we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Majo with my family for two weeks in August. The villa itself is beautiful and ideally located in Agia Palagia, just 20 minutes from Heraklion and about the same distance from the airport. The property is brand new and impeccably maintained, featuring five comfortable bedrooms. The upstairs rooms offer stunning sea views, making mornings truly special. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality. Maria, the owner, is incredibly attentive and goes above and beyond to cater to your every need, acting almost like a personal concierge. Whether it's arranging beach trips, restaurant reservations, or even a manicure, Maria has it covered. And the massage—simply the best I've ever had! Rena, who looks after the villa, prepares and serves delicious breakfasts daily and cooks amazing dinners in their charming wine room, separate from the main house. Her culinary skills are outstanding. I highly recommend villa Majo. Perfect stay !

A beautiful Crete getaway in a great home. Charikleia will always be there for you to answer your questions, give you good recommendations and even bring some traditional sweets. The accommodation is very well located, quiet and relaxing with all the equipment to be comfortable during the stay. You have nearby not even a 5-minute walk to a small convenience store and a 10-minute walk to the beach and small restaurants (be careful in early November only 4 open restaurants). To get to Elafonisi or Balos, plan to drive 3h10 and 3h45. For a family of three we really enjoyed this largely livable place as a family. The pool is a real plus. It was a great vacation and I really recommend this place. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Thanks for the three of us!

The house and the landlord Gorgios are great and highly recommended. The house is quiet, very clean, has a great garden and everything for a relaxing holiday. Gorgios had even provided a basic supply of food and drink for the first evening and brought us rolls and strawberries over a short visit. Also, Gorgios was very flexible - thank you for everything. We will be back.

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

Giorgio’s place was beautiful and well maintained. He was always very responsive (Ben when we locked ourselves out) and gave us recommendations for the local super market and an AMAZING place for dinner. The home was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view and had everything we needed.

We felt very comfortable at Manos. Despite the very late arrival, he showed us everything and we were very happy about the fresh fruit and the bottle of wine in the refrigerator. Once, when the key got stuck in the door, he came after a short time and took care of the lock. We would love to come back and wish him a successful season.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, just like the pictures on the website. We absolutely loved our stay here! Although there were other guests at the resort, we didn't see them at all, so it felt like we were the only people there. The facilities, including the pool, sun beds both in and out of the pool, which were incredible! Stefani showing us around when we first got there and explained that cleaning service was included, which we didn't expect. This made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. The attention to detail made our stay exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely recommend the villa to our friends and family. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

He gave us helpful tips on where to shop, which taverns are nearby and where to find things. The contact was consistently straightforward and reliable. We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

The apartment is very pleasant : clean, modern, spacious and perfectly equipped. The small balcony and roof terrace are a real plus and add to the apartment's charm. Erietta and Manolis provide numerous recommendations for discovering Heraklion and its best addresses, which is particularly appreciated. Marianna’s place was great - we had a very pleasant time there. The view over the Mediterranean Sea is stunning, and the location is easy to access. Her mum, Sonia, kindly made us a local pie upon arrival, and she was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and it’s only about 20 minutes to the Heraklion city centre. Highly recommended!
