Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lavenham

The property definitely ticked all the boxes for us. We were staying for a wedding in the village. Having the pub across the road was a bonus as we didn’t really want to cater for ourselves other than breakfast and the church was only 200m away. The beds were all very comfortable and the en-suite bathrooms most convenient. Two had good showers and the third a bath with a bath/shower mixer tap. We didn’t need the fourth bedroom but had we done, although it didn’t have an en-suite bathroom, it did have exclusive night time use of a cloakroom next door to it. It was positioned away from all the other bedrooms so it was as good as being en-suite for night time use and of course there were still three bathrooms to use for showering or bathing, so not really a game changer if four beds were needed.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the studio. The space was welcoming and clean. I would have preferred a larger bed but it was comfortable. Just a matter of taste. Breakfast was a nice touch.

We really enjoyed our stay in Frinton-on-Sea - the house was perfect for our needs; well appointed, bright and comfy. The enclosed garden space was perfect for a dog and a toddler, and never felt overlooked. Thank you to Carly for making us feel welcome.

Jasmine cottage was a most wonderful place to stay! Shelly's attention to detail was much appreciated and it's clear to see why she is a superhost! A wonderful house in beautiful surroundings. It also had that more difficult to attain "presence", with each room allowing you to relax and experience its homeliness and history. The whole family (6 adults and 2 grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed our stay to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday. No-one really wanted to leave. Waking up to see the expanse of manicured gardens from bedroom windows and breakfast room was a calming relaxing pleasure. Plenty of walks available, and the walk to the local pub for an evening meal was safe and easy along quiet country roads. Would certainly recommend.

It was an amazing stay for our little family of 3, Perdee was very responsive, friendly and flexible with letting us check in early and check out later. The location is beautiful and the scenery is something else. If you enjoy a peaceful stay and are a fan of animals this is a must stay! Can’t thank Perdee enough for the hospitality.

Great stay! Really nice! Very close to the beach, lovely walks to west Mersea. Shanice was bang on with her communication.

We were recommended Sprotts Farm by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. A great feel at home place to stay, set amongst the most beautiful wooded countryside. Everything was as described and we’ll certainly be back for a return visit 😊 Leo, our pampered pooch certainly enjoyed exploring the grounds and the woods were definitely a bonus. Perfect getaway to unwind and recharge.

Unfortunately, we had to leave early do to health reasons (that had nothing to do with place). Our time spent there was so relaxing. We enjoyed every minute.

Staying at The Tryst gave us a great experience of staying in comfort at a 500 year old cottage steeped in character and history. The Aga kept us warm for our family meals in the kitchen and cosy evenings in the snug lounge. The two double bedrooms were spacious and all the beds were very comfortable. The garden was beautiful and would be a wonderful outdoor space in the Summer. The Tryst offered us a fantastic location in the heart of the Lavenham for exploring this exceptional village.

Beautiful little cottage on a lovely farm with great walks for my dog. Peace and quiet in spades. Can't wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb as guests to a wedding near by. The house was very comfortable and roomy enough for 6 adults. We loved the space

Comfortable peaceful idyllic home for a restful stay. Take your own hairdryer if you are fussy and the dining room chairs are fine, don't worry about the wobbly legs like i did to start with. Lovely touches including gorgeous shampoo etc, blankets, bbq, garden loungers, and tea coffee and oil, salt and pepper. Thank you so much, it was prefect for us.

Thank you to Sam and Martin for a wonderful one night stay to celebrate our Anniversary, it’s was a really magical experience in a beautiful well cared for, clean and wonderful place. The marshmallows, milk and fresh Juice was a lovely touch, it was fully equipped and everything was so easy to navigate, loved the attention to detail and our balloons upon arrival, hot tub was lovely and the star gazing day bed was beautiful at dusk and beyond. We had amazing weather so it was a pleasure spending time outside and I’ll defo come back in the autumn to try out the underfloor heading and indoor fire, we made lovely memories in a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful setting, thank you 😊

Really beautiful place, exactly as described. Just a picturesque village with nice cafes and places to eat and lots to see and do. Would definitely stay here again if I was to come back to the area! Famous Harry Potter house literally a few doors down which my 30 year old daughter was ecstatic about!
