Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The apartment: a bedroom with 2 really good box mattresses, which function as a double bed or single beds. Both winter and summer duvets are extra long. Combined living room/kitchen, entrance and small bathroom with shower. There is private guest parking and bicycles available. Close to lovely Kattegat with access to the beach from the landowners' association beach. NOTE: due to dog allergy, no pets. Sorry.

There are also charging stations if you come by electric car. Definitely a home to experience.

100-year-old, beautiful, warm, dry and well-maintained log cabin in Asserbo, with newly built annex, on 2,000 m2, quiet and sunny natural grounds, close to one of the best beaches. (5 min/car, 10 min/bike, 30 min/ walk). The main house has a large kitchen, wood stove, dining area for 6 people, bedroom with Queen size bed, chamber with 1 single bed. Bathroom with toilet, shower/seat bathtub, washing machine. Utility room with dishwasher. Annex: 2 beds. 3 sleeping places and heat pump, so it is always dry and nice.

Recharge your batteries in this beautiful cottage, located in idyllic surroundings at the end of a cul-de-sac. The ducks come to visit the scenic garden and with a lovely terrace and only 2 km to the beach, there is a good setting for outdoor life. The house is not far from Liseleje with the beautiful beach, Melby and Hundested harbor, which allows you to experience good food, art and fishing for crabs. Note: Guests must bring linen and towels. For an additional fee, a linen package can be rented.

This is our pearl. This is where we escape the busy city life of Copenhagen and spend time together as a family. Pancakes for breakfast. BBQ for dinner. A swim in the ocean. Big enough for the whole family - plus a few friends! NOTE: Rental of summer houses is generally without bedsheets in DK. That is also the case here. Please bring your own!

Cosy summer cabin - for the relaxing vacation!

Our house is a cosy, classic wooden Danish summerhouse built in 1960 and thoroughly renovated in 2019. New windows have opened up the house and give a great outlook to the garden, the birds and all the wildlife passing through. The last few years we have let the garden grow more wild and this has attracted even more bird- and wildlife. We love our oasis and hope that you will do the same! Huset har en større idyllisk og frodig have, som over de varme måneder har massere smukke blomster og mange hyggelige opholdsarealer. Der er kun 5 min. gang til indkøb, kro, restaurant, pizzaria, kiosk mm. Kun 2 km væk ligger Liseleje, som har en fantastik badestrand, naturlegeplads, ishus og utallige restauranter og barer.
