Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Our peaceful and quiet “open concept” home is located in the southern Pacific mountains, 3,000 ft. up from pristine southern coast beaches to the west with the majestic Talamanca mountains to the east. Temperatures are ideal: daytime max in the 80’s, nighttime lows in the 60’s year round. A stunning view of the Pacific, including the amazing Osa peninsula is only a 10 minute walk up our road, the Rio Águila, where you can refresh in large swimming holes and massaging waterfalls, is 1 km away.

The cabin is in the heart of Ciudad Cortés, the capital of the Osa canton, with a beach, mountains, and mangroves all within 25 minutes

A stone's throw from Ojochal (Tres Rios de Coronado), the Hummingbird's Nest is a large studio for 2 or 4 people perched above the main house. The pool and PICKLEBALL court will be exclusive to the property in addition to a second bedroom for 2 people. This small cocoon in the heart of nature is accessible by 4x4 vehicle, essential to get away from the noise of the road, enjoy the jungle with stunning views of the ocean, Cano Island and Corcovado.
