Very pleasant accommodation and environment for people wishing to rest and visit Carcassonne and its surroundings. The hosts are very pleasant and respect our privacy while we are on their property. The pool is great, a real plus in the hot weather!! I highly recommend it!

Frankly, Ras! A lot of small touches in addition to the services /services mentioned in the listing, Val and Phil are super nice, extremely helpful and responsive, very good advice for the activities/ outings available nearby... And their dogs are very cute. In short, a WE too short but great as far as we are concerned👌!

Very happy with this cottage, very nice materials, very nice decor, refined chic, space to park in the courtyard. Everything is very clean and the bedding is impeccable, comfortable, rose petals on the bed. You can hear the footsteps of the inhabitants above, you feel a light presence, but it is not a problem. A perfect stay in an exceptional cottage! We had an unforgettable time in this house near Villefranche-de-Panat. The cottage is huge, perfectly clean, with many spacious rooms and high-quality (and large!) bedding. The environment is very pleasant, quiet and relaxing, ideal for recharging. The equipment is impressive: nothing is missing! Games for young and old, both indoors and outdoors, and a multitude of materials available that really facilitate the stay. We feel that everything has been thought out for the comfort of the guests. Special mention to the host, very responsive, available and extremely kind. A 5-star experience from start to finish. I recommend it blindly and will be happy to come back! Would you like a shorter or more familiar version?

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Carcassonne! From the moment I arrived, the host went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The communication was excellent — responsive, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the entire stay. The house was spotless, stylish, and incredibly well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. It felt like a true home away from home, with lovely touches that showed real care and attention to detail. The location was perfect — peaceful and just a short drive to the medieval cité, shops, and cafes. But what truly made this experience special was the host’s generosity and kindness. Myriam helped with logistics, and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely warm and attentive. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
