House holiday rentals in Le Barroux

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille dans le logement de Clothilde et Juan. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié la beauté et le calme du lieu, ainsi que la piscine. Le logement est très bien aménagé et joliment décoré. Il y a plusieurs possibilités de visites à environ 30 minutes de voiture (Gordes, Senanques, Roussillon, ...). Clothilde et Juan sont très accueillants et sympathiques sympathiques. Merci à eux!

La maison est toute neuve et très bien équipée. Elle a été décorée avec goût mais ce que nous avons le plus apprécié c’est la magnifique vue 🤩 depuis la terrasse et le séjour mais aussi toutes les chambres. Nous sommes allées a pied au village pour aller au restaurant et pour aller chercher les croissants 🥐 le lendemain. La propriétaire a été très sympathique et nous reviendrons c’est sûr!

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

Wunderschönes und modernes Haus mit super Ausstattung. Fantastischer Blick auf den Mont Ventoux! Sauberer Swimmingpool und sauberer Whirlpool. Wir sind viel Rad gefahren: gute Erreichbarkeit für den Mont Ventoux und die Nesque Schlucht. Unser Gastgeber Matthieu war immer ansprechbar und hat sehr schnell auf Fragen geantwortet.

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse on a quiet street near the village of Gordes. La Bastide des As is absolutely beautiful, blending rustic charm with chic decor and modern amenities. The house is spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lovely pool and outdoor dining areas- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding villages. Sophie was truly amazing. She was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and going out of her way to make our stay special. She sent us advance recommendations on activities, dining, vineyards and shopping. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. It’s a lovely place for anyone looking to unwind in the heart of Provence—a perfect combination of tranquility and modern comforts. We can’t wait to return!

Danièle and Georges are very friendly and approachable, as is their little dog Luna! Georges takes great care of the pool, which is spotless. It was great for cooling off in, during exceptionally hot June weather. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and there is a large library of books with which to practise your French. The underfloor cooling really works to keep the house comfortable. The beds are really comfy and the outdoor dining area was very welcome. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bédoin and La Fleur d’Olivier.

Isabelle et son mari nous ont très bien accueillis dans leur gîte magnifiquement aménagé et très propre. Le coin piscine est incroyable et nous a permis de nous rafraichir par cette forte chaleur après notre ascension du Mont Ventoux à vélo.

Grande maison avec terrasse ombragée et jardin avec piscine. Vieille bâtisse avec beaucoup de charme. Lieu génial avec des enfants, à l’écart de la route au milieu des cerisiers. Village de Malaucene à 20 minutes à pieds. Terrasse agréable invitant aux grandes tablées pour un barbecue. Nous avons passés un excellent séjour entre amis tout en ayant chacun notre intimité grâce aux chambres individuelles par famille et aux salles de bains indépendantes. Cuisine équipée du nécessaire, espaces intérieures confortables mais nous avons surtout passé du temps dehors. Point de chute parfait pour partir à l’assaut du Ventoux en vélo ou en balade à pieds sans prendre la voiture. Corinne et Laurent ont été extrêmement arrangeant pour notre arrivée tardive et toujours disponible en cas de besoin sur place. Nous gardons précieusement cette adresse en cas de nouvelle venue dans la région.

Je ne peux que recommander ce logement, déjà la communication avec Eric et Sylvie était agréable et réactive. Et le logement parfait, propre, tout est décoré avec goût, super bien équipé ! La piscine (chauffée) et la terrasse extérieure ont été nos lieux privilégiés sur ces 3 jours, nous n'avons pas beaucoup utilisé les salons 😉. La ville n'est pas loin du tout, tout comme les activités vélo et randonnée. En résumé nous avons passé un très bon weekend prolongé dépaysant. Merci encore

Très belle maison, très spacieuse avec une grande cuisine et grand séjour. La chambre avec un coin douche lavabo et WC est un vrai plus. Très bel environnement au milieu des vignes et des oliviers. Une gentille attention d'Axelle pour notre arrivée avec une bouteille de vin de ses vignes. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour continuer à visiter cette magnifique région.

The place was beautiful and Bonnieux has everything you need for a great base whilst exploring the Luberon. We loved the setting out in the peace of vineyard and cherry orchard whilst being an easy walk into the village. Edwina was very kind and helpful and left a wonderful welcome for us at the house. Would 100% recommend.

