Beachfront holiday rental in Levy County

What a great place and wonderful hosts. Lisa and Brian were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of recommendations for restaurants and best places for sunsets. Our cabin was much bigger than I expected and very clean and comfortable. The screened in area in the back looked out on the water and Cedar Key is a bird paradise. We found some good restaurants and the Lowkey Hideaway and Tiki Bar was a riot. Full of locals, beautiful sunset, funky atmosphere, bar cat and great live music. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily go back.

This place was fantastic!!! Old Florida at its best. Kayaks had great back support and the Redfish were everywhere. I had no idea Cedar Key has so much history, very interesting. The local restaurants are a seafood lovers dream. The only disappointment was having to go home. I could have stayed all summer. Can’t wait to go back!!!

We loved our stay. The home is private with nothing but treetops and the bay out all of the windows. The neighborhood is very quiet - we hardly saw another person on our whole side of the island during our stay, even on long walks. We loved kayaking during high tide (there was a perfect launch spot), fishing from the dock (the fish cleaning station and hose came in very handy), and sitting on the porch overlooking the bay (there was a gate so our dog could sit there with us too). The house is a bit small but perfect for a couple or small family. We went into town a few times - tiki bar for pina coladas, fish tacos, and live music, Steamers for local clams, the bakery for donuts. Highly recommend all three! There aren't any grocery stores remotely near by and there are just a few restaurants so plan and pack accordingly (kitchen is well equipped!). Also, definitely bring strong bug spray. The little no-see-ums don't bite badly but they are annoying and all over. But worth it!

Our stay at this Cedar Keys property was absolutely wonderful. The private setting offered stunning sunset views that we enjoyed in complete seclusion. Our small dog loved having the freedom to roam around, which was a joy to watch. The property was extremely well-stocked with everything we needed - even overstocked, which was a pleasant surprise. Katie's advice to bring all our groceries was spot on and much appreciated. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a private getaway to truly relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Cedar Keys.

Kate’s home was perfect. My family and I just wanted a relaxing weekend near the water. We got that and some. Driving down to the airport and watching the planes take off was entertaining for all of us. Walking around town and eating ice cream was delicious. Awesome scented candles from the gift shops. We will be back‼️ Thank you for the hospitality Kate.

We had a great time. Lots of fishing. Everything was clean. We got to see dolphins coming in. Caught a lot of fish. If you are not from around here or anywhere salt water, be aware of the biting gnats. Great food, sunset is amazing. The tides go up and down, but the birds are amazing. We will be back after the summer. Spring time is the best.

This is the perfect location for sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins playing in the gulf. Easy walk into town. Clean, with every you need for a relaxing stay.

This is not the place to stay if you’re looking for an over commercialized, overbuilt, loud party town. However, if like us, you are in need of a quiet getaway this is the perfect place! We spent an entire day on the private beach watching the dolphins play. Then went and rented kayaks another day to go out and play with them. There are DOZENS of them off the patio. The town is quaint and welcoming and Katie made many recommendations about where we should go to visit and eat. We felt right at home and can’t wait to return.

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It was clean and decorated nicely. the kitchen had everything we needed and it had a little balcony with beautiful views. We saw many dolphins while we were there which was a nice treat. The bed was comfortable and it was very peaceful and relaxing. We definitely will be returning to stay here again!

Love spending time in Horseshoe. By far the best condo we have rented. Easy check in and out. No issues whatsoever. Will definitely rent again!

The place was awesome, very clean, morning coffee with sunrise over water. The bed could use a pillow top, it was pretty hard. Nice easy walk to town, very peaceful, nice people, we enjoyed the town. The only complaint was pool was shut down will we were there and hot tub was still broken from last storm, hoping for a some sort of refund. We will probably try staying again in a couple years when fix town up from the hurricanes.

The place was Beautiful. Plenty of parking spots for our vehicle and Golf Cart. Everything is within walking distance. Restaurants and Stores were beautiful with plenty of cute nostalgic things to purchase. 2nd Street Eatery was DELICIOUS. Loved having breakfast with the family daily. Prickly Palm had AMAZING Tasting Smoothies , coffee, Muffins and Pastries and lots of other drinks. The staff were Exceptionally welcoming.. We LOVE Cedar Key and can't wait to return soon. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Home.

The house was very clean and plenty of room for family. Town was nice , even though they’re trying to rebuild after the last storm that hit them.

Had a wonderful stay in Cedar Key at Shirley’s place! Saw a rainbow almost every morning. We brought our boat and had a place to park it on the premises. Very nice relaxing vacation!

Excellent waterfront location with beautiful sunsets. The place was very clean and easy to find. We stayed with 4 adults and a small child and all of us were comfortable. Mindy was helpful whenever we needed anything. We would stay again.

We loved Aunt May’s cottage. Perfect views of the gulf and everything was perfect for my family. Thank you and will return soon!!

Great place to stay.

What an amazing view. I'm honestly not sure how you could beat it. Kingfishers, pink spoonbills and osprey everywhere not to mention a night sky that will blow your mind.

Couple days of getting away with my wife. Great place, great view, and close to everything. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing time in Cedar Key.

Katie was amazing! Giving us recommendations and letting us know about local stores prior to our arrival. The house was so clean! We truly enjoyed our time and definitely will be back

This is a beautiful place! From the ease of check in to a relaxing glass of wine on the deck, it was a perfect getaway. Katie was always available for questions and check on us. The condo is outstanding. From the amazingly comfortable bed to the fully stocked kitchen, this condo checked all the boxes. It is in a quiet, peaceful location, but convenient to all the local restaurants. The view of the water from the deck is so peaceful. Perfect for a good book and a glass of wine! We are definitely planning a return in the fall!
