House holiday rentals in Le Barp

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

We had a great stay with the family, the accommodation is very nice and quiet, with all the necessary composites. Julie is very responsive and accommodating. We'll be happy to go back!

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

We were only in the small but cozy apartment for one night because we were on our way to Spain. Everything was super clean and cozy. There were many details in the furnishings, where you could see that it was furnished with attention to detail...-:) If we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back... Fantastic hosts, Laurent and Carole could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Amazing welcome package, well appointed kitchen, lovely pool and an abundance of towels. They were very helpful with recommendations and came to say farewell. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Although the place is relatively far from the coast, but it has all the amenities to spend a beautiful family holiday. I want to clarify that the accommodation is clean and the large pool is a real plus that compensates for the distance from the coast. A big thank you to the whole team for the welcome and availability.

It's always a great pleasure to stay at La Lavandine, it's the second time for me that I have had a long stay and what happiness. Karine is a very serious , flexible and welcoming host and the accommodation is impeccable. Communication is great. This house is a real haven of peace, surrounded by greenery and countryside while being very close to shops and the pool. The accommodation is clean, tidy and well-equipped. Claire and Alex are very friendly hosts and were available for questions and tips throughout the trip. The house has everything you need and has a perfect location with large garden. Walking distance to beach and downtown. Had a very nice holiday. Merci!

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen... a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, an asset. In short, we will be happy to come back if we pass through the area again.

It was a wonderful weekend with Jean-Charles and Elodie! The Airbnb is like a beautiful moment suspended in a small paradise... inside a beautiful building renovated by Jean-Charles with a sense of respect for the history of the place and a way between tradition and modernity, in the middle of nature. We had a great time!

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the best week in this beautiful house. The outlook and the facilities were perfect and Lili was a fantastic host. Would recommend.

Very nice place to stay on our trip, nice and complete apartment with new kitchen and great shower. Everything is really very clean (certainly compared to some other locations) and just about everything is present in the house, even some additional food, pasta, coffee, tea, etc. There is also plenty of space to cook and eat. The immediate area is very quiet, in Dominique's garden, in a quiet street, ideal for resting. Arrival and departure are completely autonomous, but Dominique also made contact himself, which is very pleasant and gives an extra personal touch. We'll definitely be back!

Auguste's home was perfect for a family holiday. The house is large, airy and features lots of areas to relax and socialise in. The surrounding gardens, pool and dock are stunning. The home is situated at a quiet lane with Auguste next door. He was an attentive and helpful host and gave us all the space we needed. Our group did not have a car so relied on taxis, with mixed results - so keep that in mind. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks
