Modern apartment about 2 km from Lom city center. It is idyllically located on a farm with a nice outdoor area. There are many hiking opportunities nearby. Everything from trips right out from the residence and longer trips such as Galdhøpiggen and Besseggen, Jotunheimen, Reinheimen and Breheimen national park with many mountains. For those with skis, there is access to a ski shed with “skiwise” to take care of the skis. There is a garden and lawn around the house and it is easy to walk down to Lom city center. We are a family with children with active children. Some noise must be expected.

There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Here you can go straight out into miles of cross-country trails, go alpine skiing, or use the cabin as the perfect starting point for mountain trips in Jotunheimen. Walking distance to Lemonsjøen mountain lodge and café bar Kalven seter. There is room for 2 families. Rented to adult responsible people. No smoking and no pets allowed. By further agreement, the canoe can be lent to the tenant. The area is an eldorado for mountain fishing.

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg is beautifully located with a panorama view of Jotunheimen, in the middle of the vibrant and authentic cultural landscape of the mountain village Vågå. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm. The first floor is preserved as it was when the house was built, while the second floor is renovated securing our guests a comfortable stay. Welcome to farm!

Enjoy a weekend or holiday at Lemonsjøen in a cozy apartment for family or friends. It has three bedrooms with double beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a sauna and a private terrace. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning can be ordered to make your stay easier. TV and Wi‑Fi are included, and cleaning supplies are available. The apartment must be cleaned unless final cleaning is ordered.

New cabin, completed in Sept 2023, is rented out. Lemonsjøen is called the gateway to Jotunheimen. Here there are opportunities for those who like mountains and nature. Cross-country ski trails are just outside the door, and a short drive to the alpine slope. Quiet and peaceful area, with lots of wildlife right outside the cabin wall. NB: Pets are not allowed due to allergies.
