Giuseppe and Lisa and their wonderful daughter Marta are the nicest people you will meet in Napoli. All three of them were waiting for us when we arrived. Their tiny house is clean and well prepared and the view from the back porch is beautiful! When we had car troubles during our stay, Giuseppe arranged for a mechanic to come pick up the car and it was fixed the next day. We were invited over for a delicious dinner one night. They truly treated us as their family. We arrived as their guests and left as good friends. This is the place to stay if you want to truly experience the warmth and generosity of the Napoli culture.

The accommodation is clean and tidy, you need to drive from the accommodation to Pozzoli, take subway line 2 to Piazza Cavour station, get off and walk a few minutes to the National Museum of Archaeology of Naples, we take subway line 1 from the new fort, return to Piazza Cavour transfer subway line 2 to get a car to get a car back to the accommodation.There is plenty of free parking in Pozzoli.

La Villa Carmela, hosted by Maria, is wonderful! It is clean, quiet, comfortable (bedroom a/c is great), and well-located. Maria was so responsive and helpful -- quickly answered all of my questions. It is stocked with everything you might need -- bathroom and shower supplies, juice, coffee, water, and some breakfast items. The area does not have a lot of things to walk to (and the streets are narrow and busy, most without sidewalks), but Maria and husband Andrea are very helpful with arranging transportation, and there are beaches, restaurants, and archaeological sites nearby that are definitely worth visiting by car (or by walking, if you walk carefully on the side of the road). I felt safe and secure knowing that Maria and Andrea were in the apartment above and able to help with anything I needed. I will definitely use them again if back in the area. This place was the perfect getaway. Quiet, Peaceful, beautiful landscape, nature rich. Waking up to a the aroma from the citrus trees was all that. We'd like to keep "La Casa en Campagna" secret but It deserves to be shared. The unit was spacious, homey, and Maurizio left us freshly picked oranges! Maurizio is an exceptional host! Our flight got delayed, and he still stayed up til almost 3 AM to help us get checked in, we can't thank him enough for that. I needed a barber and he made a great recommendation. Food, sites, Maurizio is great resource for information. You may never meet a nicer person, ever! Pozzuoli overall is a swell town, with the best of both worlds (mountains and sea), variety of restaurants (our favorite was Trattoria da Rita), lots of scenic spots, a few miles from Napoli if you want to visit the sites or have a night out. Then you come back to Pozzuoli to recharge. Highly recommend!!
