Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in L'Aquila

Igor è un super host: oltre ad essere sempre disponibile e gentilissimo è molto preparato e informato su tutte le attivitá che si possono fare in zona, estate/inverno! La casa in legno che dire... una favola! Pulizia, colazione 🤤 , bellezza, comodità, vicina a tutti i comprensori sciistici: voto 10/10. Torneremo sicuramente🫶

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour chez Fedora. La maison est richement décorée, confortable avec une magnifique vue sur les montagnes. Fedora nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et elle nous a offert de délicieuses sucreries à notre arrivée. Le village est très beau et ressourçant avec de bons restaurants. Merci beaucoup !

We stayed with Paola for two weeks, using her B&B as a base from which to explore Abruzzo. Paola speaks little English. My wife and I speak less Italian. Translation apps on our phones worked well and communication was not a problem. Paola provided useful and accurate recommendations on places to eat. The B&B was exceptionally clean, the breakfasts were delicious and the views from our room and Paola’s gardens are spectacular. We used the fireplace twice. Both times it was cleaned and replenished with logs and kindling the very next morning. The B&B has been modernized in a way that does not to detract from the building’s character. For example, our room had thermostatically controlled radiant heat concealed behind ancient appearing walls. The plumbing is elegant and very modern. The lighting is a bit sparse. The B&B’s location is in an old hamlet of narrow streets that lies five miles up a narrow windy mountain road. if you love that sort of thing, as we do, it’s perfect.

Great place for hiking. It was beautiful peaceful place, with fantastic views. Marco didn’t speak any English and advised him of this and communication was made via translation app. He was very accommodating . I would definitely recommend using the light in the dark stairwell of the apartment , as it is very dark without use of the light. The breakfast was traditional Italian and homemade by Marco himself. It was quite delicious ! The use of the kitchen was very convenient and a benefit-it was well stocked for any cooking needs.

Speaking honestly, I wasn't sure what, exactly, to expect when we booked Abruzzo Segreto B&B. Part of this may just be my own paranoia to places and circumstances outside the norm. Well, let me assure you, the experience was altogether delightful! Francesca and Jimmy greeted us as if we were tired, wayward travelers stopping who finally arrived (which we were) or even long lost friends which, by the end of the stay, we certainly felt like. They helped us carry our luggage in, offered my dad and I a nice, cold beer and lots of wonderful conversation. They're chock full of information on the area and various tips to find and do whatever you want or need to. Here's a tip from my family and I: Don't hesitate to stay here -- Abruzzo is a wonderful, serene part of Italy tucked away and welcoming to all who come there. Here's a second tip: I believe elsewhere people have written about how awesome Francesca and Jimmy's breakfasts are and I can tell you they're no joke. You won't leave the breakfast table hungry or deprived of warmth and charm from Abruzzo Segreto B&B! We'll be back!!!

Siamo stati a Rocca Calascio, un luogo panoramico e molto suggestivo a mezz’ora di auto dal B&B di Letizia. Il giorno successivo abbiamo visitato L’Aquila che si raggiunge con 40 minuti d’auto da lì. Ottima la colazione con tutto il necessario. Segnalo le torte fatte a mano da Letizia che erano squisite come la sua ospitalità. Ci torneremo sicuramente quest’estate per una escursione sul Gran Sasso.

La posizione dell' alloggio è il top per le escursioni in questa parte dell' Abruzzo: centrale per raggiungere posti bellissimi e unici! La stanza ed i servizi sono lindi, comodi e piacevoli. Il valore aggiunto però è senz'altro Letizia, una host impeccabile, piena di risorse, molto cordiale ed accogliente: dal sorriso di prima mattina alla disponibilità per consigli su cosa visitare, quali trekking fare e quali strade panoramiche affrontare, il tutto con grande senso del rispetto e della privacy, mai invadente, sempre con disponibilità e simpatia. Consiglio!

Eccellente struttura, organizzazione e livello di servizio. Un luogo con un’anima dove ritornare

Bellissimo appartamento nuovo e fresco ricavato con maestria da case tipiche di Farindola vecchia, stupendo giardino relax con dondolo, amaca, salottini, vasca idro, griglia, poltrone ombreggiate, pergola. Occorre camminare 1 minuto dal posteggio alto (in discesa), ma siamo nel bellissimo borgo vecchio con strada da 1.5 m per cui è normale, e l'arrivo è già in se un'esperienza. Ottime ristorantini tipici a pochi minuti di auto in mezzo ai boschi, incantevoli. Gianni e meglie molto disponibili a spiegarvi la zona. Il gioiello di Campo Imperatore e il Gran Sasso a 45 minuti su strade meravigliose. Trek di ogni livello, dai 30 min fino alla vetta per chi ha un po di fiato ed esperienza. Grazie agli host

Struttura nuova e pulita…con le travi a vista! Bagno pulito…in pieno centro all’aquila! Il nostro host ci ha spiegato in maniera chiara ogni dettaglio! Lo consiglio a chi soggiorna all’aquila!

La camera è molto bella, ottima posizione, bagno pulito e moderno, peccato che non si possa utilizzare la cucina in comune, per il resto tutto impeccabile
