The village is cozy, close to the sea with numerous parking lots. Policoro is a beautiful country, it offers numerous services, if you need medical assistance for children, it is better to contact local pediatricians for a fee who are very valid because in the emergency room children are managed as adults, they do not have a preferential lane.

place is clean and almost all of the amenities worked perfectly. tv is there, but no stations are available so it's useless. nice small kitchen, and the water heater worked like a charm. some minor issues with the toilet flush and the shower that for some reason wet the floor everytime you use it. outside there's no available space and the little public park seemed forgotten by the local authorities. overall a fine experience and the price was fair at the time I reserved

I spent 3 wonderful days in Policoro at Mrs. Margherita's house. Very kind host, ready to meet all my needs. In particular, Mrs. Margherita was asked for a kindness that I will not mention for privacy. She met the request without batting an eye. A very empathetic and helpful lady. What can we say about Mr. Mimmo, who welcomed us as if we had known each other forever. Mr. Mimmo made us find the apartment in an impeccable way. During our stay, he offered us two baskets of organic fruit, probably from his own land. The peaches and apricots are delicious. He also offered us a bottle of wine from his vineyards... what a treat. The apartment is located right in the center and is equipped with all comforts. Surely if I had to go back to Policoro, I would go back to this apartment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We had a good time. Easy to reach the sea and restaurants by bicycle. There is a small super market nearby and a great cornetteria. Outside you can easily find parking. Only downside, goliardic of course ...some "skulls" in the sloping part of the roof can be pulled sooner or later...
