We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Een wat afgelegen huis van 150 jaar oud. En dat heeft vooral z'n charmes!! Inger is een aardige gastvrouw. Hoewel je misschien de inrichting iets beperkt vind of gedateerd het voldoet prima. Wij hebben het er goed gehad. Laat je vooral verassen door authenticiteit en de rustige plek.

Maison de campagne d’époque très propre à l’intérieur et bien équipée. Le site est bien et très charmant avec une vue sur les montagnes enneigées et le bruit de l’eau qui s’écoule en cascade. Jannicke est une hôte très accueillante et toujours disponible. Elle est généreuse, elle partage ses connaissances et ses œufs qui sont délicieux. Nous avons aussi fait la connaissance de son père. Ce dernier est aussi très accueillant et a plein d’histoires intéressantes à raconter. Merci Jannicke d’avoir agrémenté notre séjour.

We had a fantastic stay at Lars' house! The views from the modern jacuzzi were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large, well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a pleasure. We especially appreciated the use of the nearby boat for a bit of adventure on the water, and the charming hiking cabin up on the mountain was a cosy retreat to warm up in if needed. Don’t miss the nearby Likholefossen waterfall—it's definitely worth a visit! Lars was a friendly and generous host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

Das Haus ist sehr modern renoviert und schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war super bequem, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Lage am See war super ruhig und perfekt zum abschalten. Uns hat es dort gefallen, allerdings könnte das Haus an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas Liebe vertragen. Die Kommunikation mit Benjamin war super und er hat schnell auf Rückfragen reagiert.

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

Es war alles so wie beschrieben in der Unterkunft, es gab keine Beanstandung. Halvard hat immer schnell geantwortet, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort.

Because of an unexpected change in the schedule of the boat from Bergen to Balestrand, I had to arrive around noon whereas the apartment wasn't supposed to be available until 5 pm. The hosts were very gracious and had the place ready hours ahead of schedule, which I greatly appreciate.

Tor-Ove was an exceptional host with an apartment that exceeded our expectations. From the striking picture windows looking out to the fjord, to smart and modern accommodations, the apartment provided a stunning setting for our first visit to Norway. Tor-Ove went above and beyond to make our stay special and a truly exceptional experience. We recommend in the highest regard.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in der nichts fehlt! Die Ausstattung war super. Sehr sauber und gut riechend. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Über die Einladung zum Abendessen haben wir uns sehr gefreut 😊. Es hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße 🤗

Bard's place is an excellent choice for us. Good location and even a great idea driving around to neighboring places. Private, quiet place and clean. The sauna is my plus favorite. Bard has complete amenities in the apartment. I highly recommend.

Sehr schöne große Wohnung in der es an nichts fehlt. Ruhig gelegen auf dem Apfelhof. Wir wurden sehr Nett empfangen und hatten sogar eine Flasche selbstgemachten Apfelsaft im Kühlschrank. Und das Bett war super bequem😊

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

We had an Wonderful stay at Torill's place! If you have a car, it's a perfect location--beautiful view and peaceful area away from the tourist crowds in Flam, but close enough to get to the activities very easily... The unit is plenty large with tons of nice touches from Torill to make us feel right at home, and she was very informative, helpful, and thoughtful... We had a very nice meal at the hotel just a short walk up the street (somewhat expensive), and the bakery in town is Awesome! The place is clean, the bed very comfortable, and great water pressure in the shower, which was easy to regulate (although the shower enclosure ties for the smallest we've ever experienced)... Highly recommend booking here if wanting to visit this spectacular area!

Miejsce czyste jak na foto. Proponowałbym jak w cywilizowanym świecie dać pościele i ręczniki wówczas byłoby na 6 gwiazdek. A opłata za prąd rozwala. Proponuje do ceny dodać kilka NOK i każdy będzie zadowolony.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Hilde. Die Lage direkt am Fjord ist sehr schön. Das Haus war für uns mit 10 Personen absolut ausreichend groß. Alles war sehr sauber und schön. Das Boot, das zusätzlich gemietet werden kann, ist einfach aber in sehr gutem Zustand und hat einen 20 PS-Motor. Als Angler kann ich sagen: Der Fjord ist ein absolut hervorragendes Gewässer für Makrele und Seelachs. Hilde hat uns zusätzlich tolle Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Danke!

Such an amazing location in Olden and we loved being right on the water. Couldn’t think of a better place to stay. We loved spending time outside in the jacuzzi and using the fire pit. The town is nearby and the home included everything we needed.

Vi hade en stor familj från Sverige som bodde hos Ketil’s hytte. Redan från bokningen var det redan mycket ändringar från vår sida, men upplevde hans kommunikation och flexibilitet fantastiskt. Det tackar vi för. Ved ankomst var Ketil på plats för att välkomna oss och förklarade hur allting fungerade samt besvarade alla våra frågor. Vi fick även låna hans båt och vara på hans båtplats där vi kunde grilla och SUP:a och bada. Det var en bra idé att vi fick komma en dag tidigare. Vi njöt verkligen allting! Huset var välstädat. Vi förväntade oss inte att få håndklær och sengetøy så allt var verkligen utöver våra förväntningar. Vi rekommenderar hytten och vi bokar gärna hos Ketil igen! Mvh Paula & John.

Fabulous views and really responsive hosts. The location is convenient to many places in the region, but requires a solid drive to any of them. We used this as a base for Nordfjordeid, Loen, Stryn, Geiranger, and Bjorkedalen. You could easily get to Jostalbreen north entrance as well. All of these places are 30-60 mintues away, but we found it convenient. The views are stunning and it feels very private despite what it looks like on streetview/google Maps.

Stunning location right at the edge of the bay with beautiful views of the sea on one side and steep mountain slopes on the other. Its a nice quiet village with lovely plantations and fields. The house has big glass windows to enjoy the exceptional views. The place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utencils, crockery and all the required kitchen gadgets. There was enough place for the 8 of us to not feel crowded inside. There was enough place to park our 2 vehicles. Every single detail was thought through. The linen and towels were clean. Absolutely nothing I could think of that was missing or not up to the mark. 10/10 for me.

Dette er vårt andre år på Villa Fjellheim i forbindelse med vår årlige skitur. Villaen er perfekt for både store og mindre reisefølger, og er utstyrt med gode praktiske løsninger fra ende til annen. Her er det lett å bo! Villaen ligger idyllisk til med utsikt over Nigardsbreen, og har en sjarmerende atmosfære til avslapning og hygge etter aktive dager i fjellet. Beliggenheten gir også det beste utgangspunktet for aktive dager med skiløyper, turstier og fjelltopper rett utenfor døren! Vertskapet er ryddig og hyggelige, og vi gleder oss allerede til å bo på Villa Fjellheim igjen! 5/5
