Very well equipped house, with a friendly owner who met us on arrival. Really felt like a home from home. Lovely, shared, pool. Quiet surroundings in a very small village, with a good taverna almost next door. Good location to explore the north coast, easily driveable to the beach, Chania and Rethymon. We wished we'd booked to stay longer.

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Galania for 5 nights in May 2025. The facilities were excellent and clean. The location is peaceful, with beautiful mountain views. If you are looking for a place to relax and forget the city's hustle and bustle, this place is worth considering. The host's guide app on the phone is invaluable, providing good instructions and tips both inside and outside the villa. The mattresses were too firm for our taste, but we bought a new thicker mattress topper for the master bedroom, which made sleeping much more comfortable for us. We left the topper on the master bedroom bed for future guests to enjoy. This was our choice, and I do not want to criticize the host for this. However, if you are used to a soft mattress, the beds might feel hard. The villa is in a remote area, so I recommend renting a car. Follow the host's instructions to reach the villa, as Google Maps or other navigation apps will likely get you there via smaller and narrower roads.

I had a great stay here with my two daughters. We all loved the clean, spacious and well equipped villa and Nikos was a very friendly and accessible host. Highly recommended !

As someone who’s constantly traveling for both work and leisure, it’s rare to come across a place where everything is so well thought out that there’s nothing to comment on, in the best way. This is genuinely one of my favorite stays. The location and views are magical and the attention to detail across the property is impressive. The pool and garden were always perfectly maintained and for a mountain spot, it’s not easy to find such clear, bug-free water. The team on site was great, always helpful without being intrusive. The food at the restaurant isn’t fancy but it’s honest, home-cooked, and made with care. Thank you for everything, I’d definitely come back and already started recommending it to friends.

The place is gorgeous, well-maintained and in an excellent location. The house is nicely furnished and AC is available in all rooms (needed in summer because flat roof). The village of Vryses is perfect to go out for meals and to buy everything that‘s needed on a daily basis - grocery stores, a butcher shop, bakeries, smaller craft shops, pharmacies, a toy store and much more. Good speed wifi and a nice layout of the garden and pool area. The hosts are just perfect: they provided us with many tips for local food and sights, and very communicative yet conscious of one‘s privacy. Strong recommendation!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Fairytale Villas! Located about 20 minutes outside of old town Chania, the villa has beautiful views of the mountains and a small growing fruit orchard. It's really beautiful and peaceful. The home is well-designed for a family of 4 and has all the needed amenities. The pool is amazing. My kids swam every morning and night. Note that you would absolutely need a car to stay here because it is not walkable to anything, but an easy drive to a grocery store for cooking. We would love to come back someday!

Beautiful villa and close to good restaurants and beach. Maria and Mr.Sifis where great hosts, easy to get in touch with and really welcoming. The only downside with our stay was the grass where the sun beds where at was really high and should have been taking care of and the beds were hard. Other than that an amazing villa I would recommend!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Excellent stay . Lovely family helped throughout. Home is beautiful

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Lovely villa with sun on the balconies and pool almost all day. Beautiful view, well equipped and plenty of room. Mark was extremely helpful and responsive. The villa is in a lovely, not too touristy, village with great tavernas, two little shops and very kind staff who work there. A great location to explore Crete from!

We had an excellent stay at Villa Logari. Beautiful home that looked just like the photos. Host was extremely responsive and hospitality was top notch… the daily breakfast basket is an amazing touch. The villa is in Xirosterni which is a bit off the beaten path but is charming and we were able to explore the local area as well as travel to both Chania and Rethymno which are each around 45 minutes away. Would definitely return!

This is a spectacular villa and easily matches the photos. One unexpected feature was that one of the two pools was shallow for the kids. That meant they could stand by themselves and they would play in it all day. The adults loved just lying in it too! Nikos was a great host. He welcomed us on to the property and was extremely responsive with our questions. He even delivered extra pool toys and Greek treats during our stay. The area is very private with a short drive to supermarkets and some classic waterfront restaurants. It’s also convenient to get to Chania airport. We loved our stay here as two families, it exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend.

We had an awesome stay at Giorgos’s place. The property is stunning and clean. The views are amazing. Living areas both inside and outside are spacious. Perfect for large groups. Host is excellent and easily reachable. He brought over a ton of toys for my 4 year old daughter. We lost power at one point because of a storm and without skipping a beat, Giorgios came over with lights and candles. Location is perfect for all the day trips around the south side of the the island. 1 minor complaint is that the beds are not that comfortable—but that seems to Crete thing as any AirBnb we’ve stayed in in the last few years have been similar. The single beds are a little hard. The queen beds are comfortable but the bed frames are loud and creaky. Other than that it was a perfect stay and highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

We stayed for 4 nights in late April. A wonderful place in a fantastic location. Everything was as described. It was well appointed with lots of nice touches. They were very helpful with directions, local suggestions, etc. The outside area is large and beautiful. Only minor point to note is that all three bedrooms are on the ground level and there is only one bathroom on that level. The other is small and upstairs by the living room. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend this beautiful villa highly enough. We had a wonderful week long stay and it felt like home from home. The villa is very private, set back from the road and has the most stunning view and surroundings. It is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The pool is absolutely amazing - our children practically lived in it! There is also the dining area and sofa under the veranda, where you can relax in the afternoon heat and take in the amazing views. Mike was an exceptional host - he was very responsive and helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is located a short drive from Almyrida, which has a beautiful beach and several fantastic restaurants that are right on the sea front - amazing views when enjoying your evening meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we definitely hope to return one day!

Nikos was an excellent host! He brought us fresh goodies and made sure we had everything needed. The home is beautiful and exactly has pictured. I recommend renting a car if you stay here as it is quite desolate location and not walkable to restaurants/shops.
