House holiday rentals in L'Île aux Moines

A beautiful house within walking distance of Barbizon village. The garden was pristine and a wonderful spot for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had lovely nooks for relaxing with a book. Helen was very responsive and the guide left at the house included all the necessary information. We hope to return.

A very beautiful family farmhouse in the countryside, in a quiet area, 15 minutes from Sens. Full of charm and very well maintained, it is a true haven of peace with family and/or friends. Plethoric and quality equipment, very large swimming pool, terrace in the shade in front of the house and overlooking the swimming pool. Responsive and thoughtful host. We feel good there, only one regret: leaving. Thank you Florence

Jessica and her children's home was perfect for our stay with friends. The children had plenty to enjoy outside (trampoline, swing, balls, etc.) or inside (board games, an ex-tra-or-di-na-ry playroom). Adults also around the spacious terrace, the cozy living room and the quality barbecue (not to mention the jacuzzi). Jessica was a very thoughtful and accommodating host, even by interposed messages. The 5 adults, 3 children and baby who were present during this stay ALL recommend a stay in Poligny :-)!

Beautiful house with a still enchanting garden. Everything was clean and the most important things on site. Laurent asked, without being intrusive, if everything was there and if we were satisfied. In summary, it was very nice and definitely worth a visit. Thanks a bunch

We had a great night in this accommodation that perfectly matches the photos and description. The host is very welcoming, responsive, accommodating and concerned about the well-being of his guests, which is really appreciable. The setting is pleasant and conducive to relaxation: between the jacuzzi, the pool, the ping-pong and the badminton, there is plenty to enjoy! I would recommend it in a second.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Pascal, the location is perfect for groups with all facilities you can imagine. For activities you must look for in the surrounding area. We went kayaking and visited Chateau Fontainebleau, all relative close by. Pascal is very friendly and quick to react to any questions. Would definitely recommend the place to groups who are looking for a quiet and relaxed French experience.

Very nice house on the banks of the Seine, at the gates of Fontainebleau. Very quiet, clean and well-equipped house. A real treat for a rural break. I recommend it.

The place is just amazing and idyllic! Too bad we can't give it 10 stars! The perfect welcome, the host proactive, available and attentive! We had a dream weekend and struggled to leave the place!!! We will do everything to return someday!!!

First experience on Airbnb, which I absolutely do not regret. Our host was available throughout the stay. We were very touched and satisfied with the welcome we received. The master bedroom is beautiful overlooking a magnificent bay window opening. The bathrooms are very stylish and modern. My children loved the movie theater. Add to this the jacuzzi for a moment of relaxation. We enjoyed it. Thanks again to the person who rented us their property. We'll be back for sure. See you soon

The entire accommodation is at our disposal. Located in a quiet environment, the house is spacious and bright, perfectly equipped and perfectly clean. Foosball, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, bikes, a nice garden, everything is done to make the stay enjoyable. I recommend it!!

We had a wonderful time at Matthias and Julie’s place. It’s spotless, comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, the village is peaceful and friendly with the sound of birdsong and scents of honeysuckle and roses all around. We were there to boulder and it’s an easy wander into the beautiful forest to reach the rocks. The local Carrefour carries the basics and there’s a good market on Fridays. We made daily visits to the boulangerie. Our hosts suggested La Papote for dinner - it’s a 30 minute stroll away and absolutely worth it. We hope to stay again.

Melanie is a great host, her cottage is decorated with passion and love, it shows, everything is there to make you feel good and not miss anything. We had a lovely stay at Fabrice's place. The house has a modern kitchen with everything you could need. Bathroom and bedrooms excellent. The house and garden is situated on the river Loigne and is very private. The surrounding nature is beuautiful . The garden is enormous. There is a canoe and a kayak you use. It is difficult to describe how nice the house and surrounding is, we will certainly be back !

I received a very good welcome from Maryline and her spouse Christophe, both very kind. Toutou is also very welcoming and kind. ;-) The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped. All the amenities are there. The town of Moret-sur-Loing is extraordinary to walk around. Lots of beautiful views and a very good restaurant. Totally recommend this Airbnb. Marion was a very helpful host and responded to all of our requests including helping to organise a caterer to deliver a delicious 3 course meal to the accomodation. All other recommendations were also very helpful. The house is beautiful and very child friendly which helped us to relax and enjoy both indoors and outdoors. I would highly recommend this house for larger groups and families.

This house is pure magic. The photos show just the surface-level beauty of it — they do not fully capture the experience of being there. The sense of history, the warmth, charm and character of the space, the way the light bends into the space in different delightful ways all throughout the day, the smell of lavender bushes buzzing with bees, fresh cut pear blossoms in a vase, the utter tranquility. The house is impeccably decorated and maintained, and the host is lovely. The house is located directly across from an ancient church where Joan of Arc attended services! It’s a charming walk into the beautiful town of Provins. Honestly I would have moved in if I could. 10/10