What a beautifully updated home with all the modern amenities, in such a picturesque and historic village, surrounded by stunning scenic landscapes. The home fits right in with the quaint old village, while having such a modern and comfortable interior. I highly recommend staying here!

An enchanting, luxury getaway in the South of France. This is everything you’re looking for in Provence and then some. Gorgeous views, posh pool, lots of privacy on a beautifully renovated French country estate. You won’t be disappointed!

Set on the side of the mountain with a beautiful view looking out over farmland to the east. You can hear the soft sound of cowbells from the herd below, which adds a peaceful touch. The walk up to town is short and steep, or you can take a slightly longer route along the switchback road with a gentler incline. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised—the house felt even more comfortable and welcoming than we expected. Florence & Vincent were available and responsive, but we hardly needed them because the home is dialed. We’ll be back.

Magical!! Andy and Jess have an absolutely beautiful place that embodies what Airbnb is all about! The decor is well thought out and gorgeous with beautiful French antiques and comfy furniture. The yard was massive with a perfect swimming pool, big grassy area, and places to sit in the shade. We made dinner one evening and sat and chatted with our host which was probably one of our favorite nights. Andy was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for cute towns and markets. The animals were the happiest pets I’ve ever met and it was fun to hang out with the 2 sweet dogs and friendly cat. Can’t say enough good things about this property. You can feel the soul of it as soon as you enter and I only wish we’d had more time here on our trip through France. Thank you Andy and Jess for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at Annick’s property, it was a perfect location, extremely peaceful overlooking the pool and olive groves in the garden with the backdrop of Gordes in the distance. The town of Gordes is walkable (uphill) or less than a 5 minute drive away, ideally located to visit the bakery in the morning for breakfast. Annick was very responsive and met us on arrival and kindly provided local recommendations. We had a fantastic weeks stay, thank you very much.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Anaïs’s beautiful home in Gordes! The house was in immaculate condition perfectly clean, beautifully furnished, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a peaceful haven in the heart of Provence. Anaïs was an exceptional host. She warmly welcomed us in person, gave us a full tour of the property, and shared helpful tips about how everything worked. She also went out of her way to help us plan our stay, answering all our questions and offering fantastic suggestions that shaped a perfect itinerary. What truly stood out was her kindness and attention to detail even at check-out, she made sure everything went smoothly and surprised us with a thoughtful parting gift. It was such a lovely gesture that really made us feel at home. We couldn’t recommend Anaïs or her home more highly. An outstanding experience from beginning to end!

We loved our stay at Aurelie’s. The home was cozy and beautifully decorated with a private courtyard. The home was located close to a cluster of small villages, as well as some restaurants. Aurelie was very responsive and quick to assist with some minor issues we encountered. We would love to come back some day!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette petite maisonnette de Provence, avec une vue majestueuse et apaisante sur les dentelles de Montmirail. La maisonnette est immergée dans une forêt de pins à l’entrée d’une des plus belles vallées de Provence, entre le Barroux, Suzette et la roque Alric le cadre et digne de carte postale. Les hôtes sont très accueillants l’accès à la piscine est simple, elle est partagée avec la famille, mais très bien acceptée par tous. Nous avons pu en profiter largement tout en ayant notre espace à nous au bord de la piscine. La maisonnette est bien équipée et est séparée de l’espace des hôtes. La voiture est sur un emplacement qui appartient à la maisonnette et tout est très bien sécurisé. Les chiens sont adorables. Si vous ne souhaitez pas les approcher, ils ne seront jamais avec vous car ils ne rentrent pas dans l’espace privé de la maisonnette, ils ne sont pas présent quand vous êtes à la piscine. Le monastère son ambiance son magasin à 2 pas.

Un lieu paisible entouré de vignes, de bons vins, le logement très bien situé. Des vacances plus que parfaites. Un tout grand merci à vous 2 pour votre gentillesse et disponibilité. Un réel plaisir d'avoir pu louer votre logement. Spacieux , bien agencé, tout le nécessaire y était. A proximité des lieux stratégiques à visiter. mille mercis Sonia et Pascale, nous reviendrons. The place was exactly as wonderful as it looked on the photos. I loved the kitchen equipment and that there was lots of spare plates and cutlery. The pool was wonderful.

Such a beautiful house and location, in rural surroundings. We were looking for somewhere private and peaceful to relax and unwind as a family and two dogs. This place ticked all of our boxes and more. The local village is 5 minutes drive away and has every amenity you could wish for.
