Michael und Louise waren sehr gute und freundliche Gastgeber und wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sehr ruhig. Die Räumlichkeiten eignen sich sehr gut, um sich nach einem anstrengenden Besichtigungstag zu erholen.Wir können die Unterkunft allen empfehlen, die hier Urlaub machen möchten!

Helen's place is an ideal countryside getaway. The cottage has everything a family of 4 can desire for. Downstairs fireplace with logs and coal provided were an added bonus. The fridge came stocked with all the necessities for making breakfast. Tea and coffee and fresh milk and juice were also provided. Would necessary consider staying again, and would bring family or friends along next time.

Couldn’t have expected more from a host! Patrick was available, accommodating with any requests or questions, provided a detailed informational book for everything from hiking trails, maps, tourist attractions, local restaurants (with menus), gave personal recommendations for all activities and the surrounding venues. The cottage was the warmest hidden gemstone in the Irish countryside with gorgeous gardens, outstanding artwork, rolling open mountainside fields and a host with a wealth of cultural knowledge!

My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

We had an amazing stay at Margo’s place! We had planned to go out but upon arrival decided to stay in. We had take away on the back deck area and then had some fun multi generational pool games. We would highly recommend Margo’s place

I wish we could have stayed another night! Beautiful location and a clean, comfortable place to stay. Martina was responsive via text and we got to meet John in person - he was lovely energy. The breakfast box was AMAZING and the cherry on top of a welcoming Irish experience I was looking for. We even got to feed the herd with John before leaving! 10/10 would highly recommend this peaceful stay to anyone.

A remote and peaceful getaway.

What delightful hosts are Irene and David! Their home is fascinating and full of their family history and charm. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed including a lovely view out of every window. Thanks for lovely unforgettable experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was cozy and still modern with some great utilities. Max was amazing and responsive, able to answer our questions and explain everything.

lovely quiet area, beautiful view. it was nice that it was separate from the main house, as we had plenty of privacy. check in was easy as thr door was left open for us. the area was very rural but still not too far from the town (we only had bikes and had no problem getting in and out of town)

Dit was voor ons het tweede bezoek en zeker weer de moeite waard. Eigenlijk hoef je nergens naartoe want het huisje, de omgeving en het privé strand zouden al genoeg zijn voor heerlijke ontspanning. Er is echter genoeg te beleven zowel in de directe omgeving als daar buiten. binnen een omtrek van éen tot anderhalf uur zijn allerlei ( ook hondvriendelijke) uitjes en avonturen te vinden. De hosts zijn fantastisch. De honden van de eigenaren zijn lief en zeer sociaal met mens en dier. Deze accommodatie is geweldig en zeker een aanrader!

Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Couch und das Bett waren sehr bequem. Die Fensterfront ein schönes Plus. Alles war sehr sauber, sehr ruhig, erholsam, entspannend, gemütlich. Unsere Gastgeber sehr grosszügig und freundlich. Alles war perfekt wie beschrieben. War ideal für unsere 2 Nächte. Herzlichen Dank! Unsere Ausflugsempfehlung: Corlea Trackway Visitor Center!!!

Lovely, spacious and well equipped cottage in a beautiful part of Ireland. With the Wicklow Mountains and the Wicklow Way nearby for sightseeing and hiking, this is a great place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality. We had a wonderful stay.

Mid-June we stayed 10 nights in Lee & Mike's cottage. A very good choice, as it turned out. The cottage has been completely renovated with style using solid materials and all the comforts. We have rarely had a rental cottage that was so completely equipped: kitchen equipment, and importantly, excellent beds. Lee is a friendly hostess who lives on a large sheep farm across the street. Always ready for a chat with good tips, without being pushy. The cottage is located near Durrow Bridge, halfway along the Waterford Greenway between Waterford and Glengarvan. Access to the cycle path is 350 metres from the house. We brought our own bikes and were able to explore the Greenway in both directions without having to complete it right away. This place is an absolute must!

spent a relaxing 2 days in the pod, didn't actually want to leave it. Even when it rains there its relaxing, listening to the rain and sitting inside looking out at nature. Thank you Michael and kerry for the opportunity to enjoy a stay at your pod.

Jim's place was everything we hoped for. Jim is such a kind, friendly man who makes you feel so welcome. We loved browsing Jim's many collections & meeting all his animals. The outside seating area was a huge bonus & as the weather was so good, we could have happily spent our day there. We only had 2 nights at Jim's but really hope to come back sometime and spend longer there

Have stayed here 3 times now and it never fails! Beautiful place with everything we needed and more. A short drive into newcastle town for some food or you can order to the house on Newcastle Eats which John suggested. Hot tub was great and underneath a shelter perfect for irish weather! Outdoor sofa was a great touch. Looking forward to my next stay :)

I can’t say enough about Tommy’s place!! Beautiful views, peaceful. The house was immaculate, spacious, and the beds comfortable. Tommy was an amazing host and shared so much knowledge of what to do and where to eat. Maggie May’s and Ken’s Oriental were delicious.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful views, cosy and clean house. The fireplace with plenty of logs was a plus. Also loads of space for our dogs to run about. Would definitely stay again.

The cottage felt like a hug-warm and loving. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is an electric mattress pad in case you get cold. The bathroom has a modern shower, very large and soft towels with a comfort height toilet. Catherine made a delicious apple pie and some brown bread. The fridge was stocked with staples and the cottage had everything you could ever need. The gardens and outdoor seating areas are amazing. Loved listening to the birds while watching the sun rise and set. Catherine gave us lots of ideas and recommendations on what to do in the area. She is a delight and truly makes the stay here even more special. Highly recommend this place. It’s a 12 on a scale 1-10! We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at this adorable cottage in the country! It was incredibly comfortable, spotless, and so well-equipped with everything we needed. Peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true home away from home. Highly recommend!
