiries.

Wonderful stay in Lapland and the apartment is warm, clean and very functional. Niina and Heini are adorable and very responsive if you have any problems or questions. Also very well located you are a 10 min walk from shops and the city center. We are delighted with our stay in Rovaniemi and leave with the stars in our eyes. Thanks to Niina and Heini

This place was heaven! It had all the facilities and things we hoped for a relaxing holiday. Sauna, jacuzzi. View of the lake, peace and tranquility. The first two days of our trip we were really stressed as the airport had lost our luggage but i have to say coming back to this place, really made us forget about all our problems.

We spent our honeymoon in this beautiful cottage. Marja was always responsive, whether before the trip for preparation or during the stay. She recommended many places to us and we were never disappointed! As for the cottage, it is perfect, comfortable and functional (apart from the absence of a shower). It is well arranged and the nature around is magical. The listing photos are good but the cottage is even better in real life! It was a really wonderful week that will have marked us forever.

The cottage perfectly met our needs and was in a really good location. The tea rake was a great home base for our family's vacation activities. A big thank you to the host!

The house is amazing and had everything we needed to feel at home. Very cozy and clean, beautiful location and very quite in the middle of nature, close to beautiful national parks and loads to do. We had such a nice stay and highly recommend the place. And Francine is a great host who helped a lot with many nice recommendations.

We thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent at Olli and Una’s cabin. The cabin is very cozy - we built fires every night that we were there with the firewood that was provided. The cabin is at the end of the road so it was very peaceful. We ate our breakfast in the cabin very day and felt that the kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable!

We absolutely loved it! The cabin is totally homely and invites you to cozy games afternoons in front of the flickering oven. The kitchen is well equipped, even basic food such as flour, tea, various Spices, pasta, rice, etc. were available. Not unimportant if the nearest supermarket is 70km away. The lake is less than a five minute walk away, a perfect spot to look at the aurora lights. Unobstructed view in all directions, as far as the clouds allow ;-) No noteworthy light pollution in the area, a dream. Tero recommended various activities on request, so we met Janne, the reindeer in Unari. This was truly a special experience to stand among hundreds of reindeer who have been fuming around the food like wild. We felt like we were in an animal documentary;-) So if you like it secluded, this is the place to be:-D

A really great house! We were there for three nights with our two small children and everyone (adults and children) felt very comfortable and nothing was missing. The house is super equipped, with a really great spa area, a really well-equipped kitchen and so on. The area is quite nice. You can walk directly from the house, but you can also quickly get to the city to do something. We would recommend it to anyone!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and very beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

Tainas and Taistos lovely little place is an amazing survival experience. We really enjoyed our retreat-like silent and peacefull visit. The cottages are small but if You are two people or even alone if You dare, outside and nature is the thing here. When the entertainment, buzyness, internet and restlessness is taken off your life for a while, You can deeply appriciate the silence and the nature and our origins once more.
