What can I say about Crow’s Hermitage that the other reviews haven’t already captured? If you’re considering other options—stop looking. You’ve found the perfect place. As many others have noted, the photos can’t possibly convey the enchantment that settles over you the moment you arrive. From the character of the home to the serene outdoor spaces to the thousand-year-old parish next door, it feels like stepping into the pages of a fairytale. When it comes to hosts, Colm is in a league of his own. He went above and beyond with directions, thoughtful recommendations, and any request we made. By the end of our stay, we didn’t just feel cared for—we felt like family.

Christophers place was perfect in every way. My family stayed here the night before my sister's wedding in Lisnavagh and it was ideal. Plenty of space and amenities and Christopher was a great host. Highly recommend

Think “The Holiday” (Cameron Diaz/Jude Law), perfect little home in the European countryside. Stunning! I honestly cannot say enough about this gorgeous home. We were a group of 8 American middle-aged adults who wanted to enjoy the Irish countryside on our way to our first Irish wedding. This was the perfect location. We stopped in Newcastle and grabbed charcuterie, champagne, and beer and spent the late afternoon and evening sitting outside enjoying the beauty around us. The home is huge and perfect for a large group. The beds were comfy, the kitchen huge and well-equipped, and the patio a dream. I highly recommend this home and hosts. 5 stars all around.

As a solo traveller I felt safe in the cottage and in Skerries. This cottage is such a beautiful peace of Ireland and I was grateful to stay. Hoping to return next year.

Spotlessly clean Airbnb. Noeleen was very communicative both before and during our stay - she couldn't have been more helpful. The brown bread, fresh eggs, jams & butter were a lovely added touch. Beautiful, peaceful setting and a fantastic area of Ireland to explore.

What an absolutely beautiful stay! The house is beautiful and on so much stunning land. John personally came down and gave us a little map with all the paths we could walk on the land which was so helpful. It was a good HQ point as we went on a lot of day trips and I could not recommend this cottage more! Can’t wait to come back!

This is a wonderful place. Everything was very clean. The grounds were beautiful. There is a lovely river path you can walk to town on. Several restaurants and shops in town. The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions. Although it is right next to a lodge, you can sit on back porch and listen to the peaceful river without hearing anyone. I wish we had more time here. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

What a beautiful stay start to finish! As for Rose our host she couldn't do enough to make us all comfortable and settled. We all cant wait to return to this absolute gem of a property! Thank you Rose.

Jim's place was everything we hoped for. Jim is such a kind, friendly man who makes you feel so welcome. We loved browsing Jim's many collections & meeting all his animals. The outside seating area was a huge bonus & as the weather was so good, we could have happily spent our day there. We only had 2 nights at Jim's but really hope to come back sometime and spend longer there

We had a lovely time at Caroline's place, it had everything we needed.. very cozy.. comfortable bed and a very peaceful nights sleep.. thanks Caroline!

We had a fabulous few days staying at The Stables. Breda and Joe have a lovely country property. We love the goodie left for us from Breda. Scones and bread both home made. The cottage is so well equipped with most things you’d need to get by but a Centra only a few minutes away has lots of options. The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows and the fluffiest feather doona. The cottage is heated but we felt we didn’t need heating on as it’s very warm inside anyway but great if it turns cold. A bonus is the washer and dryer, we’d not been able to wash for several day so felt like all home comforts were covered. We loved the kitchen and dining area, great for preparing our meals. Breda has a vegetable and herb garden which she was happy for us to use, I made good use of salad stuff and herb. We got to meet Joe who was brings the horses back into the sheds, we got to see an 8 day old foal, such a highlight for me coming from Australia’s beach scene. We highly this place Fiona

Vivienne was very friendly and accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure we were settled and comfortable and was very happy to help with suggestions for things to do in the surrounding area. We had a lovely visit

Family with kids stayed at Bridget’s for a week. When we arrived, Bridget greeted us out front with home-baked biscuits and bread and a fresh bowl of fruit. The home had a back patio which made it convenient for our kids to play outside. It was clutter free and easy to maintain cleanliness (especially with kids). It also had space in front of the unit to play and walk around in grass and with flowers. Bridget was kind and responsive throughout the trip. She provided us with a pack n play and high chair. She also had eating utensils for little kids available. The home was easy to feel comfortable in and we would certainly book again. Only heads up (that has nothing to do with the actual booking) is being prepared for winding roads leading to the Airbnb. Don’t ride in the back of the car if you have motion sickness.

Thanks Brigitte for a fantastic stay in your granny flat. It was perfect! I really enjoyed my time there. It was extremely comfortable, warm & well equipped for my week there. I felt very safe and right at home. Thanks too for the food & drinks you left on my arrival. What an unexpected surprise. It meant I could relax as soon as I walked in, without having to rush out to buy supplies. Very thoughtful of you. I would highly recommend Brigitte's place and plan to return one day. We opted to stay out of the bustle of Dublin for the peaceful vistas of Fethard and Selina ‘s AirBnB. So glad we did. Parking by the door. Phew! Well appointed kitchen/dining looking out onto lawn and flowered garden. Ample bedroom and closet space. Hot shower. An attentive host who, although called away for family health reasons, wrote a personalised card with important info for our arrival. She joined us later. A modern, comfortable AirBnB hosted by really nice people. This is a good one.

Had the best few nights here. Maria was so lovely and welcoming. The views were amazing and the place was spotless. We loved feeding the ducks and playing with the puppy. Can’t wait to come back

Fantastic host, lovely stay. Clean, quaint, nice location with a wonderful cafe on the same block. Easy walk to city center, easy transportation, safe, would HIGHLY recommend staying here again and would so so myself if back in Dublin.

Wir waren bereits zweimal bei Deborah zu Gast. Die Unterkunft ist komfortabel und gemütlich. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ihr Hof bietet groß und klein einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Bis nach Kilmore Quay sind es mit den Auto ca. 7 min., dieser Stopp lohnt sich definitiv. Kilometer langer Sandstrand mit deinen Dünen und ein gemütliches Hafenstädtchen laden zum verweilen und schönen schönen Spaziergängen ein. In der näheren Umgebung vom Cottage gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten was zu essen. Cottage und Umgeben sind sehr zu empfehlen.

2nd time staying at Elaine's en route to/from ferry while bikepacking. The suite is spacious, bright and very nicely furnished in a peaceful location. Elaine leaves a generous array of tasty breakfast options which is particularly appreciated when leaving early to make transport connections. Highly recommended and I will be returning.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Welmie war perfekt! Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und alles war absolut sauber. Sie war sogar so lieb und hat uns Müsli, Milch, Kaffee und andere Dinge bereitgestellt, sodass wir nicht gleich einkaufen gehen mussten. Für unsere Hündin standen Wasser- und Futternapf sowie Leckerlies bereit. Wir haben uns absolut wohlgefühlt und waren sogar ein wenig traurig, dass wir nur 3 Tage in der Unterkunft gebucht haben. Wir empfehlen Welmie zu 100 Prozent!

This was a beautiful apartment in the country to relax. We actually did a lot of sightseeing in the area. Very comfy bed and two toilets! Our host was gracious and thoughtful.
