We were delighted with our stay at Fedora's. The house is richly decorated, comfortable with magnificent views of the mountains. Fedora welcomed us very warmly and offered us delicious sweets upon arrival. The village is very beautiful and refreshing with good restaurants. Thank you very much!

We stayed with Paola for two weeks, using her B&B as a base from which to explore Abruzzo. Paola speaks little English. My wife and I speak less Italian. Translation apps on our phones worked well and communication was not a problem. Paola provided useful and accurate recommendations on places to eat. The B&B was exceptionally clean, the breakfasts were delicious and the views from our room and Paola’s gardens are spectacular. We used the fireplace twice. Both times it was cleaned and replenished with logs and kindling the very next morning. The B&B has been modernized in a way that does not to detract from the building’s character. For example, our room had thermostatically controlled radiant heat concealed behind ancient appearing walls. The plumbing is elegant and very modern. The lighting is a bit sparse. The B&B’s location is in an old hamlet of narrow streets that lies five miles up a narrow windy mountain road. if you love that sort of thing, as we do, it’s perfect.

Davide, truly represents Sulmona hospitality; the B&B reflects days by gone, in a sophisticated manner that encourages their guests to experience medieval royalty! The Roman acqauduct winds itself through the building, simply amazing! Several of the rooms have balconies facing the formidbale piazza, perfect for watching the world go by and the sky up above. The rooftop terrazza is the orange slice in your Spritz, it's can't get any better than this!

Great place for hiking. It was beautiful peaceful place, with fantastic views. Marco didn’t speak any English and advised him of this and communication was made via translation app. He was very accommodating . I would definitely recommend using the light in the dark stairwell of the apartment , as it is very dark without use of the light. The breakfast was traditional Italian and homemade by Marco himself. It was quite delicious ! The use of the kitchen was very convenient and a benefit-it was well stocked for any cooking needs.

Attilio is a very accommodating and helpful host. The accommodation is very quiet and centrally located. The old town can be reached within a few minutes. We will be happy to come back.

Speaking honestly, I wasn't sure what, exactly, to expect when we booked Abruzzo Segreto B&B. Part of this may just be my own paranoia to places and circumstances outside the norm. Well, let me assure you, the experience was altogether delightful! Francesca and Jimmy greeted us as if we were tired, wayward travelers stopping who finally arrived (which we were) or even long lost friends which, by the end of the stay, we certainly felt like. They helped us carry our luggage in, offered my dad and I a nice, cold beer and lots of wonderful conversation. They're chock full of information on the area and various tips to find and do whatever you want or need to. Here's a tip from my family and I: Don't hesitate to stay here -- Abruzzo is a wonderful, serene part of Italy tucked away and welcoming to all who come there. Here's a second tip: I believe elsewhere people have written about how awesome Francesca and Jimmy's breakfasts are and I can tell you they're no joke. You won't leave the breakfast table hungry or deprived of warmth and charm from Abruzzo Segreto B&B! We'll be back!!!

The location of the place is the top for hiking in this part of Abruzzo: central to beautiful and unique places! The room and amenities are nice, comfortable, and pleasant. The added value, however, is undoubtedly Letizia, an impeccable host, full of resources, very friendly and welcoming: from early morning smile to availability for tips on what to visit, what to do and what scenic roads to face, all with a great sense of respect and privacy, never intrusive, always with availability and friendliness. Tip!

We had a beautiful stay

We stayed in Rocca Calascio, a panoramic and very evocative place a half-hour drive from Letizia's B&B. The next day we visited L'Aquila, which can be reached in 40 minutes by car from there. Great breakfast with everything you need. I point out the handmade cakes from Letizia that were exquisite like her hospitality. We'll definitely be back thissummer for a hike on the Gran Sasso.

Perfect stay! The property is cozy, clean and well located. The owner was very kind and available. Highly recommended, if there is an opportunity we will definitely be back!

New and clean structure...with exposed beams! Clean bathroom...in the middle of the eagle! Our host clearly explained every detail to us! I recommend it to those staying in the eagle!
