Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Les Vans

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Martine is a superb, incredible hostess, welcoming and very nice! P'tit moulin is made with lots of love, taste and character, homemade products offered, very well-equipped, guides to the regions and their stories, and clean! Everything was perfect - thank you so much.

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. We really enjoyed this stay and I highly recommend this timeless place. Thanks, both of you.

Very nice host. Beautiful place. Beautiful little house with a lot of character, nestled in a beautiful forest. Beautiful views. Very good meal prepared by Christelle. We were lucky enough to also taste a very good deer that her hunting husband gave us. Beautiful discovery, we'll be back with pleasure!

Recipe for a happy time: Book this cottage for at least a week. Dive into the book and DVD collection and go to the Tuesday market in Villefort and the Saturday market in Les Vans (!). Cook with the delicious local products in this super cozy kitchen. Enjoy the tranquility and take a walk along the river, you should not go far to be able to enjoy the overwhelming nature. Long walks are optional, and if you burn the fireplace out of season and enjoy the crackling fire, the idyll is complete.

We had a wonderful time at the little house. Célia did a great job renovating the house perfectly and keeping the authentic style. Such a great place to stay in the Cevennes. Especially the rooftop-place was breathtaking. Looking forward to coming back one day! Thanks a lot!

First and foremost the drive up to saumane is beautiful. The hosts farm is simply wonderful. You are met by two donkeys that love to say hello as you pass. the lodge is perched on the side of a hill with a great view of the valley. Theres a small wood stove perfect for late nights. Plenty of out side lounge space. Very airy with all the sliding doors open. It is a great little getaway. There is a cat named chestnut who is a lover of cuddles, she was our best friend! The bed was quite comfortable and it was amazing sleeping with all the doors open. Glamping at its finest! In town there was a small bar and restaurant Le Panier Fleuri. There you will meet Jack. A top tier bartender/owner from London turned local legend. The drinks and food were phenomenal and the whole crew made us feel like we were family. The whole experience is quite euphoric! Shirley's apartment was perfect for the four of us with a dog to enjoy the fantastic Labeaume and the great area for a week. The attractively and practically furnished apartment and especially the terrace were even a little more spacious than expected and pleasantly bright through the window front and skylight. For us it was no problem, but less mobile or particularly noise-sensitive people should note that the apartment is located at the back of the village square with a (very cozy) bar and is accessible on the second floor via two external stairs. Shirley was a perfect host, she was always helpful, flexible and easy to reach when needed. 100% recommendation!

An exceptional stay in an exceptional place. A big thank you to Yann for his warm welcome, conversation, kindness and advice. We spent a few wonderful days in Vézénobres. The house, the outside, the village… everything was perfect. Go there with your eyes closed, for a stay in paradise. 😍

The four of us (with two children) spent one night in Philippes apartment while passing through. Everything was as described and we were able to recover very well for the onward journey.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

The accommodation offered by Florian corresponded in all respects to our expectations. It allowed us to experience a beautiful break and create beautiful memories with family and friends. We really enjoyed the natural setting, the garden, the house, spacious, which allows both to experience friendly moments and to isolate yourself if necessary. Both children and teenagers quickly took ownership of the space and enjoyed the outdoors as well as the upstairs game room, which includes toys, board games and a library stocked for all types of readers. The rooms are pleasant, at a distance from each other, which allows the early risers not to disturb the others! The house is nice, clean and tidy, you feel very good there right away. The old stone keeps it cool, which is very pleasant! We are delighted with our stay at Florian's, whom we thank for his welcome and availability and will be happy to come back!!

We had a super nice week in this beautiful holiday home. We were welcomed by the owners with the stove already on and some goodies on the table. The owners live next to the holiday accommodation and they will give you a warm welcome. There was also friendly contact during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with lots of touches. Really a dream house with a large garden and views. It is very quietly located and you really feel at home. The village of Labeaume can be visited on foot, is a nice walk from the house. We also went to Avignon for a day, a short drive, but worth it. The Indy Park climbing park is also recommended. The bakery and a small supermarket are close by, in Ruoms you will find a large supermarket. There is plenty to do in the area. Dear Laure and Benoït, Thank you for the super nice week we were allowed to spend in your holiday home!

The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and a pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very rural but well suited as a starting point for excursions. Fabrice's tips and hints were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and there is everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

Everything was perfect during this week! Fabienne and Jean-Philippe are very nice people. The welcome we received on arrival was of high quality and their availability throughout the stay was flawless. The house in the middle of the natural park is ideal for getting away.
