Jason was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions we had. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed The area is quiet with lots of nice spots to walk and amenities close by

We had a wonderful stay! We love the location right on Lake Huron. Although it was chilly during our stay, the amount of water toys looked fantastic! We had fun hunting for interesting rocks and enjoyed playing family games together. We appreciated the later check out that allowed us to eat lunch together before we left. We also appreciated the ability to check in later at night. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and son spend the days with our granddaughter. They loved the ease of walking to the lake and the peacefulness. They said it was very clean and just what they needed. Thank you.

The view of Anchor Bay is amazing. It was very peaceful to sit next to the water and read a book. I came up for a fishing trip with my husband and 2 of our fishing buddies. After a long day on the lake it was nice to sit out back and grill, fish or tell stories about the day. Will definitely stay here again. I also chose here for pet friendly but ended up not bringing the fur kids

This is a amazing place to stay. I highly recommend. Great location and can walk to everything. Will definitely be coming back.

I wish I could give this home and host 10 stars!!!!! This was a beautiful home AND location for my little family of 4. Gwen was a fantastic host and an incredibly thoughtful person to stay with. The home is well appointed with everything you need to feel right at home the moment you walk in. Beds were comfy and the home was spotless. We'd stay with Gwen again in a heartbeat!!!

This place and the memories made at the Woodland Getaway will forever be etched into my heart. Me and the love of my life got married today and this beautiful place was chosen to spend our honeymoon at... from the both of us. Loved our stay! Everything was perfectly as described and the host was responsive and gave clear instructions. The views were incredible. We hope to come back in warmer months. Favorite part was the master bathroom upstairs. Heated flooring, a super fancy bidet, a bath perfect to soak in, and a spacious shower (they even provided nice soap that I’m buying for home!)

This was the perfect little mini adventure for me and my kids! Just under 90 minutes away but felt like such a great escape from the daily grind. We easily doordashed Jets pizza and some essentials snacks and beverages when we arrived. The pool house has three screened walls and a ceiling fan, it was the perfect temperature just like the pool and hot tub! The kids enjoyed exploring the property checking out Shena’s collection of unique pets that are very comfortable around people! Everything is clean but you are on a farm that is someone’s home, so you must be willing to see it as a rustic adventure, clean toilet and bathroom but you know, might have to chase some chickens out! The bunk bed was super comfortable, with perfect pillows and the smell of fresh linens! Downtown Almont is a half mile up the street with a bunch of restaurants, donut shop and coffee shop! We will be back when the weather is nice again!

I had a super comfortable stay (enough and more space for a single individual)! Also, both Rajesh and Eric were extremely responsive. The kitchen and bathroom were squeaky clean. The icing on the cake was finding an Edgar Allen Poe themed cafe (The Raven Cafe, on Military/ Main Street) walking distance from the place! :-)

We found this home last year during the death of my father and have stayed multiple times since then. This stay was for my mother's funeral. It feels like home and was very comfortable.

5 Stars - A Peaceful Getaway for the Whole Family. We had an amazing stay at this quiet, secluded Airbnb - truly the perfect spot for our three generations to gather and reconnect. The home was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up for comfort and relaxation. The highlight for everyone was definitely the pool - crystal clear, beautifully maintained, and perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The host was kind and communicative, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We are already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Chantyle’s trailer. The park was great for the kids to bike around and make friends. The pool was super clean and really fun to have along side the ipperwash beach which is beautiful! Paul was amazing at making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. Even took us all on a golf cart tour. The trailer was clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

House was great for our family (adult kids and their partners) getaway, not far from Grand Bend and Sarnia. Quiet home away from home, pool, fire pit, yard games kept everyone busy. Thanks again for our little family vacation spot :)

We enjoyed the living room area and having plenty room to hang out together in addition to the 1/2 bath located on the first floor. Complex was quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come visit our son for a weekend. The house fit 5 of us comfortably and we enjoyed hanging out and not being cramped in hotel rooms. We made appetizers for dinner one night and the kitchen had what we needed.

We stayed in the upstairs apartment of the historic house for two nights, and it was perfect for our weekend with family. Since we spent most of our time at my brother’s home in Lapeer, this Airbnb provided a comfortable and convenient place to return to. It gave our adult daughter the space and home-like comforts she needed while traveling with us—and it was also more affordable than a hotel. Highly recommend!

Jane’s place was the perfect getaway for a long weekend to relax and rewind. Jane was very communicative the whole process. I liked that she had a detailed guidebook for everything you could possibly need to know. The home is spacious with plenty of sleeping room for all our guests and our beloved dog. It’s a very quiet area and was lovely sitting outside listening to the birds chirp. The beach is only a short walk from the home and we caught the sunset two nights while we were there. Weather permitting you can sit outside and enjoy the fire. While we were there we visited the Pinery park which I highly recommend and is only a 20 minute drive if you like trails and hiking. We drove through most of the park making stops along the way. We also visited Ipperwash beach which is a short drive from the home and close to local restaurants and ice cream parlors. We also checked out the herb garden and Cynthia was super helpful!

Fun atmosphere! We really enjoyed our time at the house. Angela communicated well and check in and out was easy. We really enjoyed the animals, they were fun to watch and feed. The house was very cozy and we love a rural home setting so this was perfect!

We had a great weekend getaway for memorial weekend and celebrating my sisters birthday! They went above and beyond and helped decorate the house before arrival and it could not have been more perfect! The boats were great! The house was in tip top shape! I have no complaints and we made amazing memories! The hammock was also an added bonus!!

We booked this place for a summer cottage trip. What an amazing rental this is. Amazing view of the lake from the cottage and it is such a vibe to relax in. The rental was spotless clean when we arrived. Ample sheets, towels, toiletries were provided and Vicki communicated well throughout the trip. This place is even better than the pictures on the listing! Thank you for a great stay Vicki.

The suite was really nice and when we accidentally locked ourselves out they responded so quickly to let us back in, and the attendant was very friendly. Was only a little difficult for us to find the correct entrance as it has two sides. Can walk to piñatas for cheap food!

TJ was very responsive and proactive in making sure my friends and I had a great stay. The space was very clean and well kept. I felt at home in a peaceful neighborhood!

This house was absolutely perfect for my husband, my dog, and me. The backyard was so big, well kept, and I sat out there every morning on the deck watching my pup run and play. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but we did get to sit under the trees with my sister and enjoy the afternoon. Both sides of neighbors were friendly and quiet and because of the layout of the lawn, we could also set ourselves up for privacy.
