Overall it was great, the view and access to the beach are really what make this place worth it! Dawn was responsive and made the check-in process smooth and easy and provided a lot of information. Very walkable to the the main tourist pier area. My in-laws and their friends enjoyed their stay. The only complaint they had was that the restroom needs a lock. Definitely needs some updating and the building directly behind is a bit of an eyesore but it is worth the price for the private access to the beach alone and how welcoming Dawn is.

This place was great. Steps from the beach. Quiet. Not busy. The apartment was clean. It was so convenient - pots, pans, linens, beach towels, beach umbrella, etc. Ileana was very responsive and helpful. We plan on coming back.

Ich habe die Unterkunft auf Grund der Lage (am Wasser) und den Bildern ausgesucht. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Es war privat, ruhig, sauber und wunderschön. Das kleine Appartment im ersten Stock war sauber und sehr modern. Mit Netflix und sämtlichen Extras, die man in seinem Urlaub so braucht. Der schöne Pool, der Grill und die kostenlosen Fahrräder, mit denen man zum Strandfahren kann, war dabei ein tolles Add-On, dass das Angebot noch besser gemacht hat. Als es schon war. Die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber muss ich dabei auch nochmal erwähnen und in den Vordergrund heben. Ich kam mir vor wie zu Hause bei Freunden. Vielen Dank für den unvergesslichen Urlaub. Wir sind als Gästen gekommen und als Freunde gegangen. Wir kommen 100% wieder. Michel und Theresa

The overall experience was great and would stay there again. The house is in a great location. It was updated, clean and had the amenities we were looking for in regards to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and backyard. LOVED the backyard! Pool worked great and the host was accommodating when we wanted to turn the hot tub on. The AC worked great and kept the house cool during the hot summer days. All appliances worked with no issues. We did have a small issue with the fans and lights in the rooms. All the remotes were missing. We ended up finding the one for the living and dining room but never found the ones for the bedrooms. They were set to low and could not adjust them. I let the host know and they ordered new ones right away but did not make it in time for our stay.

We had such a great vacation. The house was like our own mini resort. There was so much to do for both adults and children. It’s so close to the beach, restaurants and stores. We look forward to staying again soon!

Our stay at this beautiful canal-front home was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun vacation. The pool area was a highlight—so peaceful with stunning canal views, perfect for morning coffee or evening swims. The game room was a great bonus, keeping everyone entertained with plenty of options. The location was fantastic, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and easy access to nearby attractions. The only issue we had was that the sauna did not work. The host was very responsive and tried to have someone fix it, but it never heated up. Our stay was only 2 days, so I didn’t bother having someone come again to work on it. Regardless of the sauna, we would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated all the thoughtful touches like extra towels, coffee, and local recommendations. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly—they responded quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

House, pool, and neighborhood were all great! Short walk to the beach, which was not crowded, despite being spring break. The town center of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea was also easily walkable, about 10 to 15 minutes, and we also walked to Kaluz, which is a restaurant on the inter-coastal. There were a few missing items at the house, which Charlotte promptly addressed and replaced. Showers had great water pressure, too, and there were more than enough towels. The house was certainly big enough for our two families (four adults and five kids). The only thing I wish would have been more clear in the description is that one of the rooms with two beds was clearly converted into a bedroom, and light/noise came directly into that bedroom via the open fireplace and frosted glass doors from the adjacent living room and kitchen. However, all in all, we had a great trip and would stay here again!

We had a terrific stay this week in sunny Florida. MJ’s home was perfect for entertaining our 4 adult and 4 kid group. The backyard was perfect for outdoor living - from the pool to the water views to the tv and fire table, we spent 99% of our time out there. Beds were all so comfortable and with a washer and dryer, being able to travel home with clean clothes is always an added bonus. Plenty of entertainment inside for the kids also with the game room in the garage. We can’t wait to come back!

Being a host ourself we can see both standpoints. Chad, is top 3, the best host and home we have stayed in. I spend my birthday here, rented it hours prior to arriving. We had a major switch of plans last minute and Chad was extremely accommodating. Not only did he respond 30 seconds after we messaged, his home was beautiful. When I first got to the place I didn’t think it was going to turn out to be as beautiful as his home was. It is a block away from the beach, he had two beach chairs, beach towels, washcloths, extra blankets, sheets, etc. We didn’t need it but had a vacuum and washer dryer. The views were incredible, relaxing. The parking situation was great, right in front of the home. I went with my one year old son and it was perfect for him. He had anything you could possibly have thought of, he was responsive, communicated how we were doing. I will most definitely be back, wish we could have stayed much longer. My stay was for a solo get away and this space could not have been more perfect. The private outdoor space and beautifully equipped indoor spaces made it easy to safely and comfortably unwind. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and the beach. Being able to borrow the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels made it even easier to enjoy my stay. I would highly recommend this space for anyone looking for a place to with luxury, comfort and convenience.

The apartment is nice and clean. The grounds are beautiful with heated pool and lounge chairs overlooking the canal. The beach is 5-10 minutes walk. The host went above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Perfect place :) stayed for work trip loved the ocean view so relaxing to hear at night and close walk to pool and beach very convenient! Plenty of towels, blankets , pillows, comfy bed, blinds blocked out sun, kitchen worked perfect had pots and pans utensils, blender, plenty space in apartment ! Overall loved staying here and AMAZING communication with host made me feel secure and know what to do when checking in and getting key fob , was PERFECT would love to stay here again with my family next time !

My 2 daughters and I had a wonderful stay at Alican Penthouse. The place was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had all the essentials. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially at night. It was a peaceful escape with restaurants, spas, gyms, hot and cold pools on site but still just a 10-minute drive from the restaurants , beaches, clubs, shops and malls. Looking forward to another visit.
