Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lawrencetown

We had the pleasure to stay for the month of August. Great location overlooking a lake, just a short walk to a small quiet beach on the ocean. An old railway track converted to biking/walking path close by. Close to groceries and restaurants. Great location for day trips to Peggy’s cove/Halifax boardwalk/many parks and beaches. The home had everything you need. Just bring your swim trunks and spirit of adventure. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely spot.

We came for the Hunter Moon and fell in love with the sunsets and walking on the beach. Lots of places to explore in the area.

This was our daughters first vacation out of the province so we were unsure of how it would go as she had just turned 4. We had such a lovely stay at Sarah's cozy lakefront cottage! It was peaceful and quiet — the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and some beautiful beaches close by as well as some others 1-2 hrs drive away. The host was friendly and made us feel right at home. The beds were really comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after days spent exploring. Our daughter was thrilled with all the toys available, and we really enjoyed the selection of board games for some fun family evenings. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, family-friendly getaway. We’d love to come back some day - our daughter did not want to come home.

Our family was coming for a wedding- it was a stunning place for us to gather and enjoy - reality- I wish would have been able to stay longer. I highly recommend this place- stunning space and great hosts. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything.

Cute mini home, super close to Clam Harbour Beach. This rental feels like renting from a friend or family member with many thoughtful amenities like - condiments in the fridge, beach towels, coffee station + coffee provided, variety of mosquito repelling devices. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens.

Most of what I'm saying is echoing what other Guests have said - it's all still true for 2024: Morry is great to work with, cottage is clean and well-equipped,  the views here are wonderful, beds are comfy and the layout worked well for us with the two main floor bedrooms on opposite sides.  The kitchen is a good size and the two full bathrooms are like new. There's a great hike trailhead a stone's throw away and, if you haven't already, you will fall in love with Prospect, NS!!

This place was just what we needed for our stay in Halifax. We were within walking distance of local restaurants and a cycle shop where we could rent bikes. The inside was cosy, clean, and really made you feel welcome. Andrea was responsive and a lovely host! Would definitely recommend. :)

We had an incredible trip at Candace's place. The home was stunning and was perfect for our group of 6. If you have the opportunity to book your trip to Halifax here, I would definitely recommend!

An incredibly comfortable and most cozy stay with breathtaking views of the bay (whether in sunshine, moonlight and/or fog!). Perfect location, ideal for exploring area and/or quiet and restorative stay. 3-night stay was wonderful but would love to return for an entire week! Thank you Kristine - your bnb in one of my favourites!

Barrie is a wonderful host and the location of this home is truly incredible. We had everything we needed, plus our own island! We hope to be back!

This was an amazing stay! We really enjoyed our time at this location. The suite had a great modern cottage vibe. It’s cozy and comfortable. Although there was no range, they provided and hot plate and air fryer for convenience! That was great for us as we were there for a longer stay, we could prepare meals at home instead. The location was close to bus routes and sunny side mall. Also easy access to Dartmouth road or Bedford hiway! We thank Amit and his family for their wonderful hospitality!

Ryan gave us easy to follow instructions regarding check-in. Check-in at any Airbnb is stressful for me because “what if it goes wrong and I can’t get in”. Ryan made this very easy for us. The suite was clean, large and well located within Halifax. One struggle was overnight parking for us, but that was not on the host; they were upfront about the lack of street parking or on-site parking. We figured it out and found parking in the next block. Ryan could use some new pillows on the bed and I have mentioned this to them in a text. I am sure they will address it. When we visit Halifax in the future, we would hope to stay as their guests again.

Had a wonderful stay! Our host was incredibly helpful and made everything easy. The units were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s just a short drive to downtown, which was super convenient. I highly recommend staying here!

This conveniently located and charming historic property was a delight! Be advised that it's on the 3rd floor, accessible by narrow stairs. I had trouble getting my overly large suitcase up and down (my own fault)! Very convenient location for exploring Halifax.

The accommodation was as described. It was spacious and very well equipped with comfortable dining, seating and bedroom areas. The location was convenient for accessing the highway , the Eastern Shore and Halifax . Grocery, fuel and restaurants were nearby as were walking trails. I would definitely stay again.

Judy‘s house is on a quiet sidestreet just parallel to the coastal street and made her house feel protected, quiet and even more charming. She went out of her way to share recommendations on music and art activities in the area, on beaches and hikes and on making the stay in her cute house wonderful. The legendary Peggy Cove village is minutes down the road and simply gorgeous.

WOW!! Bill’s home is beautiful, comfortable, and located in a gorgeous, breathtaking setting. Right across the street from Bill’s house is one of the most photographed bays in Nova Scotia. I would love to stay here again and again.

My brother and I stayed at Sammi’s location for several days while we moved our mother to Moody Hall, enhanced care. His property was a peaceful place to stay at the end of a long and very stressful days. Close proximity to places to eat, shop and a quiet location. Fresh bed linens and fluffy white towels were appreciated. Shower is good and the kitchen and bathroom are spotless. I would recommend staying there.
