Grandpa's House

Walking distance to downtown, this is the perfect home for your mountain experience. The front section of this house was rolled down on logs by my grandfather from the East side of Leadville's historic mining district. From there it was built it into a two bedroom house which is now fully renovated for you to enjoy your mountain stay. Enjoy things nearby such as the Mineral Belt Trail, easy access to hiking and biking trials, and a short drive to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and Ski Cooper.

Enjoy this beautifully remodeled home just 4 blocks to Harrison Avenue. This home boasts walking access to downtown and the Mineral Belt Trail and East Side hiking trails. Two bedrooms with queen beds, one bath and a large dining and living area. Enjoy a brand new kitchen with all the amenities. This is a great place to base for the Leadville race series or just for exploring Leadville and all it has to offer. Walk to the Leadville race start lines, downtown, the train or the Mineral Belt.

We are a block off downtown and just a short walk to all the great restaurants. The mountain views of White River National Forest off the deck in the back are AMAZING! 15 minutes to Ski Cooper and 25 minutes to Copper. Lots of toys and board games for the kids and a charcoal grill in the back for summer time grilling! 4K TV, 100 Mbps Internet with WiFi, tons of DVDs, XBox, Satellite TV and Apple TV in two rooms w/access to Netflix, HBO, Prime Video, Hulu, ESPN+ and other apps.
