Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lincoln

another great stay, so glad i found it. Right next to city centre (well, the older part anyway) yet really quiet too. Its pretty perfect for 4-6 people (would fit another if there was a camp bed in the little snug room....?), really roomy and convenient, will certainly be back. Now we have discoivered Cafe Misto next door with great Italian food (cheap, tasy, huge portions) we def look forwards to a return.

Lovely homely cottage a short drive from Lincoln. Peter the host was very responsive and communicated well with us throughout. We were allowed access 2 hours earlier than the allotted time which was great. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay including a welcome pack of breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausages, milk, bread butter and Peter’s own home made honey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the wood burning stove and the outdoor area where we could watch the rabbits and pheasants every day. I would recommend this delightful cottage to anyone coming to beautiful Lincoln. There is so much to see and do!!

Booked accommodation to cover a few days away in Lincoln & to see a concert at the castle. Host was always in touch to ensure a smooth check-in process & supplied some welcome items. Close by were the castle & cathedral & some recommended pubs & restaurants, which I & a friend visited. We certainly chose the right place to stay in the city away from the high street area, which is like any other town/city. Property was unique with its features, quiet & extremely comfortable. I would fully recommend staying in this property, whatever your reasons for travelling to Lincoln.

I can't fault our stay. I came down with my partner and our 14 month old, it was more of a 'base' for us rather than somewhere we were going to spend entire days in as I was down for a course and there is loads to do in the area - especially if your passion is aviation like it is my partners. Immediately they could not have been more accommodating. We were arriving quite late and this was not made to feel like a problem - they made it even easier for us by leaving the property open. Immediately on entry there were many little touches - clearly catered to us from what they knew - which made it all that more special. Books and toys had been left out for our little one, the travel cot was made up perfectly, and even through our stay they really went out of their way to do all that they could. The weather was lovely so we were offered a picnic blanket to go out and use in the garden, just to name one thing. It was the perfect home from home, and we will absolutely be back.

Our stay at Cuthberts Rest, was brilliant. The location was excellent making restaurants and the shopping centre all within walking distance. Lots of things to do within driving distance. The accommodation was of an excellent standard, the beds were comfortable, the bed and household linens clean. Everything you could need was in the accommodation. We would recommend this property wholeheartedly.

Great house, stayed for 1 night when visiting son at uni. Easy walk to the top of steep hill. We parked in The Lawns car park which was £10 for 24 hours. Comfortable, lovely clean house. Perfect for us.

This gorgeous cottage is a fabulous place to stay if you're visiting Newark or the surrounding areas. Set in the heart.of Newark town centre, it's incredibly close to all the amenities including shops, restaurants, castle and market place which is just a 5 minute walk away, yet it is still very peaceful. Beautifully decorated and very spacious, with a terrific bathroom with a large shower with rainfall shower head, it is incredibly comfortable and has a lovely atmosphere. We have stayed twice already and have booked again for a future event. Dale the host, is very helpful and friendly and always trys to accommodate your requests. We can't recommend this cottage highly enough 😊

Perfect for a quiet and peaceful getaway

What a little gem. The photos don’t do it justice. This was the perfect location for our visits to the races at market rasen, Lincoln and the coast. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly and while they were next door, the Airbnb still felt private. The bathroom is spotless and spacious, the little kitchen area had everything we needed and the welcome pack of breakfast items was really welcome. We loved the bedroom/living area. Such a comfy bed and much more space than we expected. The most wonderful surprise was the stunning garden which we could sit in and enjoy. We will definitely be back!

All was as described and a very central location to enjoy the area. We thoroughly enjoyed a meal out at The Royal Oak, Heckington - a great recommendation.

Chose this place slightly randomly but am so pleased we did! Perfect location minutes from the castle and cathedral and lots of lovely places to eat with an amazing view. Had everything we needed and the bed in particular was exceptional- big, comfortable with lovely bed linen. Often that’s the bit that can let a place down but not in this property. Lincoln is a brilliant place for a weekend visit- so much to see and do. And our sons jumped on a train from London and joined us for the day too as an added bonus! We took the free walking tour which set us up well but I hadn’t imagined there’d be so many lovely shops and art galleries too. Plus live music and theatre and cinema and of course the beautiful music at the cathedral (I went to choral evensong) Thank you Valerie- will be recommending to everyone!

Beth was a fab host and her place was like a dream! So quite and peaceful and plenty of parking - we loved staying here :)

I had a wonderful stay with my partner and newborn. We were made to feel right at home and the location and annex was beautiful. Cannot recommend highly enough, we will be returning for sure.

Great place to stay for access to Sherwood Forest and surrounding area. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Lovely and clean , well equipped property. Private little suntrap .

The stay was beautiful and perfect. It was clean and cozy. With access to a private garden and a quiet area, it was perfect for quiet evenings. The city centre is close by - 10-16 minute walk. Christina, the host, was friendly and responsive! Would definitely book again!

We stayed at Andrew and Moira’s for a wedding anniversary weekend which had also coincided with a concert at the local Town Hall. Moira’s premises was right in the centre and very close to restaurants, shops and all local amenities. We couldn’t have wished for a nicer, cleaner or more well appointed place to stay or for more friendly and amenable hosts. I can’t recommend the apartment enough and we will certainly stay there again on the next occasion that we decide to visit Louth. Very highly recommended indeed.

we have stayed at Willow View twice now and wouldn't hesitate to book again. James and Shani are great hosts, friendly, responsive and there when you need them. the room has everything you could need and it's situated I beautiful, quiet and tranquil surroundings. Burton Joyce is a lovely place with plenty of walks and an easy going vibe.
