Holiday rentals with breakfast in Launceston

What a great little find. Karen’s place is perfect in every way. From the charming appeal of a country cottage to the thoughtful touches through out. We are already planning our next escape there. The property is close to everything you’d want, with a comfy bed and great internet (important if you had to work like me). Thank you Karen for making our mini break so awesome.

The Black House felt like a home away from home. Had everything you could possibly need for a long stay. Very attentive/helpful host. The interior design was impeccable and very modern. 10/10 would recommend.

This was one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve had in Australia. From the moment we stepped into the home, we were blown away by the bright, open-plan design that perfectly reflects the Australian lifestyle. The spacious living room, dining area, and master bedroom are all framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to a serene view of sand dunes and the ocean – simply stunning. What made this stay extra special was the warm hospitality. It was the first time I’ve been personally welcomed by a host in Australia, and it made all the difference. We were greeted with a bottle of welcome champagne, handmade chocolates, freshly baked bread, eggs, milk, coffee, ice cream, and even beer – opening the fridge felt like arriving at a dear friend’s home, not just a rental.

My wife and I have made this great home our go to place when we come to Launceston. After repeat visits we know that everything will be beautifully set up, clean, peaceful and conveniently situated to the City. Maryann is a great host.

Kaytlenn’s place was absolutely gorgeous and she is a fantastic host. it was a beautiful, private area that was so perfect for a weekend getaway. and Kaytlenn went to such lengths to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. could not recommend enough!

My return stopover was as restful as the first. Beautiful room, friendly and very accommodating host. Highly recommend.

Jennelyn’s place was a lovely old home that was beautifully renovated and maintained, very clean and comfortable. We were there for the footy, so proximity to UTAS was a huge plus, although we frequently walked into Lonnie rather than drive, and enjoyed the exercise. Last time we stayed in Lonnie for the footy, the traffic noise was awful, so we really appreciated the quiet location and great nights sleeps we had. Would highly recommend, and we hope to stay there again.

Our stay was fantastic. Great spot to stay for a couple of nights while doing things in Launceston. Very central. The breakfast was an added bonus and was just what we needed:)

If it weren't for Rose's recommendation, we would have missed the cute platypus and echidna! Her house is very beautiful, very clean and tidy. Rose is very nice and she also prepared healthy and nutritious smoothies for us! This accommodation experience is simply amazing!

My best airbnb experience to date. Keryn and Andrew were the most incredible hosts. Communication was amazing and super flexible when our flight times were changed, not to mention the thoughtful extra bits and pieces that made our stay even easier. The accommodation was in an absolutely perfect location, walking distance to everything in town and right across the road from a beautiful park. Nice and quite and had everything you could possibly think of needing. Can't recommend this enough, super lucky to find it.

Fantastic place to stay while in evandale. Very affordable and comfortable for the family.

This was exactly what we’ve been searching for on our many trips to Launceston: comfortable, immaculately clean, central (we hardly used our hire car), with fantastic kitchen facilities. We have family in Launceston and it was lovely to be able to invite them over for a bowl of homemade soup and a board game in a beautiful space. The plants, decor, great wifi, board games and morning sun shining in across the park were add bonuses. We look forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the Tamar River, yet close to everything. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lovely modern decor, spotless and everything we needed. Extensive continental breakfast supplied for our 2 night stay. Welcoming port and chocolates appreciated. Information booklet very helpful. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Launceston and its surrounds.

Private, modern and comfortable. A 30 minute walk to city centre, on a bus route also. Lisa was very helpful and informative responding immediately. Enjoyed exploring Launceston and day tour to Bay of Fires. Appreciated the food and chocolates provided. Thanks for a lovely stay, Lisa. Highly recommended.

Briar Lane feels like stepping out of time and returning to a kinder, slower world. It's such a beautiful property, with multiple characterful buildings and mature English trees, oak and elm. The apartment is cozy, comfortable and has an arts and crafts feel, and there are lots of gorgeous paintings hanging, by current owner Susan and her father in law. Briar lane is close to the Evandale market and an easy stroll to the village. The breakfast was much enjoyed. Hopefully we can return soon.

What a very special, gorgeous cottage to stay in. Julie and Gary have done everything meticulously as they have lovingly restored the stable. There are special little touches everywhere - beautiful linen on the comfortable bed, the fire laid ready to be lit, underfloor heating, warm towels, home made apricot jam and quince jelly along with sourdough bread, cheese and wine. The breakfast goodies in the fridge were yummy. Nothing has been overlooked. It was such a joy to walk in the garden and have Julie show us around. The cottage is in a great location to check out the Tamar Valley and local area. Communication leading up to our stay was really great. Thank you Julie and Gary for being such wonderful and welcoming hosts and for your kindness in letting us share your special cottage.

Second time i've stayed here - same room. Very close to the airport, easy check in, very comfortable bed and great amenities. Loved the welcome goodies in the fridge and having access to all you need in the communal kitchen. Only thing i would say is noise from the nearby highway and guests in the kitchen - I'm a light sleeper so thats probably just me. Overall, great stay and lots of thought has gone into this place! Especially the welcome booklet - very handy local recommendations.

Eliza was very kind and friendly. The room was so clean pretty cosy and beautiful with overlooking the garden. Adorable welcoming doggies 🐕 Really loved my stay in this room.

Beverley's place was the perfect location to the airport. Clean, super comfortable bed and provisions for breakfast were great. 100% recommend.

The Dragonfly Inn is possibly one of the cutest places I have stayed in. It's so homey and quaint and they have thought of everything, adding many personal and thoughtful touches to add to your experience of staying there. Would stay again, no question.

Sue's place is charismatic and fun. The house is in a great spot, and Sue was a fantastic host, who makes a great breakfast!
