Christos ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist ein sehr schönes Steinhaus. Die Fenster und Terrassentüren haben alle Rolläden und Mücken Gitter. Die Terasse und der Garten mit Oliven- und Zitronen Bäumen ist wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super. Es sind zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten zum Dorfzentrum mit 3 Tavernen, einem Cafe mit Eisdiele und einem Supermarkt. Die umliegenden Strände, auch Preveli Beach sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Direkt vom Haus aus sind schöne Wanderungen möglich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful house and impeccably clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Pool was great, and the side yard was bigger than anticipated. The host provided pool floaties and other toys for the yard which was awesome for the kids. Only downside was the view is partially obstructed with an old building across street and it’s a little bit louder than anticipated being on busy road/ highway and beside service station. Despite this its still quite private with gated access and trees. As for location, very easy to explore and get to the beaches. We went to a new one each day, and all within 15 min beautiful drive. Great value for those wanting a pool and to explore.

Ich war ab Ende April 2 Wochen lang Gast in dieser schönen und geräumigen Unterkunft. Die Lage ist phantastisch, man hat deine wunderbare Aussicht auf die Bucht von Plakias. Christos war ein toller Gastgeber, der immer sehr schnell und freundlich auf meine Anfragen reagiert hat. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist mit Airconditioning ausgestattet. Es gibt einen privaten Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und würde sie jederzeit wieder buchen.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. What an incredible place Venus Hill is! We loved everything about it. The whole property is built and designed so elegantly, it is one of the rare constructions in the area that looks gorgeous and is in harmony with the nature around it. The studio itself is amazing, spotless, looks brand new and has all the amenities needed, including a big bathroom and a walk in wardrobe area with a small fridge. The bedroom is beautiful and the terrace is the best part of it all: breathtaking panoramic views on the sea, the mountains and the surrounding hills. We loved watching the sunsets and the starry skies from there. The studio has mosquito nets on the balcony doors, so you can sleep with the doors open and enjoy the cool breeze. Kay is a great host, kind, helpful, with a great energy, discreet but always responsive. The area around Venus Hill is perfect, wild with dramatic scenery, great beaches, nice villages and good restaurants. This is such a rare find, we will be back! ❤️

Tolles Haus in ruhiger Lage abseits des Tourismus von Plakias. Neben dem großen Strand gab es viele kleine Buchten, die sehr gut zum Tauchen und Schnorcheln geeignet sind. Restaurants gibt es viele in der Gegend, die mitunter gut bis sehr gut bewertet sind. Preise sind ausgezeichnet. Es gibt genügend Apps, die bei der Suche helfen! Supermärkte gibt es viele. Ich empfehle aber günstiger bei einem Discounter in Rethymnon einzukaufen. Im Haus war ansonsten alles vorhanden. Pool und Garten wurden regelmäßig gereinigt. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick in die Bucht. Der Gastgeber ist erreichbar und unterstützt bei Fragen oder Problemen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Antigoni’s space was perfect for our visit to Crete! She provided us with lots of detailed tips for local restaurants and beaches which ended up being highlights of our trip. Her parents also brought us stuffed zucchini flowers when we arrived which were delicious :) thanks again for everything!

We were 5 people and had wonderful 2 Weeks at the Villa with the kindest hosts you can imagine. Manos and Stella warmheartedly welcomed us, the fridge was filled with all essential food, Stella made an amazing mousaka and so we had a very relaxed first day without having to buy something after arriving. They recommended us all interesting places near the villa, like restaurants, beaches and markets. All in all the location is great, with beaches and the nearest city really quikly reachable by car or even by foot. All the time we felt really well taken care of. The Villa is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The pool has a great size and is a must for an ultimate relaxed vacation! We highly recommend the stay here, because you not only get a wonderful accommodation, but you also feel welcome right away. Like a second home :) Thank you so much for providing us an amazing time! We wish all guests a nice stay as well, but have no doubt it wouldn't ;)
