House holiday rentals in Le Bugue

Belle maison très bien équipée, très propre et au calme. Rien ne manque. Petite piscine bien appréciable en période de grosse chaleur. Celle ci est chauffée. Décoration très sympa. Idéalement située pour visiter le Périgord noir. Très proche de Beynac. Beaucoup de sites à moins de 20mn de voiture. La Dordogne est toute proche (10 mn à pied) avec possibilité de faire du canoé. Margot nous a accueillis avec gentillesse. Très disponible tout en restant discrète. Nous recommandons cette location.

Nous avons séjourné dans ce logement quelques jours, c'est un véritable havre de paix ! Nous avons pu découvrir la Dordogne grâce aux recommandations de nos hôtes. Nous reviendrons !!

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

We have just come back from a wonderful week at Jeanies Gite. We’ve had an amazing time and will be back. The location was idyllic. The accommodation was lovely. The pool was great. And Jeanie was so welcoming. We went to the Dordogne to sightsee but the Gite was so good we stayed there, other than a lovely kayak down the Dordogne. Thank you Jeanie, we will see you again. Soon hopefully!

If you are looking for a big beautiful house for a family holiday, look no further! This house is spacious, beautifully decorated, located in a quiet countryside but only ten minute drive to a big supermarket. We enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and playing boules. Photos don’t do the house justice. It exceeded our expectations. Would recommend staying here and we would not hesitate to stay again. Lise was very responsive in her communication. We drove through the night to get to the house and Lise kindly offered us a one off earlier check in, which we were grateful for.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Une très belle maison decoree avec beaucoup de goût, dans un superbe cadre. Nous avons pu apprécier le confort de la maison lors de quelques journées pluvieuses mais également du magnifique jardin et de la terrasse par temps ensoleillé. De nombreuses visites sont accessibles à proximité. Les hôtes sont acceuilants et réactifs.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Ravissant studio très bien équipé et décoré avec goût en pleine Nature . La literie est parfaite .Tout est très fonctionnel . L’environnement est magnifique et propice au repos . Gaelle est très accueillante ,attentionnee et prévenante. Il faisait très chaud et elle avait pris soin de mettre la clim pour que nous soyons au frais des notre arrivée. Merci

We loved our stay at Geoffrey Et Yohannas. The property had everything we needed and such a beautiful location with the view over Saint Cyprien. We spent many evenings on the terrace enjoying the peace and listening to the birds and the abbey bells ringing. Geoffrey et Yohanna made us feel very welcome and gave great recommendations on where to eat out. It was a fantastic base from which to explore this area of the Dordogne. We hope to come back sometime.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Hôtes et location parfaits, un environnement paisible et reposant. Florence et Fred sont très accueillant et reste disponiblent pour donner de très bon conseil en cas de besoin. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter, cette location... l'essayer c'est l'adopter.

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

A really fabulous place to stay in a peaceful rural hamlet in perigord region. Julie & Vincent were great hosts & made us feel very welcome. Close to a number of beautiful towns & villages, with loads to do & see. The accommodation itself is very charming and a great place to unwind & relax. The local Sunday market in St Cyprien is a delight, with every kind of local produce you could imagine, live music, crafts etc. and there was a real buzz about the place.

Such a relaxing few days spent at this beautiful cottage. Nature, the local village and the sauna/hot tub were exactly what we needed

We had a wonderful week based in Lou Cécadou. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. The house is attractive and well equipped, and the pool was a real bonus. Very well located for visiting the sights and local markets, with convenient shopping in Le Bugue. We will recommend to our friends.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Wij hebben het fantastisch gehad in deze ruime en sfeervolle boerderijwoning. Een geweldige locatie, heerlijk rustig en mooi gelegen. Genoten van de vogels en vlinders in de grote tuin. Echt een ideale plek om tot rust te komen. We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Anne, een ontzettend leuke en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Je voelt je hier meer dan welkom. Als het aan ons ligt komen we graag nog eens terug.

Notre séjour à Monfort a été extrèmement agréable. Quel bonheur de boire son café dans le jardin le matin face au château de Monfort. Certes le logement se trouve juste à coté de la route (donc si vous voulez du silence totale ce ne sera pas le cas) mais la vue et les environs font de ce logement un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, ce qui en fait oublier ce petit désagrément. Morgane a été une hôte charmante et tout à fait à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour une pause hors du temps. Merci pour tout!

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, avec des gourmandises appréciées. Belle propriété dans un cadre magnifique, en hauteur, avec une très belle vue. Beaucoup d'espaces extérieurs bien entretenus, avec de jolis coins d'ombres. Endroit très calme, mais proche des Eyzies en voiture. La maison est très propre, bien équipée et très agréable à vivre. Nous avons passés un séjour riche en randonnées et visites diverses dans la région. Et nous avons eu la chance de voir du gîte un renard, des lièvres et des biches. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps !
