New cottage in quiet surroundings on Lake Lemon

New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås. You have the staff cage to yourselves. The cabin fits 4 per, in 2 small bedrooms. Duvet/ pillow for 4 pcs. No bedding. Simple equipment kitchen, with fridge- oven-microswash sink. Outdoor shower. Nice hiking opportunities: 40min to Gjendesheim/ Besseggen Short distance to Lemonsjøen mountain lodge- Kalvenseter- Brimisæter- Electric bike rental Bike &Hike Jotunheimen.

Description Spacious cottage with loft. Here it is possible to walk straight out for miles with cross country tracks, ski alpine, or use the cabin as the perfect starting point for mountain hiking in Jotunheimen. Walking distance to Lemonsjøen mountain lodge and cafe bar Kalven seats. It can accommodate 2 families. Rented to responsible adult people. No smoking or pets allowed. Upon agreement, a boat on a trailer and a canoe can be lent to the tenant. The area is an eldorado for fishing in the mountains.

Bedroom 1: Double bed 2nd bedroom: Double bed downstairs, single bed upstairs Bedroom 3: Double bed downstairs, single bed upstairs Bedroom 4: Double bed on the second floor/loft. Access by ladder. The cabin must be washed out when you leave so it is ready for the next guest. There are pillows and duvets, but linen and towel must be brought.

New cabin, finished in Sept 2023 is rented out. Lemon Lake is called the gateway to Jotunheimen. Here there are opportunities for those who like mountains and nature. Ski slopes cross country skiing is right outside the door, and a short drive to the alpine slope. Quiet and peaceful area, with lots of wildlife right outside the cabin wall. Note: Pets not allowed due to allergies.

Simple cabin close to the water

Very quiet and quiet place close to the water where you can really relax and sleep well. Simple standard with wood-burning stove, gas stove, bio toilet suitable for everyone who wants to live a bit simple. Very good starting point for hiking both on foot and with bike in the nearby area, Jotunheimen, Rondane etc. Includes bathing jetty and boat.

This is a great place for a family holiday. It is safe for children and the toys provided were a great bonus. We enjoyed evening walks from the cabin and day cross-country skiing from various places close-by. It is a warm cosy place i would recommend.

As last year, we are now very satisfied with this comfortable holiday home. Communication is very smooth. The location is very good, you can do everything. You never get tired of the gorgeous landscape that surrounds the cabin. We got a moose and two deer visiting several nights. We will definitely come back!

Sleek and stylish furnishings tied with the humbleness of the log cabin proved to be such a peaceful, rejuvenating yet modern home environment. Your own cabin on the mountain

We had a short but nice stay at the cabin! Definitely recommended for nature lovers! In the direct surroundings around the cabin, red deer and moose run, live the snow fowls, hare, gold pleves and the foxes, and many more species! You won't always see them, but there are plenty of tracks to be found. We even heard the shrubbing balts at night! All in all a very pleasant and quiet stay, with a beautiful view. If you climb further up to the top, you have a clear view of Jotunheim, Rondane and Dovrefjell (including Snøhetta). Also recommended! We had a lovely time. Thanks Herman!
