House holiday rentals in Le Barroux

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

This is very lovely and quiet place. Everything was perfect.

Aurore was a pleasure to deal with. The house was incredible with stunning views. Everything you need is either a walk or short drive away. We loved our stay and will hopefully be coming back.

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

Beautiful and modern house with great amenities. Fantastic view of Mont Ventoux! Clean swimming pool and clean hot tub. We rode a lot of bike: good accessibility for the Mont Ventoux and the Nesque gorge. Our host Matthieu was always approachable and responded very quickly to questions.

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

My request to fill the pool earlier than planned was immediately granted. At the end of May, with beautiful weather, it was nice to swim. The terrace is beautifully located and large, you can always find a sunny or shady spot. Daniele and George responded quickly and accurately to the messages. The houses of the host and guests are built together, but due to their position and vegetation, they are private. We have heard each other, but absolutely not disturbing. And of course, it's nice that they are close by if something comes up. We had a fantastic stay!

Isabelle and her husband welcomed us very well in their beautifully furnished and very clean cottage. The pool area is incredible and allowed us to cool off in this strong heat after our ascent of Mont Ventoux by bike.

Large house with shaded terrace and garden with swimming pool. Old building with a lot of charm. Great place with children, away from the road in the middle of cherry trees. Malaucene village 20 minutes' walk. Pleasant terrace inviting large tables for a barbecue. We had a great stay with friends while each having our privacy thanks to the individual rooms per family and the independent bathrooms. Kitchen equipped with the necessary, comfortable interior spaces but we mostly spent time outside. Perfect base for tackling Ventoux by bike or on foot without taking the car. Corinne and Laurent were extremely accommodating for our late arrival and always available when needed on site. We keep this address safe in case of a new arrival in the region.

I can only recommend this accommodation, already the communication with Eric and Sylvie was pleasant and responsive. And the perfect accommodation, clean, everything is tastefully decorated, super well equipped! The pool (heated) and the outdoor terrace were our favorite places over these 3 days, we did not use the lounges much😉. The city is not far at all, as are the bike and hiking activities. In summary, we had a very good extended weekend. Thank you again.

Very nice house, very spacious with a large kitchen and large living room. The bedroom with a shower, sink and toilet is a real plus. Beautiful environment in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. A nice touch from Axelle for our arrival with a bottle of wine from her vineyards. We will be happy to continue visiting this beautiful area.

The place was beautiful and Bonnieux has everything you need for a great base whilst exploring the Luberon. We loved the setting out in the peace of vineyard and cherry orchard whilst being an easy walk into the village. Edwina was very kind and helpful and left a wonderful welcome for us at the house. Would 100% recommend.

What a beautifully updated home with all the modern amenities, in such a picturesque and historic village, surrounded by stunning scenic landscapes. The home fits right in with the quaint old village, while having such a modern and comfortable interior. I highly recommend staying here!

An enchanting, luxury getaway in the South of France. This is everything you’re looking for in Provence and then some. Gorgeous views, posh pool, lots of privacy on a beautifully renovated French country estate. You won’t be disappointed!

Set on the side of the mountain with a beautiful view looking out over farmland to the east. You can hear the soft sound of cowbells from the herd below, which adds a peaceful touch. The walk up to town is short and steep, or you can take a slightly longer route along the switchback road with a gentler incline. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised—the house felt even more comfortable and welcoming than we expected. Florence & Vincent were available and responsive, but we hardly needed them because the home is dialed. We’ll be back.

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Annick’s property, it was a perfect location, extremely peaceful overlooking the pool and olive groves in the garden with the backdrop of Gordes in the distance. The town of Gordes is walkable (uphill) or less than a 5 minute drive away, ideally located to visit the bakery in the morning for breakfast. Annick was very responsive and met us on arrival and kindly provided local recommendations. We had a fantastic weeks stay, thank you very much.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Anaïs’s beautiful home in Gordes! The house was in immaculate condition perfectly clean, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a peaceful haven in the heart of Provence. Anaïs was an exceptional host. She warmly welcomed us in person, gave us a full tour of the property, and shared helpful tips about how everything worked. She also went out of her way to help us plan our stay, answering all our questions and offering fantastic suggestions that shaped a perfect itinerary. What truly stood out was her kindness and attention to detail even at check-out, she made sure everything went smoothly and surprised us with a thoughtful parting gift. It was such a lovely gesture that really made us feel at home. We couldn’t recommend Anaïs or her home more highly. An outstanding experience from beginning to end!

We loved our stay at Aurelie’s. The home was cozy and beautifully decorated with a private courtyard. The home was located close to a cluster of small villages, as well as some restaurants. Aurelie was very responsive and quick to assist with some minor issues we encountered. We would love to come back some day!

We had a very pleasant stay in this small cottage in Provence, with a majestic and soothing view of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The cottage is immersed in a pine forest at the entrance to one of the most beautiful valleys of Provence, between Barroux, Suzette and Roque Alric, the setting and worthy of a postcard. The hosts are very welcoming, access to the pool is simple, it is shared with the family, but very well accepted by all. We were able to enjoy it a lot while having our own space by the pool. The cottage is well-equipped and is separate from the guest area. The car is on a plot that belongs to the cottage and everything is very well secured. The dogs are adorable. If you do not want to approach them, they will never be with you because they do not enter the private space of the cottage, they are not present when you are at the pool. The monastery, its atmosphere, its shop 2 steps away.

A peaceful place surrounded by vineyards, good wines, the accommodation is very well located. A more than perfect vacation. A big thank you to you 2 for your kindness and availability. A real pleasure to have been able to rent your home. Spacious, well arranged, everything you need was there. Close to strategic places to visit. thank you so much Sonia and Pascale, we'll be back. The place was exactly as wonderful as it looked on the photos. I loved the kitchen equipment and that there was lots of spare plates and cutlery. The pool was wonderful.

Such a beautiful house and location, in rural surroundings. We were looking for somewhere private and peaceful to relax and unwind as a family and two dogs. This place ticked all of our boxes and more. The local village is 5 minutes drive away and has every amenity you could wish for.
