The cottage is located in a village with proximity to hiking and biking trails, golf courses and Skara summerland. We recommend a visit to Karlsfors farm with Interior design shop, art exhibition and Café at the monastery with bakery, also the Silverfall with its varied and lovely nature available next to the farm

Walking distance to swimming and proximity to nature and bike trails. 300 meters to a 24/7 store. There is 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed and 1 cot. Bring your own hygiene items, lakan and towels. Welcome to our guest house dating back to the 19th century, located in Låstad between Skövde and Mariestad. Experience scenic views with evening sun until the sun sets on the horizon. There are plenty of activities within reach. Child-friendly swimming in the lake Vristulven 4 km away, 25 min to Skara Sommarland, 30 min to Sjötorp Göta kanal, 15 min to Mariestad harbor and lake Vänern. 20-30 min to the mountains Billingen and Kinnnekulle, 20 min to the monastery church built 1150 in Varnhem.

Unwind in this oasis and enjoy the silence in the middle of the forest on one of Sweden's smallest plateau mountains. Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.
